Good morning kids. It is bitterly ironic that Charlie Kirk, who indeed was a voice of sanity and reason for his generation and indeed for all real Americans, was silenced by an assassin's bullet on the eve of the 24th anniversary of the 9/11/01 attack. His martyrdom at the hands of a crazed Leftist, despite the despicable remark I saw somewhere claiming that he was shot by accident from a gun-toting supporter who fired off a celebratory round or some such bilge. Beyond that, we have Democrat pols and pundits doing what Muslims did 24 years ago as the Twin Towers collapsed, ululating and passing out candy. They are celebrating Kirk's murder while blaming him for his demise. His rhetoric you see caused his demise. Like the rape victim who dressed too provocatively, or Iryna Zaretska who exposed her white neck on a Charlotte tram car to Black the Ripper's knife and only has herself to blame.

One of the most horrendous examples was that Matthew Dowd subhuman waste-of-life from MSNBC or as I label it MSNSDAP. I'm actually shocked that MSNSDAP fired Dowd, considering this is the whorehouse that continues to give a platform to one of this nation's most execrable fomenters of violence in its history, that of the hideous so-called "Reverend" Al Sharpton.

Not to be outdone was bipedal Cesspool JB Pritzker, who as Illinois governor is awash in the blood of innocent Chicagoans as he lets that once great city once home to numerous slaughterhouses and known as the hog butcher of the world degenerate into a slaughterhouse of citizens as criminals roam at will to terrorize the people. But I digress.

Remember how they cheered and made Luigi Mangione a folk hero. I cannot wait to see how Charlie Kirk's assassin is canonized. May the day come when the Left is cannonized from 30MM fire of A-10 Warthogs on a strafing run. Rhetorically speaking of course /s.

When do we get to strike back. When do we get to declare "Never Again" and defend ourselves. If the rule of law means nothing to them, and like President Trump relying on a justice system that is out to destroy him in order to seek justice, then we have passed the tipping point.

Some have postulated that we are in or close to being in a state of civil war but I think that that is incorrect insofar as it would mean that the bodies are piling up on both sides of the divide. And despite all of us being tagged as fascists, Nazis, literally Hitler, white supremacists, Christian nationalists and committers of genocide here and abroad, the facts just do not gibe with reality. But of course that is a sine qua non of Leftists, Democrats and their ilk along with projection. They are doing and behaving in exactly the way they blood libel us as.

What we are confronted with is a political party and movement whose leaders in their two-century and continuing lust for absolute power have amassed a sizable following willing to vote the rest of us straight through a gate marked Arbeit Macht Frei as their antecedent kissing cousins did 80 years ago in Germany.

How many more Charlie Kirks, Iryna Zarutskas, Laken Rileys, catholic school children, Ashli Babitts GOP softball practices, Corporate executives and on and on and on must we mourn before, as the late MLK poetically intoned the biblical passage, "may justice roll on like a river, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream." Justice??? from a justice system that is non-stop pissing on our back and proclaiming it's raining. A justice system that threw the book at Daniel Penny, railroaded Donald Trump several times on a slew of bogus charges, and failing to destroy him that way, not to mention 2 or 3 assassination attempts, has shredded the Constitution in derailing his legal authority as President to discharge his duties across a broad range of domestic and foreign policy issues.

My incandescent hatred of the Left in this country not just for what they have done culturally, politically and now by cheering, fomenting and committing actual bloodshed but because they are making me want to see and visit the same, 10,000 times worse upon them. May God save us from the hell they have unleashed upon us and guide us in paths of righteousness so that we as a nation and people may once again live in peace, with truth and justice.

On the latest edition of the podcast, our friend the estimable Jim Lakely of the Heartland Institute discussed with me and CBD the horrifying implications of their latest set of polls, linked here and in the sidebar.

And of course do go to Heartland dot ORG to read and weep for yourselves.

One of of the more shocking revelations was that a very large majority of the 18-39 year old demographic, even across party lines, is strongly in favor of curtailing free speech rights. Considering who Charlie Kirk was and what he dedicated his life to – free speech and open political discourse – his assassination takes on an even more chilling tone.

But, at the young age of 31, Charlie was a part of that age cohort that is pushing to recreate Nazi Germany in their own image here at home.

Let us hope and pray that Charlie was not an outlier and that there really is a sizable number of Americans of all ages that are repulsed by what these polls are revealing about the path we are going down, which more and more is resembling the Road to Hell, or in the death camps what the Nazis euphemistacally and cruelly referred to as the Road to Heaven - the walkway that led to the doors of the gas chamber and crematoria.

I apologize in advance if my editorial today is a bit disjointed. I am just shaking with both rage and grief over Charlie Kirk as well as the memory of 9/11/01. NYC, despite all of its problems and faults, was and always will be my hometown and at the time while I was living in LA I was bicoastal and came back many times. I was in town for a couple of weeks before the attack and in fact was at the WTC the week before. I traveled from my place in Queens via the E train to the Trade Center and weirdly referred to it as my ground zero, from where I would go shopping at Century 21 dept. store, J&R Music world and then take a leisurely stroll up through Tribeca for a breakfast. That was my routine, sometimes accompanied by my father as we would go art gallery hopping in SoHo. I remember emerging from the subway that day and something compelled me to gaze upward to the top of the Towers like a tourist, and I had the weird feeling that I might never have the chance to see them again. My folks wanted me to extend my stay but something compelled me to return to LA and the next thing I knew, my dad was on the phone telling me turn on my TV, and that a plane had struck the WTC. My first thought was Cessna, until I saw the second plane strike the North tower and the world I thought I knew was gone forever. Had I extended my stay, no doubt I would've been at Ground Zero at the exact time of the attack.

Also, I later learned that a schoolfriend of mine happened to be on the 108th floor of the South Tower that day and so, as it is every year now on this day, my thoughts turn to her.

May her and all the memories of those who were slaughtered that day be for a blessing.

Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk has been shot and killed at an American Comeback Tour event at Utah Valley University. UVU has confirmed the shot was fired “at about 12:10” and that a suspect was taken into custody. However, police have since determined that a suspect taken into custody in the immediate aftermath of the shooting was not the gunman. As of now, the killer is still at large.

1. Fed/state/local poor person/refugee benefits
2. Willingness to live 10-15 to a home for the ones who send funding back
3. Ability to work completely under the table, so they double the poor person bennies and salary
4. DEI and preference hiring for minorities either by official or unofficial encouragement (ie - look at construction crews)
5. No debt

You can ignore this and say young people are irrational, but it doesn't change facts on the ground. Even my FT hired pro=life R female told me how impossible it all seems...and she's rock solid in our camp b/c of the abortion issue...normal, run of the mill young people, especially those NOT speaking politics 24-7 (or in the case of my daughter, at all) think this now - ignoring that is a plan, but maybe not the best one...

The question was posed here last night: "When was the last time a conservative assassinated a liberal?" and I answered it was when Charlotte Corday killed Marat in 1793, and that was in the midst of the French Revolution, where the government was killing innocent people by the hundreds per day.

At my work some of my cow-workers petitioned upper management to get cost of living adjustments to meet inflation after the regular raises did not during the Junta years

They got told to get bent.

Now under Trump inflation is much lower...but so are the raises.

If, indeed, the shot was from 200 yards away, Charlie getting hit in the neck was happenstance, because no one aims for the neck.

Which leads me to believe it's very possible the shot was much further out, say, 500 yards or more. But, I don't know the sight lines where the event took place, so, maybe the shooter was only 200 yards out.

4" dispersion at 200 yards is mediocre rifle quality and skill, and factor in that we don't know aim point and the possibility Shooter didn't take vertical drop into consideration (impact point will be lower than point of aim). Too many unknowns. All this is to say that you can't claim pro, simply because of a first shot hit that any average hunter would want to make on game at that distance, or because they have not found him in under 24 hours.

451 270 Regarding the 200 yard shot. I don't know what it is today, but in ancient times USMC rifle qualification was fired at 200, 300, and 500 yards with iron sights. 200 was a piece of cake. Now, put even mediocre optics on a rifle firing a flat shooting round and things get pretty easy. But it doesn't make getting away any easier.

I once took a never before shot rifle with iron sights and suppressed 5.56 out to 250 yds hit 29/30 on a torso sized plate. Unknown ammo, never sighted in, never shot suppressed before. Shot I pulled was the 26th of 30 because I let myself start thinking about not believing it was this accurate out of the box...
I'm not a sniper, just a dude. If I can do it, it's a thing most can do.

They arrested the second guy at his car because he had what appeared to be a rifle in the car, but it turned out to be a break barrel pellet gun. So Nah.

Sorry, but Paxton is going to lose. The only person he could charge is anyone who takes the pill within Texas. The Commerce Clause specifically prohibits states from instituting import controls from other states, and the Congress has not passed any legislation that prohibits interstate movement of these pills, like they have for, say, firearms. The other exemption is alcohol, and there the 22nd Amendment specifically exempts alcohol from the Commerce Clause.
