One of my tricks is instead of just using bread crumbs/oatmeal as an extender/ stabilizer, I add some ground up fresh mushrooms.

I don't know that number but I do know Dem states that think they can gerrymander even more need to rethink that. It's the Dems who initiated gerrymandering a long time ago, carving out bizarre-shaped districts to help minorities win seats in Congress.

My District is northern Queens/the South Bronx. Two areas separated by a body of water and with nothing in common. The rep before AOC, Joe Crowley, was from the Queens part. Sandy is from Westchester, a little farther north of The South Bronx, but close enough I guess.

Sorry, it is not that sinister. She was checking into the hospital. It is easier to care for the kitten here where we can keep him entertained and socialized. Kittens don't deal well with isolation and boredom.

It can be depressing, but there is reason for hope. If for no other reason, we have a whole new generation being raised with the curtain pulled back. They can see what's being done, and have a healthy disdain for the institutions that have been front and center in the control operations.

Or I'm being too idealistic about it. I don't know. I don't expect anything coming out of Washington to be the answer. I just don't. But maybe the kids save us.

To be fair, though, it will be because Trump plays power politics, and Massie and Paul are still playing "consensus" rules.

Trump appears to be running multiple lines at the same time, the way a hotel and casino magnate would run his empire.
I think these were actual disasters, skillfully exploited.

Which is another way of saying, Congress is a dysfunctional institution, that can't be reformed. Obviously Massie pisses off a lot of people who want Team Trump to just run with things, unimpeded, but of course that's not how government is SUPPOSED to work.
