I've found it to be quite useful in crafting emails. It also produces very nicely formatted minutes of meetings that can be produced just from notes in notepad.
It has some other nice tricks, that are productivity boosters, but if you try to use it for researching a problem, or finding technical docs, you spend a LOT of time building rails around its response with ever evolving prompts.
I don't think it is really very useful for that approach.

Sony a6400. The number of wildly good prime lenses for the APS-C sensor for under $300, even under $200 makes going with the Sony a total winner. Moving up the price point, in the $500 to $700 range you can get zooms and primes that are every bit as good as full frame sensor $2,000 lenses. Plus the size of the body and the lenses for this camera make it an ideal walking around camera.

Oh, and I had a thought about your comment about the BP meds working maybe too well: It takes time for you to adjust to the "new normal" - don't do anything too strenuous for a while, and if you feel even the littlest bit dizzy, put down what you're carrying, and sit down for a bit until it passes.
BP meds take a while to adjust to. I'm on what's considered the weakest dose, and the first two or three days were... odd. Then things smoothed out and I was fine. (Apparently running at 'danger pressure' for a very long time takes some coming down from.)

Suggestion: Set up a spreadsheet for logging when you take your meds (exact date/time) with a comments column in case you want to note why you took one early, late, or missed it entirely, or if you want to describe how it's making you feel that day. Makes it a lot easier to submit something to your doctor if you need a medication adjustment (and it lets your doctor know you're serious about taking your prescribed medication on schedule.)

People deal with these things differently, and at the time I was pissed about it, I was focusing my wrath on Patel and Bongino and Bondi for basically going out and lying about it, after they spent years being some of the loudest voices on it.

I hadn't mentioned it much here, don't know why. Yes, some of my size 7 fedoras and one Western hat. I've moved three, and have three more up on eBay right now. At least one more needs to go up. A major constraint on getting good affordable lenses has been Canon and Nikon refused or charged excessive fees to license access to make them. Sony came late to the camera market and to generate some interest they opened up the e-mount system to anybody. The results of this wide open playing field has resulted in an amazing range of lenses for the Sony APS--C camera bodies. One example. I picked up a Samyang 12mm f2.0 autofocus lens for $270. It is like 2.5" L x 2.5" dia and weighs about 9 oz. That lens is tack sharp, has excellent contrast, and has no distortion across the frame. It's kind of mind-boggling after a lifetime of buying a Canon $1500+ lenses.

We're moving into a good time of year to buy a felt hat, too, and I say so on my listings: "Just in time for cooler weather!" I see sales of similar hats on the 'Bay going for a lot more than I'm asking, and I point that out too.
A new fur felt fedora, such as a Stetson, is insanely priced now, $275 for a hat I used to buy at Meyer's downtown in the '90s for $75. So me asking for $80-$120 for a clean, good-quality vintage fedora seems pretty reasonable.

LLM's don't appear to be economically scalable, even when they work. Re-commissioning Three Mile Island just to answer help desk calls (or whatever) is ridiculous on its face, even if it works. To thus say "trough of disillusionment" misses the point.
There has to be a fundamentally different approach. It's not "AI," it's LLM, and LLM appears to be a loser, generally. It's hard to see how it will ever be efficient enough to justify the small benefits that it yields.

Though the A19 Pro has two full-speed cores and the 9950X3D has sixteen of them. Geekbench seems to favour Apple, but it's still a solid result.
It’s definitely got some speedy p-cores.
It’s getting killed in multi core, with AMD having 12 more cores, so not surprising.
But the Apple M5 chip should be a beast if the A19 is any indication. Those are coming out on Vision Pro 2 and iPad Pros soon, apparently, then MacBooks, Mac Mini, and Mac Studio next year.

Smartphones have a feature which will not ring through unless the caller is in your phone book. There are several good reasons why a person might choose to not make use of that feature but I love it so much. The devil is in the details. How would you accomplish this? I think most of the calls are actually coming from outside the US so they'd not be likely to care about any laws restricting them. They spoof other people's phone numbers (which is something that they should find a way to prevent) so blocking that number accomplishes little.

2) gender change surgery and treatment must be banned, and any medical personnel continuing to engage in it must be imprisoned. That will end the tranny problem (and the existing ones will gradually self eliminate).
Much more must be done, but those are two obvious starting points.

I would say - all FBI agents must be unarmed while performing their duties and must act as assistants to local law enforcement - but for the fact that the FBI is sometimes called in to deal with corrupt local law enforcement.
