With Pro-Trans Democrats Threatening a Return of Jim Crow, Can Pete Buttigieg’s Black Support Go Lower than 0%?

In a recent poll of Democrat primary voters regarding whom they favor as their 2028 presidential candidate, Pete Buttigieg is the leader. Mr. Buttigieg is famous for being gay, of course. His sexual orientation and LGBTQ advocacy were pretty much the only qualifications the Biden administration could come up with for making the mayor of a small city the nation’s Transportation Secretary. Regarding that poll, among black voters, “Mayor Pete” is the choice of 0%. Zero point zero percent!

Meanwhile, Virginia is electing a new governor in November. The Democrat candidate, Abigail Spanberger, is a candidate who represents the base of her party and is an ally of the trans movement and all of its worst extremes, including the right for men to have access to women’s restrooms and allowing boys to play in girls’ sports. The Republican candidate, Winsome Earle-Sears, is a black woman who is running a spirited campaign, focusing heavily on Spanberger’s support for granting men access to women’s spaces if those men identify as “trans.” Ms. Earle Sears is also the current Lt. Governor of Virginia, having been elected in 2021 in the same election when Republican Glenn Youngkin was elected governor.

The Democrats’ base, for whom the trans agenda is a foundational issue, are viciously fighting back against Ms. Earle-Sears. When Winsome spoke at an Arlington School Board meeting a few weeks ago on the issue of allowing boys access to girls’ locker rooms, the Democrats’ trans activists showed up to protest her. It hardly needs to be pointed out that the trans activists were exclusively white. But because Winsome is black, the white Democrats had an original message to send her.

A woman who has been identified as a Democrat activist and volunteer in the Spanberger campaign held up a sign reading, ”Hey Winsome, if trans can’t share your bathroom, then blacks can’t share my water fountain.”

This sign was so offensive that I first wondered if it might be a false-flag effort by someone on the right to harm the Spanberger campaign. But it was, in fact, an actual Spanberger supporter advocating for a return to legal segregation for black Americans if they dare to disagree with the Democrats’ white, liberal base on the trans issue.

When a local TV station inquired about her racist call for a return to racial segregation, the woman defended her sign as satire.

This picture below is Arlington County Democratic Party ~~chairman~~ chairthey/them Steve Baker advising the woman that her sign is not sending a helpful message.

Ms. Earle-Sears offered this response: "I’m disgusted, but not surprised. This is the “tolerant” left Abigail Spanberger defends. I’m the sitting Lieutenant Governor, second in command in the former Capitol of the confederate states. I’m an immigrant, a Marine, and above all, a human being. There is no place for this disgusting hatred in our Commonwealth. Anyone who doesn’t condemn this sign is complicit in approving it."

Circling back to Pete Buttigieg’s 0% support. While it is not my place to speak on behalf of black Americans, I understand that fatigue with left-wing “white saviors” helped Donald Trump receive a record number of black votes in the 2024 presidential race. With those white saviors now effectively threatening, “If men can’t walk in on little girls using the restroom, then let’s bring back Jim Crow,” this doesn’t bode well for any candidate shackled to the 20% side of this 80/20 issue. Can support for the LGBTQ candidate, Pete Buttigieg, drop below 0% among black Americans?

The damage this “Give us trans bathrooms or bring back Jim Crow” episode has done to the rift between white LGBTQ activists and black Americans is immense. Robert Johnson, the founder of BET (Black Entertainment Television), has donated $500,000 to Ms. Earle-Sears gubernatorial campaign.

I have always been a good investor and that’s why I’m investing in you,” Mr. Johnson told Ms. Earle-Sears, according to her campaign.

Godspeed to Winsome Earle-Sears - a Christian, a veteran, and a great American. May providence, and the voters, make the Virigina Executive Mansion the next stop on her amazing journey.

As for Pete Buttigieg, I also wish him great success in his expected run for the 2028 Democrat presidential nomination. With Buttigieg on top of the Democrat ticket, the Republican candidate would have a great opportunity to show that the conservative agenda is in alignment with a growing coalition of minority voters and their values.

With Democrat presidents beholden to the climate cult, and with Obama / Biden appointing “renewable energy” zealots to the TVA board, it is imperative that control of the TVA be detached from Washington DC. There is much pushback against privatization, however, from those who believe the future of the TVA can continue to look like its past. It can’t. Anti-carbon Democrats won’t allow it.

But there is another option – transferring ownership of the TVA to the seven states that receive electricity from it.

Despite years of agitation from anti-carbon activists and Obama- and Biden-era appointees, the TVA’s power mix has remained overwhelmingly carbon-based — for one reason: It works. “Renewable” energy sources (primarily solar) only constitute about 4% of its total electricity production. And, as always, solar energy drops to zero at night.
Moving ownership — and board appointments — to the seven primarily red states that rely on the TVA would ensure that green activists can’t destroy its ability to provide inexpensive, reliable electricity, while also maintaining the TVA’s status as a public utility.

In a place like NYC where Ds win by 50%, what is the purpose of fraud? I absolutely agree that Dems cheat. But they cheat to turn 2% losses into 2% wins. They don’t cheat to turn 40% wins into 50% wins.

I agree with you completely! Those on our side have begun to wake up to the massive amounts of fraud in our electoral system - but I still think we underestimate it by an order of magnitude. We just cannot grasp that "honest" elections simply do not happen in minority/ghetto districts.

In a place like NYC where Ds win by 50%, what is the purpose of fraud? I absolutely agree that Dems cheat. But they cheat to turn 2% losses into 2% wins. They don’t cheat to turn 40% wins into 50% wins.

So in deep blue inner cities in deep blue states like NY, I just don’t buy the fraud argument.

State polling is almost universally shitty and that is because any faults of a national poll get accentuated as you shrink the sampling frame to a state. Difficult to get a great picture of the electorate from media polls with a sample size of 600 or so.

To get the subgroups properly measured for weighting, one would do better with oversampling plus a larger sample size than most US presidential polls aka somewhere around 2000 or so.

Instead, watch whether Trump gets into the race or other top GOP types like Vance. They won't jump in unless the race is close and they have far better private polling data than we do sitting at home reading awful media polls that automatically give the Dems an edge.

Spanberger is running commercials 24 hours a day on every cable network and even the most obscure stuff you would see on Roku. Every commercial break you get a Spanberger commercial. She doesn’t actually say anything. Her entire campaign is to not say anything and she doesn’t plan to debate.

The problem for Winsome Sears is Maga is not going out for her and the milquetoast Youngkin is not spending much time on her campaign. The press has her locked out. If she were a democrat, she would be on the front page of everything she would be the first black female governor of any southern state in history. But she has an R in front of her name so she might as well not even exist.

The way things are going Virginians should’ve not even wasted their time and voted for Youngkin, it was a delaying action with no follow up. I am still waiting for Trump to reduce the federal government government around DC. If you don’t change that, nothing is going to change.

Markets are probably the worst predictors going right now--that is because they are thinly traded making them very susceptible to organized rigging by strategic buys. They too have been corrupted.

Furthermore, in state races, versus national, you get a lot more surprises simply because common knowledge doesn't always play well. Too many people, even if honest, on political betting markets are swayed by momentum calls--not the actual facts underlying the race. Like derivatives, they are a shadow of the real thing and should be treated with caution because of it.

Simply put, my heuristic is unless I am personally involved in a campaign with data, most things people spout off are simply derivations of media coverage. I have no idea who will win in VA, the state has leaned traditionally to Dems since Kaine's election as gov. But then again, neither do all the political analysts that rely on secondary data to make calls. The real experts are in the campaigns and DNC/RNC and they aren't saying much.

Off-year elections trend towards lower turnout (2021 saw 55% turnout while 2020 saw 72%) which favor the super voter rather than the less frequent ones (super voters are now predominantly Democrat, a switch from about 2012 when they were mostly GOP).

Trump is attacking NOVA through budget restrictions, especially in the grant space, so how that sorts out will affect things. Like, his actions lead to 100,000 firings and they leave the state, does that affect things? He fires 100,000, and they're already loyal Democrats and they stay, does that affect things?

I just think VA is going to be particularly hard to model for pollsters even trying to do the right thing.

They very probably blew the call which is not surprising. Witnesses around the scene said he didn't and that the ball was loose. And the video is inconclusive. So the question is what is the best evidence--likely to be the witnesses around the situation, not the announcers viewing from afar.

And fwiw, now the video is out, people are going over it frame by frame and coming up with inconclusive--some say yes, more say no and thus the tie breaker goes to the witnesses if this was a court case.

That would be considered speculation in court btw. Knowing what is in someone else's mind is not really something humans do very well at.

This is simply one of those things where we probably will never know exactly who had what and when. But the Karen ended up the loser and the kid became the winner. Karen being greedy and confrontational on camera is never a good look and the father giving up the ball was the right thing to do for his family.

And technically Karen committed assault. So she has that going for her as well. That sort of idiocy gets people into trouble often in court cases because they cannot and have not been trained to hold their anger in check. A simple shove, the victim goes down and hits their head, suddenly it becomes aggravated assault or even manslaughter. Courts are full of these avoidable cases.

I recall seeing video of a college football player with big prospects in the pros hanging out in a college bar when a white woman walked up to him, yelled at him and then smacked him.

In my view, any sort of physical altercation over something trivial like a friggin baseball is simply stupidity on parade. Then, there is Christianity which commands turn the other cheek in such situations. Do not create or worsen personal confrontations just over the matter of 'disrespect'.

Double that if you attack a female in public on screen. You will lose all for a momentary thrill, "I Won!!, I was Right!!!'. Woo Hoo!!!."

What he taught his kids was: give in to the crazy woman and you get what you want. And that is a horrible lesson for those kids. In a later interview you get the distinct impression that they have little to no respect for the man, and I think his pathetic reaction to her is not an isolated event.
