121 The White House budget office has instructed federal agencies to prepare to fire a ton of people (aka 'reduction-in-force' plans) that could permanently eliminate jobs in the event of a government shutdown - the latest twist in the latest shutdown groundhog day - effectively challenging Democrats to a game of chicken.

This is exactly what you would expect a president to do if he wanted to cut the budget.

The Dems will be playing with fire if in fact they shut the government down because Trump 2.0 isn't Trump 1.0 let alone Shrub

Schumer's staff can read that memo just as well as I can.

The shutdown won't happen.

He'll take a bad news cycle for himself rather than the federal government losing a few hundred thousand employees...which will be blamed on him.

I think it happens - he'll call Trump's possible bluff and either win VA for Dems (which is looking iffier than expected) with a shutdown or get Trump to back down.

He doesn't care about anything but himself, so Schumer won't take the loss without a whole bunch of someones joining him...and that doesn't look likely yet.

Essentially they want to replicate the Russian and French Revolutions that started in urban areas it appears. But the weird Cellphone/Sim server combo in an abandoned apartment in NYC serves to tell us that they may have alternative comms in collaboration with a foreign power like Russia, China, or Iran.

Apparently Secret Service was investigating swatting attacks on MTG and others and stumbled across this as the means of which it was done.

Unknown how many other such cellular network timebombs and alternative server locations are around for leftist's and/or foreign nations' purposes.

Some irrationality can be explained away like loss avoidance preferences but yet others are more likely due to distorted estimates of expected gains versus expected losses. I remember spending a dollar or two in the early 1970's to order several of her wild setting prints by mail so I could put them into cheap, wall mounted picture frames. (I must check my Grandmother's cedar chest in the basement to see if they're still in storage.)

Thanks for a very good memory!

Yes. The left started a war on a number of layers - including government taxing and spending power.

We need to respond in kind. All cuts should be targeted at money that goes towards left leaning groups along with all new taxes and fees.

That has got to be the dumbest assumed name ever. Two illiteracies in one name. The only thing that could make it worse is if she'd spelled "Megan" as "Meegunn" or something.

1) "Thee" is a completely different word. It has no relation to "the", even in cases where it's pronounced like "thee", which it isn't in this case. Given that "stallion" starts with a consonant, "the" is pronounced "thuh". Moron.

2) A stallion is an intact male horse, you stupid bint. You are a fat human female.

that's odd. when i first looked at the art, i thought of a book i read back in 1st grade or so. no longer remember much about it, but the illustrations were in a similar style. the bit of the book that still sticks in my mind involves a dog that spins round and round until he disappears.

I agree, regardless of Schumer's thoughts or plans.

This is the moment to kick them when they're down and keep kicking them.

Take away their access to easy money a go after the funders of violence, riots, etc with RICO and throw them in jail if convicted.

Also, find out who the foreign rich are supporting antifa, BLM and the like and go after them as terrorists.

This moment is unlikely to come again if it's wasted.

Not in some veiled way, but in an explicit way.

It's obviously designed to fail, Schumer's bluster. He's playing to the far left. There's no way the GOP undoes the one welfare reform in the last 20 years that happened in the OBBB through a temporary stopgap spending measure.
