Speaking of Was (not Was), Don Was (I think he's the black wearing the hat), was involved in one of my favorite Waylon Jennings albums. Producer, I think. He played bass on it too. Waymore Blues II.

The pace of AI companies' spending on new datacenters is expected to require annual revenues of $2 trillion by 2030.
How do AI companies get revenue? From people paying for AI services? Are those people paying to forge the chains of their own future servitude? When companies get rid of all the people who know how to do without AI, when schools stop teaching the fundamentals of how to do without AI... then AI companies can charge what they wish and people will pay for they will have left themselves no choice. Good luck continuing to increase the price as more of your customer base is realizing: a) There's not enough value for what's provided. b) There's something really wrong (evil, really) at Disney. Upward price spiral, meet downward subscriber-base spiral. That's going to reach one of those sudden tipping points. Morning, all.
63 mild degrees here at Stately Poppins Manor. Rain today, rain tomorrow, rain Friday. Would be good weather for me to write, if I had the energy. Ron Howard's Apollo 13 is back on the big screen today, so I am going to see it after work (I don't know where it might be playing where you live, but you might want to check). I started reading Shakespeare's Local, a 15-odd year old book about the George, one of the oldest pubs in London. I couldn't get past the first chapter - not because the book was bad or politically perverse, but because the author has such a love for London and I know that that particular city (which I have been to and love) is never coming back. I'll never set foot in Fortnum and Mason or walk along Savile Row or have tea at the Savoy or visit the Globe ever again and that pains me immensely. As someone who has mocked RFK and anti-vaxers a lot...
I don't believe that RFK was an anti-vaxxer. I don't believe that he ever said that vaxxes were bad, or that they should be stopped. He suggested that they might have a link to autism, particularly the rate at which they were administered - which, admittedly, is as crazy as suggesting that acetaminophen use during pregnancy could lead to autism - and he suggested that, perhaps, we shouldn't be vaxxing newborns for sexually transmitted diseases if there was no danger of contracting it from the mother. /yes, the comment about acetaminophen was snark since so many people have immediately discounted it despite the actual source of the information. RFKj doesn’t mind asking the questions about medicine, vaccines, and the food supply that everyone else seems too afraid, or too bought, to ask.
I don’t mind it one bit. Whether he’s right or wrong about his theories doesn’t matter, Big Pharma, Big Healthcare, and Big Ag need to be grilled on why chronic disease in the U.S. gets worse as technology supposedly gets better. This article from the Daily Mail makes it seem like a hostage situation over at Kimmel’s:
https://archive.ph/0SRh8 Some choice quotes- 'No one knows what Jimmy is going to say, but there are rumblings that if he apologizes, there will be a walkout. ‘If he grovels or falls on his sword, that’s actually a betrayal to all of us. It will feel like he doesn’t have our back. 'I understand that he’s got to protect his career, but he can’t do it at the expense of truth and what we all agreed on. ‘There’s also a feeling that we were in it together when we discussed what to say, when things were written for him, when we bounced things off each other. 'And now the decision is being made over our heads, with none of our input. We don’t know what’s going to happen, and that feels s****.’ ‘Look, I understand if he had said that Charlie Kirk deserved to get shot in the neck, but he didn’t. 'He didn’t say any of that at all. And we all talked about how to be respectful while still saying what needed to be said. 'It’s annoying because we tried so hard. So yeah, if Jimmy grovels, he undoes all that and we are all going to be p***ed.’ It’s a cult within a cult wrapped up in a cult. Posted by: SpeakingOf at September 24, 2025 06:50 AM (6ydKt) 85

… now I see there are efforts underway to force Sinclair and Nexstar to air his clown show by withholding NFL distribution. …
Posted by: Thomas Bender at September 24, 2025 05:23 AM (EzvXk) Don’t think they thought that through. Cutting their football advertiser’s audience wouldn’t be a smart move. Posted by: Buzz Adrenaline at September 24, 2025 07:02 AM (JRP2U) 94
"Macrium Reflect maybe?
Posted by: Halfhand" Maybe. I have not tried it. There is a 30 day evaluation that I might give a shot. It bugs me that C!onezilla does not work though. Posted by: fd at September 24, 2025 07:02 AM (vFG9F) 95

Remember when Jimmy Kimmel said he would be shutting down his show on Jan 21 because Trump was re-elected? Remember when Aaron Rogers accused Jimmy Kimmel of being on the Epstein list? Remember how that Rogers' stuff all blew over when Kimmel said he would sue Aaron - but then the late Virginia Guifre in her Epstein suit identified Jimmy Kimmel as somebody she had sex with at Epstein's house? Oh yeah, so Jimmy Kimmel really is a pedo and a liar.

Sidebar question: "Where are all the Madison Cornbreads of yesteryear?"
If that is, where are those specific Junior Psyop Agents now -- I suspect they mostly calmed their tits, charmed a guy to the altar, pumped out a couple of kids, and led quiet, normal lives. It would be unfair for them to get away with it, and that's true-to-life; just desserts can happen, but not anywhere as reliably as in fiction. If that is, are they not making them like they used to -- I think not. The memetic stew that produced such young women has mutated into such a toxic form, I picture it like a drug or alcohol addiction progressing past the "sweet spot" of immersed yet technically functional. Now, the proto forms of that type of character are, if not fully resistant to Social Justice cult thought control, then rendered gibbering goblins by today's turbo version. In this mental model, the pretty and put-together NPCs of yore were the product of a transient phase of the mind virus, and we should not expect to see their like in the current mode. Perhaps that "sweet spot" will happen again someday, but I think it would be after a full cycle of Hard Times -> Strong Men -> Good Times -> Soft Men. You know what they say in Silicon Valley: If you get caught in a bubble, keep blowing harder.
