Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | The Bureau of Labor Statistics Has Now Erased 1.7 Million "Jobs" They Claimed Were Created Under Biden (and the First Two Months of Trump's Term)First they erased 818,000 jobs they claimed Biden created. Job numbers that were used to claim that Biden was managing a "Miracle Economy" which was the glory of the world. And now, they've "corrected" these propaganda numbers again, erasing another 900,000 phantom "jobs." These numbers go from Biden's last year through March. I think we can say that these "corrections" are mostly about Biden. And it's time to start talking about criminal investigations. Deep Staters rob taxpayers of their money in order to fund psyops against the taxpayers. It's the second year in a row for massive downward revisions, Washington Post econ reporter Heather Long points out. The new numbers show that the US economy added around 75K a month, well below the maintenance level in relation to population growth, for a full year before Trump started imposing new tariffs on trade...
Either this is incompetence, or it's corruption. There are no other explanations for consistent misses of this magnitude for two full years with no effective corrections. The election was rigged. Period. This was a coup. And the "election fortifiers" need to go to prison just like the J6ers did. Update:

The problem with that, though, is that people kind of...don't care about it on any real level. Their opinion of the economy is mostly handled at the local level. If you live in a town where the one plant shut down and everyone left and it's a desolate wasteland, most people in that town will think the economy is terrible, even if the rest of the country is genuinely going through some kind of golden age. Apply that to fake numbers saying everything is great but everyone looks out and sees more illegals, high prices on everything, and stagnant job markets all at the same time, it doesn't matter what the fake numbers say. Posted by: TheJamesMadison ------- I rate that is largely true. Did some research way back when on gubernatorial races and neither national nor state unemployment were significant as factors but local unemployment reported through REIS was highly significant (and a sizable effect as well). On national offices, you do get more of the national influence on unemployment stats but only for retrospective voters (aka punish the bastards), not prospective voters. No one really knows much about state unemployment or income stats because that reporting is buried. So the proxy for a state's economy is simply what voters see around them--closed businesses, local layoffs, people moving out, etc. Posted by: whig at September 09, 2025 02:55 PM (WDjG6) 68

After several back and forths, I discovered, through their admissions of their own research, and through documents they extracted as an outcome of their tasks to prove the merit of their claims, that someone *inside* Twitter had created a fictitious identity of me associated with the networks and communications as the investigators described them. Think about what was discovered here. Someone inside the Twitter platform, an employee of Twitter or a person who had the ability to access their administrative system (ie. FBI), had made a decision to target me. As a result: (a) they had been doing this for a long time with a specific goal in mind; and (b) they created an elaborate trail of background activity and identity that was entirely fabricated. I mean, they are routine since Obama got into office, and they started doing *annual* revisions the following year. Normally for a Dem in the WH they add about 400k fake jobs a month for the "birth-death adjustment", which is the assumption that a growing population must result in new jobs so they just pencil whip them in there. For Biden some months had as many as 800k fake jobs added. But this isn't new for Biden, this was part of how they hid the depression during Obama's terms. If a business fudged it's numbers even a degree of what liberals do with job numbers, you'd have Democrats screaming for them to be fined and imprisoned (and if the Dems were in power they'd actually try to accomplish it, unless they received their bribes) but Democrats can completely lie about such things in order to benefit themselves (and actually manipulate the stock market since these numbers do affect stocks) and there's never a consequence. Posted by: JackStraw ======= I did the numbers once way back in 2020-21--my guess is that Biden genuinely received about 61-62 million actual ballots--mebbe 50-55 million votes when you separate out vote harvesting, ballot stuffing, vote discarding (GOP votes) and vote buying common in blue urban areas. Thinking about playing around with precinct level data in selected areas from 2020-2022 using some statistics likely to show fraud. Depends on whether I can manage the data entry nowadays due to health problems. Also have a very old NACO survey of how votes were tabulated circa 2001 or so--this county level data source might be interesting if the same precincts were compared using same statistical fraud measures in that era with voting method being the obvious comparison for fraud incidence. At this point it is either being done on purpose or by sheer incompetence. Either way anyone remotely involved with anything having to do with job numbers needs to be fired and we need to start over. There is one thing I am certain of, if there are numbers involved the government will capture those numbers because the government exists to count things and the way it is happening now is broken and we need outside eyes on the process to repair or replace it. Ogleby,
Most of that 180 trillion is an extrapolation based on estimates of potential liabilities, not actually debt per se. It presupposes that those liabilities are sacrosanct but that is unlikely. Things like medicare, medicaid, social security pensions from fedgov, etc can be abrogated because they are NOT considered by courts as enforceable by those receiving them. Essentially past Congress cannot limit a future Congress from changing the law to eliminate a liability. Posted by: whig's phone at September 09, 2025 03:25 PM (WDjG6) 213

Cheer up, we have probably been in a depression since 2007, just papered over by money creation and hidden by revisions to the data.
—— Wages have been stagnant since 1974, the balance of trade went negative then, too. The national government is in the hole by $38 Trillion, with another $100 Trillion in so-called “unfunded mandates”. If you’re wondering what those mean, they mean “You”. The whole thing is twistedand only possible because of the USD as “reserve currency” allowing for the export of monetary inflation to some degree, and the hollowing out of our economy and infrastructure. When it blows up it will be Biblical. Don’t be fooled because it hasn’t happened yet, “slowly at first, then all at once”. These sorts of calamities historically happen literally overnight. “Like lightning it struck” they said in Europe in the 20s. I believe them. I am so relieved to no longer be teaching. In physics, students need homework problems to really learn the material: there just isn’t enough classroom time to have the students, all the students, work problems in class. I used some methods that got students thinking about the day’s lesson in class, but they still needed time on their own to work demanding problems. I think it would be mostly cheating these days. A recitation session, where problems are set and worked in class with an in-class quiz at the end is a viable solution, but one many departments did not budget for.

Poaching:
The Federal Reserve was created to care for and protect the fortunes of the wealthiest Americans and their bankers. The gauges used to determine rates are pegged to aggregate data that is skewed by the fortunes of the wealthy. ... ,,,the 'Establishment' is squirming like no other period in memory. They control all the levers of influence & continue to lose. They will never stop trying to put things back in place which means wealth accumulation is skewed in favor of the wealthy. Barriers disguised as good deeds keep the masses corralled in a pool of self-doubt, content with keeping up with the Jones' via high credit card bills and living paycheck to paycheck. To break the system individuals must establish their own priorities. Inflation is more dollars chasing fewer goods and services.
Low interest rates will enable small companies, the drivers of job creation, to borrow and increase the the size of the labor market thus increasing the amount of goods and services which will balance the lower rates. Posted by: Braenyard - some Absent Friends are more equal than others _ at September 09, 2025 03:41 PM (xnok+) Increasing the credit availability by lowering the rate just blows the bubble higher and will cause a deeper end to the business cycle. Look, easy credit plus government spending, plus the closure of the gold window by Nixon is what sparked the inflation in the 70's, and that was with nice rates. What got the infaltion under control was the higher rates, which were onerous. I am going to point out that you are arguing the Keynes/Samuelson view of economics, and I am arguing Austrian school, so I don't expect a lot of closure here in this argument. Noninflationary job growth The strong 303,000 payrolls gain in March reinforced the Fed’s cautious approach toward rate cuts, as some Fed officials see job growth as being too hot for comfort. Our take, however, is that the details of the jobs report offered welcome signs that labor demand and supply are better balanced with the labor force participation rate rebounding and wage growth easing. Notwithstanding strong immigration flows, we foresee softer labor market conditions with cooler hiring, targeted layoffs and continued moderation in wage growth. We expect job growth to slow below trend over the course of the year and see the unemployment rate rising to 4.1% by year-end. ... all a lie Posted by: SMOD at September 09, 2025 04:04 PM (RHGPo) 396

The amount of funny money QE injected into the economy was around 6% of the GNP -- and this while, by their stats, the economy was showing to be growing at about 2%. That is, Treasury buried a 4% economic decline (recession) through their machinations. The magic Negro must not be allowed to fail. Posted by: LCMS Rulz! at September 09, 2025 05:37 PM (bufu1) 408
