The Morning Report — 9/10/25

BetterFetter.jpg

Good morning kids. Midweek and there are quite a few things happening, beyond the total news blackout, or twisting of the narrative to preserve protect and defend the status of the subhuman Democrat-spawned savage as the real victim of his butchery of an innocent young woman on a Charlotte tramcar.

First we have the State of Israel swatting the radioactive hornet's nest of Hamas in Qatar.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump pointed out that “unilaterally bombing” Qatar, which has worked “very hard and bravely” to try to broker peace between Israel and Hamas, did “not advance” the goals of the United States or Israel. Trump also expressed that while “eliminating Hamas” was a “worthy goal,” Qatar is a strong ally to the U.S., and he felt “very badly” about the strike.

“This morning, the Trump Administration was notified by the United States Military that Israel was attacking Hamas which, very unfortunately, was located in a section of Doha, the Capital of Qatar,” Trump said. “This was a decision made by Prime Minister Netanyahu, it was not a decision made by me. Unilaterally bombing inside Qatar, a Sovereign Nation and close Ally of the United States, that is working very hard and bravely taking risks with us to broker Peace, does not advance Israel or America’s goals.”

Define the word "ally" for us Mr. President. Qatar is an ally of convenience, nothing more or less. As an Islamic nation first and foremost they culturally and philosophically do not share our values or ultimate geopolitical aims. About the best you can say about the Qataris is that they allow Hamas to be in their midst because it prevents Hamas from slitting their throats. And that's giving them too much of the benefit of the doubt. Yes, we have a huge military presence in that country but perhaps, all things considered we should rethink that. Oh well, it is what it is. At the end of the day, even if Israel were to utterly decimate the ranks of Hamas, the nature of Islam dictates that some other entity will emerge to take its place, perhaps under a different name but the 1500 year and counting quest to slit the throats of every Jew on the planet will go on. Even if Trump knows this, I suppose it is a huge domestic and international third rail he'd be stepping on if he were to utter that undeniable truth, and that's giving him the benefit of the doubt.

Elsewhere in the world, the Ukraine bloodletting now has the potential to get completely out of hand.

Poland shot down drones that entered its airspace during a widespread Russian attack in western Ukraine on Wednesday, with the NATO member calling the incursion “an act of aggression.”

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said that he was in “constant contact” with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. Tusk has called for an emergency meeting of the council of ministers at 8 a.m., a government spokesman said.

Poland’s military command said drones repeatedly violated Polish airspace during the Russian attack across the border, in western Ukraine, but that operations against these violations had now concluded.. .

. . .“Some of the drones that entered our airspace were shot down. Searches and efforts to locate the potential crash sites of these objects are ongoing,” it said in a statement.

It urged people to stay at home, naming the regions of Podlaskie, Mazowieckie, and Lublin as most at risk, adding: “This is an act of aggression that posed a real threat to the safety of our citizens.”

. . .NATO has yet to comment on the incident. Since the war started in 2022, there have been several incidents of Russian drones entering the airspace of states bordering Ukraine, including Poland and Romania, but they have so far avoided shooting them down. Officials have cited the physical danger that such actions could cause and a desire to avoid an escalation in tensions between Russia and NATO.

Back here in the US-of-A, I posted a poll yesterday by our good friends at the estimable Heartland Institute in conjunction with Rasmussen about the sentiments of young voters that is disturbing in their attitudes about the direction of the nation.

And the beat goes on as Heartland/Rasmussen has released a couple more polls that are painting a rather frightening picture of the future political landscape of America. One of them is again in the lead.

Heartland/Rasmussen Poll: 59% of Young Voters Support Income Caps, 40% Support Penalties for Free Speech, and 59% Support UN Authority Over the United States

There are polls and then there are polls as we know all too well. Over the past few months, I have also reported on polls that seem to indicate just the opposite; a very significant shift of the youth vote away from the Left and and heavily towards the Right if not towards Trump/MAGA him/itself.

The contradictory nature of these polls is something that both CBD and I will raise with our very special guest, Jim Lakely the Comms director at Heartland on the upcoming podcast that will post a bit later today, so stay tuned for that.

While we're on that subject, we also have the Democrat Party itself seemingly tearing itself apart over the rise of this horrid scumbag Zohran Mamdani likely to be installed into Gracie Mansion as NYC's next mayor largely with the votes (legit and otherwise) of a sizable number of the city's youth, far too many of the self-gassing apostate Jews-by birth only and other fools, degenerates and the usual gang of idiots aka registered Democrats. This despite some pretty loud protests from very well-known Democrat pollsters, pols and pundits who see him and see disaster for their party. But, do they have it wrong? Is in-your-face socialism/Communism the future unmasked face of the Democrat Party?

On that note, John Fetterman, the improbable and at first glance laughable Democrat senator from Pennsylvania who we once derided as Lumpy, continues to pleasantly surprise me with his rationality and sanity in the face of the vile insanity of the positions that his party has embraced not just of late but historically in its unslakable thirst for absolute power and control.

First was his full-throated and unwavering support of the state of Israel and unequivocal condemnation of Hamas in the wake of the latter's terrorist mass wave assault and subsequent dark age savagery across southern Israel on 10/7. His words were the diametric opposite of much of the rest of his party, save for its leadership who at best knew that they had to fake even a tepid support of Israel to preserve the Jewish voting bloc and stave off the rusty hacksaws of the Hamas-niks of the "SQUAD" and their ilk.

And with that, I give you this latest gem from the Junior Senator from Pennsylvania:

Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) criticized Democrats who have been warming up to and embracing socialism while dismissing capitalism, describing them as “morons.”

. . . “Senator, there’s a Gallup poll that was released that 42 percent of Democrat voters view capitalism favorably, while 66 percent of Democrat voters view socialism favorably. Do you think that’s a messaging issue for Democrats?” a reporter asked.

“Oh, that’s a great, it’s a great question,” Fetterman responded. “I literally was in a former communist nation, and I asked that. I said, ‘Some people in my party, some of the lefties are talking about socialism now. What do you think?’ And he’s like, ‘That’s the worst thing ever. You would never want to live here, I’ve lived through that kind of a thing. You’re going to need a reality check if you ever adopt any of those things. You know, like, you are morons. It’s like, it was a nightmare for us, and now we are a free market nation.’ It was Croatia.”

. . . Fetterman continued to note that people in Croatia were “mystified” why Americans are “even having that conversation in our nation.”

Obviously not "morons" in the Ace of Spades HQ sense of the word but literal morons.

In a conversation with a friend of mine about the polls, while not dismissing them entirely, he did say that when more of Trump's economic policies kick in, many of these youthful poll respondents might have a very different view of things as their personal situations improve along with the rest of the nation.

It's a fair point, but that said the constant media and cultural drumbeat of "capitalism and Trump evil" along with at least 3 generations of propagandizing from Pre-K through Post-Grad has done quite a bit of damage and warped many minds along the way, as we are all too painfully aware.

And lastly, a quick shout-out and thank you for your continued support in hitting our tip jar. It truly is appreciated more than you can know.

When (not if) the left regains the levers of power you can bet your very last dollar this will be the direction of the country... at warp speed. With mechanisms in place to keep it that way.

Plan accordingly. Or act soon. Later you won't be given a choice. But, at least the Democrats are spelling out exactly what to expect... as they do.

24 VA special election yesterday (almost 75-25 D-R in a district not THAT split) shows how this VA election is likely to go. In VA, Ds are energized and Rs are not...so even with the good news of Ds statewide imploding, it's likely not going to matter enough.

As I've said, job and unemployment numbers are currently false here b/c of the way feds were let go (aka, still not actually considered "unemployed" yet, even now) and even with them not in the number, VA is worse than last year...especially in NoVa...and jobs determine most elections...an energized NoVa sweeps VA for Ds...an energized rest of VA (which is not having the jobs problem) sweeps VA for Rs...we only have the former right now...

My spouse and I did vote for the R b/c he was a good guy...maybe in a future tilt a couple years down the line, he can stand a chance...

I always take these kinds of polls with a grain of salt, just because young people are ignorant and reality slaps most of them in the face as they grow and mature.

But I'd be remiss if I didn't say I feel extreme alarm at this. If these answered questions, and the % of young people are really represented here as a whole, we have big problems coming our way in the next few short decades. It's a Kiss America Goodbye foreboding.

The longer this war drags on, the more risk that something like this will lead to a NATO member being attacked, accidentally, intentionally, or a false flag.

I still think Trump should just wash his hands of it all, and let the EU deal with this. They obviously don’t want it to end as much as Zelenskyy, so let them deal with the consequences.

Would it obliterate Trump? People know that things are getting better. If SCOTUS undoes something that Trump did and then everything goes into the shitter, seems like that would vindicated Trump - even more - and might light a fire under the asses of the asses in Congress to do their fucking jobs.

That is because they have no imagination. They think that the UN is some magical place where only the best people from around the world gather, the giant brains throbbing as they solve exactly none of the world's problems.

It would be almost comical to see people discover that the UN decided that the American people had the right to be taxed into oblivion with the money sent to other countries and no longer had the right to amend the Constitution without the permission of the UN.

85 I presume that Trump's criticism of the Israeli attack on Hamas in Qatar, and his talking up of Qatar, is disingenuous.

Undoubtedly, the US really needs the large military base we have there, so that's why he said what he said. There will be no sanctions against Israel for it, and I have to wonder just how "unilateral" the attack really was.

Seems like I've heard Qatar has been sponsoring terrorism over the years. Trump knows they're not nice guys, but his whole career has been based on the recognition that to be successful, you often have to deal effectively with people you don't like.

Naomi Epps Best, a former marriage and family therapy graduate student at Santa Clara University (SCU), has spent the last few months reporting on the astonishing high degree of ideological capture within her field of study at the school.

“Just confirmed: Santa Clara U trains therapy students to give ‘gender-affirming’ counseling to kids as young as 5 at a state-funded clinic that hands out free binders and does affirming garment fittings with no parent consent required,” wrote Best on X.

Nah. This won't be the vehicle to kill Humphrey's.

Cook's case clearly doesn't apply. Trump's firing of her is within the context of the written statute that established the Federal Reserve that gives the president power to fire governors for cause.

There's another case, a fired FTC commissioner, Rebecca Slaughter, who's suing to keep her job. Humphrey's Executor was decided based on FDR's firing of an FTC commissioner in the 30s. It's the perfect vehicle.

The DC Circuit will probably kill the Cook injunction within a day or so.

156 "Is in-your-face socialism/Communism the future unmasked face of the Democrat Party?"

For me, yes, that is where the Democrat Party is headed. There is a case that can be made that the Squad is the tip of the spear of a generational and ideological shift in the Democrat Party. The leadership is feeble and essentially, at its core, is still using an ossified 1960s issues playbook, all be it with bolted on Socialist/Communist sops to this radical younger generation. The Democrat leadership is ripe to be overthrown by an impatient younger generation that are Socialist/Communist to the core and have every intention of filling that power vacuum.

I lean towards the notion this is a done situation. This raises serious concerns about how this negatively impacts the core tenets that make the USA the USA. The bigger question is are they the seed of something that will take hold and then take over or are they a bunch of noisy radicals who are so distasteful that will never gain widespread acceptance. Zohran Mamdani is something of test case that puts direct executive governance control in the hands of the bastards. The visceral reactions he raises reflects this larger dynamic.

Given that NATO abuts Ukraine and that Ukrainian assets could just sit next to the border and declare themselves safe, it would seem that NATO has an interest in maintaining an exclusion zone. This would be like German troops staging raids out of Switzerland during WW2. Once your assets enter the "I can't be attacked here" zone, they have to stay out of the conflict forever or the owner of the zone has decided to enter the war.

What does "this young generation" know different ? They've never seen true capitalism - none of us have. They can afford very little personally while they see a group not very different from the old robber barons consuming quite a bit.

And so, like significant numbers of every generation before them - including yours - they've came to the same suggested remedies. Only this time - they finally call them by the proper names at least.

One reason (I think) why this war goes on is because it's a pretty nifty proving ground for new weapons and tactics. The massive drone strike Ukraine pulled off (with likely US help) on Russia's strategic bomber and recon aircraft fleets was... impressive and unique. It woke up a lot of people to a huge hole in defensive postures at our own military installations.

Same for the unmanned surface vessels and submarines Ukraine's been using with good success at sinking a significant portion of Russia's Black Sea Fleet.

Of course young people are outraged. They have every right to be. But the media and usual suspects have to spend all their time.making sure the young folk don’t start connecting the dots. The focus of their ire must be channeled in the right direction or they are Fooked.

It’s always that way. Humans can change direction at the drop of a hat. Thus no dissent is allowed. It must be 99 per cent control of the Message. That’s why they are all exercised about censorship and the rest of it. They got a tiger by the tail, and it ain’t looking too good.

210 What does "this young generation" know different ? They've never seen true capitalism - none of us have. They can afford very little personally while they see a group not very different from the old robber barons consuming quite a bit.

Posted by: The Way It Is

Your initial comment was about "The Greatest Generation " which I addressed.

This younger generation knows more about general economics of capitalism than did The Greatest Generation. If for no other reason they aren't being nor familiar with a 90% tax rate.

Most every youngster thinks people make too much money. Whether it's Mr Jones the local car dealer in the mid 70s to today's youngsters looking at Gates and Musk.

Once they get their first "occupational" check and realize WTF, many will figure it out.

People vote with their feet if they can. Seeing the moving patterns tells you they are figuring it out. Albeit, slowly.

A 91% top marginal rate wasn't. Nor were capital gains taxes. Or inheritance taxes.

238 Under Joe Biden, or whoever was running the country between 2021 and 2024, over 470,000 unaccompanied migrant children waltzed into the country. Many of these kids promptly vanished into a bureaucratic black hole. Since then, in a move both heroic and horrifyingly necessary, the Trump administration has located over 22,000 of these kids, arrested 400 traffickers, and uncovered the grim reality that 27 children met tragic ends through murder, overdose, or suicide. Yes, Epstein’s operation was a master class in depravity, but Biden’s border policies might just take the cake, and it’s a moldy, taxpayer-funded one at that.

No they haven't. Yemen used to be two countries in the Cold War, N. Yemen and S. Yemen. Houthis seized power in N. Yemen but a shell civilian government still exists there. Basically Yemen is tribal and the Houthis are a Shiite tribe while most of the rest of the tribes in Yemen are Sunni.

Houthis were nuisance goat rapers in the wilderness until Iran armed them to act as a catspaw to launch missiles at the Saudis and later to harass traffic in the Red Sea. Destroy Iran's ability to supply the Houthis (sea and air) and you destroy any real power the Houthis have to bother anyone other than goats.

If you want an iPhone 17 and can afford it, then you alone make the personal decision whether it’s worth it to buy it. Need has nothing to do with it.

Std modern day libertarianism---open borders so open flow of workers, open flow of capital, and open flow of goods. Corporate agenda basically with little relation to our economic experiences post WWII.

Thus utopian with little relation to facts on the ground. Basically theory dictates facts fallacy because of a basic presupposition of 'good' and 'rational' human nature.

Like communism, theory comes first and human experiences not in accordance to theory either is dismissed as not valid or the true theory has never been applied. There is a reason that you cannot point to any true 'libertarian' country--the closest you can get is places where government does not exist. Same is technically true of communism but if you consider communism as a way for a new elite to replace the old one, then you end up in despotism like with Stalin or oppression by an corrupt oligarchy misnamed as a democratic republic (E. Germany for example)

I am sympathetic to libertarianism and think it does work on an individual to individual level corrected by experiences but it simply does not scale up well to the level of nations. That is why I prefer small is beautiful in relations to society and government. Government policy should be driven by the lowest level possible for a task. You might even call this Madisonian (leaving aside Fed 46) as a compound republic.

Then, and this is where I depart from principles into pragmatism---there has to be some overarching dispute resolution mechanisms between the levels of government to prevent small tyrannies (such as a small HOA run amuck or that ordinary citizens are terrorized by criminal thugs in Charlotte NC riding the rail).

This comes from my recognition that humanity is not basically good and we are made up of crooked timber so any political system has to recognize that reality with circuit breakers. Aka If men were angels, no government would be necessary.

The President already has that power, they simply don't like his reasoning and interpretation and absent clear statutory guidance, who are the courts to say his reasoning and interpretation are not valid?

If congress doesn't like the unitary executives reasoning and interpretation, they are free to pass legislation clarifying or constraining the executive.

Yes, Senator Fetterman is about the only bright spot in the otherwise terribly dreary world of SE Pennsylvania.

We've got needed profit hospital sites ran into the ground to make way for investors who pickup property on the (very) cheap & get amazingly low area tax valuations for years.

Partnership(s) to build neighborhood/micro hospitals with holding company(ies) that generates revenue through fee-for-service billing from patients, insurance reimbursements, and strategic partnerships with local hospitals and health systems around the country.

Think your hospitals are all non-profit? Look again at the groups' partnership(s).

333 Regarding the Houston imam boycotting Muslim stores that don’t operate as he sees fit-

If:

1) he can claim the authority of the Muslim prophet by simply declaring himself an imam, with no credentialing and while remaining answerable to no ecclesiastical hierarchy; and

2) he can interpret Islam in such a way that he can use his self-proclaimed authority to demand that his co-religionists stop their lawful productive activities which they rely upon to serve their communities and feed their families; and

3) his co-religionists cling to the tenets of that religion such that they are either duty-bound to do as he says and hence diminish their opportunities, or otherwise be seen as apostates in their own community…

…then what’s the problem?

As he says in the video, “This is America…” He’s not hassling Jews, Catholics, Protestants, or atheists, or anyone else but his co-religionists. The store owners can choose.

To them, I’d quote the words of a famous fictional Crusader, ”Choose wisely.”

334 Fetterman is a classic Union Democrat. Knows that the company is trying to screw the working man, but with the Union, it can be taken care of. In the 30's and 40's, unions were definitely Socialist/Communist in philosophy, but by the mid-50's the US unions had figured out that the way to play the game was to play a 3 corner game -company, union, government - rather than the obvious failures of far-left governments which had to.much power and screwed everyone.
That describes Fetterman. Don't mistake his support in these areas for a switch to libertarian/conservative views. He's still a big government guy.

Look at who is on the board, and look at the Doctors who have some sort of controlling/management positions (the ones that control who gets to admit patients.
