Trump: We Should Prosecute George and Alex Soros for Funding Violent Riots

It's an idea, though I imagine they fund groups who in turn fund groups who in turn fund the violent extremists.

Just like Fauci employing multiple cut-out subgrantees to fund the creation of covid-19 in China.

In other words: They'd never be able to prove the case, and don't even get me started on Blue City Juries.

President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that progressive megadonor George Soros and his son "should be charged with RICO" for supporting "violent protests" across the U.S.

"George Soros, and his wonderful Radical Left son, should be charged with RICO because of their support of Violent Protests, and much more, all throughout the United States of America," Trump posted on Truth Social.

"We're not going to allow these lunatics to rip apart America any more, never giving it so much as a chance to 'BREATHE,' and be FREE," he added. "Soros, and his group of psychopaths, have caused great damage to our Country! That includes his Crazy, West Coast friends. Be careful, we're watching you! Thank you for your attention to this matter!"

Soros has donated, often through nonprofits, to various progressive causes. He has also supported the campaigns of progressive district attorneys across the country.

A spokesperson from Soros' Open Society Foundations told Just the News in a statement on Wednesday: "These accusations are outrageous and false. The Open Society Foundations do not support or fund violent protests. Our mission is to advance human rights, justice, and democratic principles at home and around the world. We stand for fundamental freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution, including the rights to free speech and peaceful protest that are hallmarks of any vibrant democracy."

Soros funded the pro-Hamas organization with the outrageously fake name "Jewish Voices for Peace" that stormed the Capitol just weeks after the 10/7 slaughter of Israelis.

Strangely, DC prosecutors did not charge these paraders and official-business-disruptors with any crimes.

Through Soros's philanthropic work, JVP was awarded several grants totaling $650,000 that bankrolled its "human rights" campaign and "social welfare activities" in the Middle East, according to a grant database maintained by the Soros-funded Open Society Foundations, the central hub of the financier's anti-capitalist, redistributionist network. The Soros-branded Open Society Policy Center Inc. -- once the second-largest spender on federal lobbying after the U.S. Chamber of Commerce -- donated $150,000 and $200,000 in 2021 and 2019, respectively, to the Jewish Voice for Peace Action Incorporated, JVP's tax-exempt 501(c)(3). And, in 2017, Soros's primary grant-giving vehicle, the Foundation to Promote Open Society, gifted JVP $300,000.

As Spencer points out, like its Orwellian title, JVP does not act in good faith. The Jewish-in-name-only JVP is not Jewish, nor is it peace-seeking; JVP is as opportunistically "Jew-ish" as George Santos and as peaceful as the fiery Black Lives Matter protests.

"Deploying its 'Jewish' identity in attacking Israel is JVP's métier, one might say its purpose. The cutting edge of this work [...] is to deflect accusations of anti-Semitism..." Commentary contributor Joshua Muravchik explains in a deep-dive on JVP's duplicitous nature. "Were it not for the strategic advantage of speaking 'as Jews,' it is likely that some of the self-described 'progressive and leftist' activists who constitute JVP's membership would have little interest in belonging to a Jewish organization." Indeed, some JVP's members are not Jews. Rather, it's a collection of radical-left ideologues "who realize that their lineage affords special leverage in attacking Israel," Muravchik puts it. "Nowhere does JVP evince any genuine interest in Judaism or in the well-being of the Jewish people or any reverence for the accouterments of Jewish life -- holidays, prayers, ceremonial garments, Hebrew words -- that it appropriates as props or adornments in its impassioned campaign for Palestinian vanquishment of Israel."

On its old FAQ page, prior to revisions, JVP acknowledged, "No you don't" "have to be Jewish to join." Simply, JVP is "inspired by Jewish values and traditions."

But I imagine he's got a Fauci-like series of dummy groups between him and antifa.

Related: the other day I faulted Trump for signing an EO ordering federal agents and prosecutors to arrest and charge people for burning the flag.

That's not what he did.

The left has created a Fake Law that says that if a leftist commits a crime while also committing an arguable act of free expression, the arguable act of free expression automatically immunizes them from prosecution for their crimes.

Thus every blue city judge sets antifa rioters and terrorists free after three hours in the county clink, sentencing them to "time served." The left feels that if you're pushing a political position -- only a left-wing position, you understand -- you gain immunity for all criminal action taken while pushing that position.

That is not the law and never has been, though it is currently the de facto law.

Don't worry: No one on the right ever has the benefit of this law. Grandmothers are sent to prison for years for merely praying outside of an abortion clinic, and J6 defendants are prosecuted for assault for throwing a bag of potato chips at a cop.

(Note that no judge or jury thought that the J6er was "overcharged" for that.)

Trump's EO instructed federal agents and prosecutors to stop treating this Fake Law as if it's the actual law. If someone commits a crime, like incitement to riot, that crime should be prosecuted, even if the incitement took the form of burning a flag. The speech element of the crime does not immunize the criminal from prosecution from the crime element of the crime.

Similarly, it's generally illegal to burn anything in public -- burning a flag shouldn't be an exception to the law.

Some asshole burned the flag in a federal park and got arrested. Good.

Unrelated but also kind of related: Ole Miss students engage in the Speech Crime of singing the Star Spangled Banner as Muslims attack the country.

11 Dear Retard,

1) That's not what the EO did - the EO specifically instructed the DoJ to enforce burning the US flag to incite lawlessness or violence - in consistency with the 1969 SCOTUS ruling in Brandenberg v Ohio

I don't think Brandenberg v Ohio was an endorsement of the heckler's veto.

16 151 As pretty much a "non-praying" person, I fully agree with you. But the Left isn't actually oppose to praying, at all. It's just a strawman they use to imply that religious people just pray and don't act, and that the only correct action is to ban guns, outlaw speech, etc.
Posted by: The Right Reverend French at August 27, 2025 03:35 PM (8hxDK)

It's possible that's what Jen Psaki was trying to psay, but that's giving her the benefit of the doubt.

And anyone who has been arrested for praying near an abortion clinic, including those who were silently praying, that's a real assault on praying.
Posted by: BurtTC at August 27, 2025 03:41 PM (PLjqd)

I wasn't able to respond to this in the last thread but you make a good point. I agree they don't like praying folks but still, I think in the case of the abortion clinics they see it as a form of protest against abortion, and that's what they really want to ban. I.e. even standing there silently praying is an offense to them, regardless of 1st Amendment protection. Maybe I am giving them too much credit though.

75 The point of using RICO would be to unravel all of those connections to show causality, but yeah, I agree it'd be hard. Look to people like DataRepublican who are digging through these connections, trying to build linear layouts of where the money goes.

It's the venue that's the real problem. Try this in New York or DC and you could have concrete evidence of collusion and juries would ignore it. But these actions have taken place all over the country, so pick a more reasonable venue and start with a case that is logically limited to that area.

99 Trump has, so far, assessed over $6 billion in fines against illegals.

Trump may be changing this but . . .

so pretty much what happens if you are working under a false SSN and name, is that you declare 36 dependents, and never file taxes for state of federal.
Then sometime within 3 years you get a notice of an audit and notice of non compliance, and if you ignore it and the follow up letters, you get the garnishment notice.

Now, you have options. You can accept the garnishment and penalties, you can get another SSN and name to work under at a different employer, or if your boss is in on the joke, your boss enrolls you as a newhire under a new SSN, name and dob.
and if you are lucky the IRS identifies the actual owner of the SSN and name, and garnishes that taxpayer instead of pursuing you any further (Tax collectors are lazy and have giant workloads), leaving some poor schlub to bear the cost of your ID theft.

This is a hidden fact.

Hispanics largely consider themselves white even before they move to America.

So many think of themselves as descended from Spanish heritage, whether they are or not, and people in Latin America see that as being white as opposed to Indian/Mayan.

It's a major reason why analysis of Hispanics as minorities is actually deeply flawed. Most of them don't consider themselves to be.

I had her look up what income percentile she's in. It's a high number. Then I had her look up median US income in 2024. It's not a high number.

Then I had her look up tax brackets.

You could hear her moving to the right. She's outraged.

You are probably seeing the selection effect from internal migration. The broader term is political socialization which includes events, friends, education, religion, union membership, and parents/relatives. Those that reject their parents values tend to be socialized by education and friends and often they move away from where they are born. Those that accept where they live tend to stay near to parents, kin, region, religion, etc.

The broader field of events in their lifetime including politicians (successful or not) also serve as cues for socialization. Those yutes that grow up in failed times are less supportive of the party in power going forwards and vice versa if that party is successful.

I think that is more a recent affect of education than typical but my historical sociology background is less so than my political sociology coursework (and practical experience in politics).

Daniel Elazar once claimed via migration and ancestry patterns that the US had three major types of politics---he used the states as a basis for analysis but mine and some other research indicates that internally states are not as cohesive as Elazar thought--we used counties as a basis.

The archetypes he developed are traditionalistic, moralistic, and individualistic. And using various data tricks, I conclude he has produced viable typologies. You get admixtures in urban areas and not necessarily perfect alignment--but close enough for historicial trend analysis.

224 Something to note about the anti-gun cri de couer "If ew ban all guns!"...

Note that, while there could be a simple "wrong language" issue, they are talking about banning guns, not removing guns.

It's a paper pusher exercise, because Progs think that if it's written down and made official that it stops the bad thing (unless the kulaks and wreckers intervene, of course). They don't even TALK about actually making America gun-free. They just talk "bans" and assume it will magically wipe them all away. "Bans" are another totem to the left - magical words that use sympathetic magic to achieve something far beyond the actual act.
