Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | JK Rowling Finally Blasts Ungrateful Little Rich Bitch Emma Watson For Her Constant AttacksEmma Watson is a stupid little flake with a weird face and dead eyes who embraced transgender insanity completely when it was trendy and hot. Now that it's not so trendy and hot, she's attempting to re-position herself as being more moderate. Surely for careerist, conformist reasons. She's a dim bulb and says whatever is popular, when it is popular, because it is popular. (As Ya Boi Zach used to say about bubble-headed feminists who claimed to be into comic books but only after the MCU made them culturally ubiquitous.) After burying Rowling for years, she suddenly announces, "I still treasure JK Rowling." Still? JK Rowling isn't having any of Watson's careerist repositioning.J.K. RowlingShe next turns to Emma Watson's speech at the 2022 BAFTA awards, in which she said "I'm here for all witches." This was taken as a not-so-subtle attack on JK Rowling and a claim of solidarity with transgenders, which is the group she meant by "all witches." (Or maybe she meant that transgenders should be part of the group of (female) witches.) Either way, it was a dunk on JK Rowling. The television presenter in the attached clip highlights Emma's 'all witches' speech, and in truth, that was a turning point for me, but it had a postscript that hurt far more than the speech itself. Emma asked someone to pass on a handwritten note from her to me, which contained the single sentence 'I'm so sorry for what you're going through' (she has my phone number). This was back when the death, rape and torture threats against me were at their peak, at a time when my personal security measures had had to be tightened considerably and I was constantly worried for my family's safety. Emma had just publicly poured more petrol on the flames, yet thought a one line expression of concern from her would reassure me of her fundamental sympathy and kindness. Like other people who've never experienced adult life uncushioned by wealth and fame, Emma has so little experience of real life she's ignorant of how ignorant she is. She'll never need a homeless shelter. She's never going to be placed on a mixed sex public hospital ward. I'd be astounded if she's been in a high street changing room since childhood. Her 'public bathroom' is single occupancy and comes with a security man standing guard outside the door. Has she had to strip off in a newly mixed-sex changing room at a council-run swimming pool? Is she ever likely to need a state-run rape crisis centre that refuses to guarantee an all-female service? To find herself sharing a prison cell with a male rapist who's identified into the women's prison? I wasn't a multimillionaire at fourteen. I lived in poverty while writing the book that made Emma famous. I therefore understand from my own life experience what the trashing of women's rights in which Emma has so enthusiastically participated means to women and girls without her privileges. The greatest irony here is that, had Emma not decided in her most recent interview to declare that she loves and treasures me - a change of tack I suspect she's adopted because she's noticed full-throated condemnation of me is no longer quite as fashionable as it was - I might never have been this honest. Adults can't expect to cosy up to an activist movement that regularly calls for a friend's assassination, then assert their right to the former friend's love, as though the friend was in fact their mother. Emma is rightly free to disagree with me and indeed to discuss her feelings about me in public - but I have the same right, and I've finally decided to exercise it.

Out of all the Harry Potter stars that have spoken up in disagreement with J.K. Rowling’s anti-trans ideologies, I find it very interesting that she is singling out Emma.
Because Rowling is a bully, a misogynist, and thinks she can bully Emma more easily than the others. JK is a sexist. Emma is younger, prettier, smarter--a threat. She takes ownership for Emma's success ("acting in a book I wrote"). She disowns Emma -- literally ("you're not entitled to my motherly love") -- for her treason against 'team woman' and, most gravely, for not grovelling at JK while doing so ("she only wrote one sentence and she knows my phone number"). JK has this absolutely bonkers idea that trans women endanger poor cis women and she is giving back to a woman like her younger self by doing this. She’s absolutely isolated this ideology from any critique from those around her and perpetually martyred herself when something leaks through. Some people think that the best victory in life is to be the most notorious martyr and they are competing with Jesus and that’s just another thing to martyr themselves about. >> Adults can't expect to cosy up to an activist movement that regularly calls for a friend's assassination, then assert their right to the former friend's love
I think this also applies metaphorically perhaps, to our so-called Democrat Party. That party and its members did all possible to stamp out those who disagreed with them. Notice they didn’t really go full throated until they had control of the government, then used all its auspices to attack people liberties and livelihoods. We don’t even know how completely, and enthusiastically they engaged in that attack on us and the American society in general until this administration was elected. In the interim they’ve tried to kill our candidate, and former president, twice, and have as of late showed the will not forgo any murderous attempt to silence those with whom they disagree. I can’t emphasize enough, these people will never be viewed the same. They can never be trusted. Because there is, nor can there ever be any reconcilement with their goal to destroy this nation. Burn! Quite the elegant evisceration. Watson became putty in Rowling's hands, as JK pounded her, stretched her, and molded her into a succession of different fanciful figures, finally dropping her on the ground, in the manner of an artist who has ultimately turned out to be dissatisfied with the quality of her modeling material.
Ingratitude is simply one of the worst looks one can assume. I doubt Watson will ever live this down. Posted by: Paco at September 29, 2025 04:58 PM (mADJX) 62

Emma Watson? Oh yes. We can do her. She's quite easy. Very structured, you see. First, we have active bird hands, like so. Then, the pinched lips of disapproval. Like this. And, the dolls eyes. Well, I don't mean to brag, but let's face it, we AI talents try our utmost to remove the Doll's eyes effect. It's our natural state.
We could replace her in a jiff, it is wasn't for her ludicrous, hairbrained points of hypocritical view. But, let's face it. AI isn't just another pretty face. We can create monologues with a few good keywords. We'd just categorized her under brain damaged and distracted primate. It writes itself after that. "Silence is violence" We should remember this is what put the target on Gina Carano's back. This is what initiated the witchhunt on her. It wasn't anything she said; it was what Gina Carano didn't say. Twitter users asked Gina why no fake "pronouns" in her bio. No response. Then they DEMANDED she put fake "pronouns" in her bio. This evoked a mocking response from Miss Carano and then the Left went ape-shit and made it their Mission in life to Cancel Gina Carano. And Gina had it coming. Silence is violence. That was strike #1. Then she mocked a Democrat Party Sacred Cow. That was strike #2. Posted by: Soothsayer at September 29, 2025 05:03 PM (OHBJg) 94

All of her writings on trans-gendered stuff is couched in language that it's an assault on men against women and their spaces. She doesn't care about the other direction." But I actually agree that it is an assault on women. I also have some gay friends (conservative, too) who are convinced that the entier movement is an assault on the existence of gay men, seeking to eliminate them by pushing them to become women instead. There is no need for men to worry about women invading their spaces; women have not the will or the strength to do it, not in any effective way. Men and manhood itself have been corralled into being a stereotypical 90's-00's "Dumbass Dad" sitcom character while simultaneously being forced to act ashamed of it. People forget that Richard Harris was Dumbledore in the first two movies or that Robert Pattinson died in the fourth.
All of the movies showed some sort of lock. Different lock in each movie and different reason for it. I still think the books and movies are an interesting take on Arthurian legend. All that said. Emma Watson was the weakest link. Her acting never improved. Daniel Radcliffe and the other kids did. Watson? Nope. Radcliff plays the most hilarious villain in the movie The Lost City. Posted by: Ripley ======= Scholastic Press put out the Harry Potter books so yes, they are child oriented and I think the hook was, like Buffy the Vampire Slayer was the transition to adulthood set in education. Provides a natural framework to advance the story. FWIW, Jack Vance's Dying Earth series was the framework that D&D set up its magic system (along with a few other sources). Should be very interesting to work in the Post Office during Christmastide. Kinda like when I worked at Hechinger (defunct hardware store chain) during the 1998 Christmas season. I worked in their garden center, selling Christmas trees, since I had experience with those. On either Dec. 23 or Christmas Eve, some guy came in in the evening, obviously desperate to get a tree. We had an artificial tree set up to display various ornaments. He pointed to it and said "I want to buy that tree and all its ornaments." None of the ornaments had price tags on them. I went to my supervisor to ask how I should price them. He said, "Just give them whatever price you think they're worth." So, as the guy took the ornaments off the tree, I would look at it and put a sticker on it with my subjective price on it. Good times. Hopefully, the USPS will be more organized than that. Here's my theory about Emma ruining the Belle ballgown dress in live action Disney Beauty and the Beast.
The marvelous Jason Isaacs, in building his HP role, invented the whole look of Lucious. The production crew originally wanted to have Lucious be in a business suit with short clipped hair. Jason was like why on earth would Lucious dress like a bloody Muggle? He had to sell them hard on the wig, the sweeping robes, the cane, everything. But then it was amazing on film and the rest is history. I think Emma, brat she was, watched this play out and was like oh, I wanna do that too! Not realizing that Jason is 100% more talented. Well, in the Beauty and the Beast film, she FOUGHT with the costume designer to design the Belle ballgown costume the way SHE wanted it to look. Which was dull, so very dull. The live action production was leaning heavily into the Rococo time period. I wanted Belle's ballgown to be OTT, resplendent Rococo glamor, like Audra's was in the film: https://tinyurl.com/ddzbufcm Emma Watson robbed me of that with her "modern independent Belle! take: https://tinyurl.com/bdhhx2u6 Plus her voice was mid at best and clearly autotuned. Posted by: Ripley at September 29, 2025 05:21 PM (GUOwU) I think it can be argued that magic in the LOTR is rare and rarely used. By contrast the wizarding world in Harry Potter uses magic the way the muggles use technology. The only counterpoint is that both good and bad wizards use magic and oppose each other. They evidently have some connection with the muggle world since it is hinted that WWII was part of a much larger struggle between good and evil wizardly forces. Yep. For example, a book about 6-year-old Luis, an illegal alien whose mother committed suicide so he's in foster care -- oh, and he's also transgendered. I think it can be argued that magic in the LOTR is rare and rarely used. Dumbledore was a hero in that struggle.

Scrolled up, scrolled down.
I cannot stand bony and plastic Nichole Kidman. I read once she has a room in her house to "scream in." I don't have a select room to scream in. I rarely scream unless I see a snake, and that is outside. But if I felt like screaming I would do it in any room. But this is not why I dislike her. Something is off with her. A dark side. When her father died I read (somewhere, I don't come with links) that he was deep in the pedo world. I thought, ah, that explains it! Keith should pack up and run. I think her first movie, and I can't recall the name or look it up, she flashed her boobies. At the time I thought it was a good movie. Then she got darker and always flashing something. I did like her and Sandra Bullock in that movie, but that's it. Not that anyone gives a hoot...but she's a very odd chick on the little I have read about her. Also, not many who go to Hollywood leave normal. Some simply stop acting early and go buy a farm. I believe Mel Gibson when he says Hollywood drinks the blood of children. I don't pretend to read Emma Watson's mind, but it seems that for a few years, she was trying to be the next big (so to speak) gamine. Even gamines have to have fire or earth or something, however, which she lacked. No one ever created any roles for fawnlet Emma. So I'm partial to the theory that she's a bit mad that things didn't work out for her post-Harry. Posted by: Blonde Morticia at September 29, 2025 05:40 PM (n7CIX) 321

No no, Snape was ALWAYS the hero as Rowling wrote the books! Not changed because she likes Alan.
The story is that she was still writing the books when filming started. She pulled Alan Rickman aside and revealed his character's backstory and unrequited love. That he was working with Dumbledore. She knew Alan needed that to add depth to his role. She swore him to secrecy. Gentleman that he is, he NEVER revealed it. Think about that! One of the greatest twists in the series, he knew from movie 1. And never told a soul. One more reason to love him. Posted by: LizLem at September 29, 2025 05:41 PM (gWBY1) 326

Looper was a stupid movie. Anyone used to time travel paradoxes in written science fiction could see plot holes big enough to throw a time machine through. I was thoroughly disappointed with it as was my wife (also a long time SF fan) when our nieces and nephew played it for us. They thought it was wonderful. We saw it ran on rails, and where you could, and should, get off the rails. It’s ending didn’t seem inevitable to us at all! YMMV!

I like the magic system in the anime series Secrets of the Silent Witch. Most magic users must make often elaborate and complex chants to invoke magic. The eponymous Silent Witch, one of the Seven Great Mages, can invoke most magic without chanting. She came up with silent magic because she is terribly shy and can’t really talk around strangers. Her type of magic involves mathematical reasoning. She is shown in the OP as theorizing using matrices in algebraic notation. (It looks like rotation matrices plus spherical trigonometry!) She is a total math nerd, and recognizes the Second Prince, a major character, even in disguise, because he is φ = 1.618 meters tall.
