US Military Drone-Strikes a Tren de Aragua Drug Smuggling Boat and the Pro-Crime, Pro-Terrorism Left Is Angry

Trump gave the Pentagon the order that drug smugglers' boats were no longer to have their engines shot out and their crews rescued and arrested, but were to be vaporized.

Good.

President Trump shared dramatic footage of the US military obliterating a boat carrying drugs and Tren de Aragua gangbangers off the coast of Venezuela on Tuesday.
The video showed the small boat being blown out of international waters and exploding into flames after it was struck by a single missile, killing all aboard.
Trump said the boat was occupied by 11 "Tren de Aragua Narcoterrorists" and was en route to the US when it was blown to smithereens.
"TDA is a designated Foreign Terrorist Organization, operating under the control of Nicolas Maduro, responsible for mass murder, drug trafficking, sex trafficking, and acts of violence and terror across the United States and Western Hemisphere," Trump wrote on Truth Social.
"No U.S. Forces were harmed in this strike. Please let this serve as notice to anybody even thinking about bringing drugs into the United States of America. BEWARE!"

Trump in late August deployed three guided-missile destroyers and about 4,000 Marines to the Venezuelan coast -- prompting Maduro, the country's authoritarian left-wing leader, to mobilize millions of militia members and claim an invasion was imminent.
The Trump administration has branded the Cuba-aligned strongman, in power since 2013, as a drug cartel leader and fugitive from justice.
The US government in early August offered a $50 million reward for information leading to Maduro's arrest.

Marco Rubio says that this kind of operation -- designed to simply kill, not capture -- will be "the norm" going forward, because capturing drug terrorists and "narcoterrorists" just hasn't worked. He says it in Spanish so we'll just have to go by the translation.

Attacks like the one launched against 11 drug traffickers from the Aragua Train will become the norm, warns Marco Rubio. He says seizures no longer work because the cartels have taken them for granted and continue their criminal operations.

Tom Homan similarly says that this will be America's new posture against the nacrotrafficking cartels. He says both that Trump intends to "put them out of business" and "wipe them off of the face of the earth," and promises attacks "worldwide."

Meanwhile, the DOJ has captured tons of precursor chemicals for making methamphetamine.

And the Chinese communist government is implicated.

This is fully within the CiNC powers and the courts don’t have the power to stop it. Especially once TdA was declared a FTO. That means all military options are on the table within a completely new ROE. Previously, when the CG was doing most of the interdiction we had an escalating UOF. They were actually using the de minimus exception to directly ship drugs etc. Now that is gone which means they have to switch modes.

All we have to do in response is every container coming from China gets anally probed by inspectors. It discourages companies from making shit in China due to delays, etc. security costs can be assessed on those Chinese imports to cover inspections making teh Chinese government more willing to clamp down on the assholes to permit the rest of their cargoes to escape this fate, and as the virtuous loop continues, means that the ops will have to move to other countries more vulnerable to US pressure.

I'd argue they do have excuses. A lot of the mismanagement and corruption that has impoverished them is directly related to soviet and chinese communist actions.

They supported a huge number of terrorist "revolutionaries" whose actual purpose was to reduce our influence over the continent. Columbia is still fighting communists and nearly every South American government has had to deal with a huge socialist political element that was artificially introduced to destabilize their countries.

China is at the very least turning a blind eye if not outright actively supporting the drug cartels because they know the more Americans consume their products the weaker our country gets. Mexico is in a bind--from reports, one out of ten Mexicans are involved with the cartels as far as drugs (trafficking, manufacturing, importing, transporting) human trafficking, money laundering, bribed public officials, and weapons trade.

At the same time, cartels are getting hit from the loss of transporting illegal fees, less remitances to pay back trafficking debts, and probably loss of drugs in the pipeline, increased costs for obtaining them, etc.

Sucks to be in Mexico as the innocents are going to be punished with the bad uns. Same as Canada. Both have essentially weaponized human shields in order to cover dirty deeds for their elites and criminals.

Legalities take time as in being able to make the charges stick via investigations. Meanwhile self deportation numbers are beginning to roll up to noticeable effect. The major lure all along was being able to do crimes and dance across borders, financial benefits given to them via government money, and employment. Employers are getting skittish other than the small fry, removing the bennies gets rid of the looter types (as in FHA is now excluding illegals from Section 8, etc.) and focusing leo attention on criminals means less Americans assaulted, raped, drugged, and humans trafficked.

You always start small in government policy and show success before widening it. Trump is doing just that. Especially against the massive resistance some states are doing that hasn't been seen since Brown v. Board of Education or the Reconstruction Era.

Trump is doing a Monty Desert Campaign this go around--set piece battles on ground of his choosing and the left is falling back as their organization and logistics are getting hammered.

The problem with drug manufacturing is that you have to centralize it to make money--back in the alkie days, Treasury agents followed where the stuff was made tracking inputs and and where teh bootleg came out. That indicates where the booze was distilled. No still, no booze. Fentanyl and to some extent crystal meth nowadays are centralized factories that can be hit from afar. Easier than playing whack a mole with boats but that too can be used.

Because war always gets a vote. Low vis, covert strikes could be successful. A cartel boss goes on vacation, rendition his ass. Train vetted Mexican military units. Use Naval interdiction. But any kind of stand up fight with cartels is going to be very bloody. These people are peerless savages, and it would be fighting the richest insurgency ever. We worked in Colombia with a government that was on our side and a citizenry that had had enough. I don't think we've got that in Mexico.
