The Morning Report — 8/25/25

BrandonBlues.jpg

Good morning kids. Hope you all had a restful and enjoyable weekend. Off we go into the madness. The Democrat Left are nothing if not utterly predictable and as such tedious and irksome, as well as completely repugnant. First up, we have yammering syphilitic chimpanzee Brandon Johnson squatting on his haunches and picking the nits out of his crotch while allowing America's second city to disintegrate into a completely unlivable hellscape.

Let’s check in with Chicago. So far, 172 people were shot in Chicago in August, 41 were shot this week and 1,277 were shot this year so far. According to the media, this is fine. . . Why would you think Chicago needs help? We’ve liberated countries with fewer problems and less corrupt governments than Chicago.

With that bleak assessment, which for years sad to say we have read on a nearly weekly if not daily basis. Nor is it really new for almost any Democrat controlled metropolitan area. So President Trump is now considering sending in the National Guard to clean up Chicago. Which caused the aforementioned degenerate Johnson to go himself (aka Ape).

Sunday on MSNBC’s “The Weekend,” Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson (D) said that if President Donald Trump sent the National Guard to his city, the people would rise up against “tyranny.”

Aside from the El Ruqns or Jan Schakowsky's rent-a-thugs or perhaps arming the criminals already in the Chicago jails, how many divisions does Johnson have?

If the people of Chicago had their druthers, I'd wager they'd march on Chicago's city hall with torches and pitchforks. At least the ones who having voted Democrat (or had their votes pre-cast for Democrats) for decades and are sick of what's been done to them by that party.

Speaking of being tired of the same old shit, the judicial coup rolls on:

Care for more repulsive chutzpocrisy, take a look at the links about Hakeem Jeffries and that Abigail Spanberger shit-whore.

An Obama-appointed judge ruled late Friday that the Trump administration could not deny federal funds to dozens of cities and counties over their sanctuary policies.

U.S. District Judge William Orrick, appointed to the bench in northern California by President Barack Obama, extended a preliminary injunction that blocks the Trump administration from withholding or conditioning federal funds from jurisdictions that refuse to cooperate with federal immigration authorities, according to court documents. The lawsuit, originally filed by San Francisco officials earlier this year, has since taken on many other sanctuary jurisdictions as plaintiffs.

I do not know what the mechanism is for transferring funds from the treasury to the states, but I would completely ignore this judge's ruling and block the funds. If that's not possible, then call out the national guard on as many of these so-called sanctuary cities as possible and go to town. Round 'em up and ship 'em out! ¡Con gusto!

Shifting gears completely, with a bit of relief and pretty damned good news.

The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) projected that tariffs implemented by President Donald J. Trump could reduce total deficits by $4 trillion over the next decade. . . CBO Director Phillip Swagel wrote: “If there are no further changes in tariff rates, we project that customs duties from new and existing tariffs will total about $200 billion this fiscal year.” . . . The analysis suggests that maintaining Trump’s tariffs would reduce federal borrowing and interest costs, leading to significant deficit reductions.

That is a pretty staggering number. Imagine what could be accomplished if along with raising the cash to pay down the deficits we cut the federal budget and bureaucracy over the long haul and shrink the size of the government.

On this bit of very good news and hope for the future, there's lots of links to chew over.

Have a great day!

8 Lol, stupid CO has $750m budget shortfall. So Democrats are doing the logical thing. The butt plunderer Polis called a special session and they're ramming through new taxes on businesses, large and small.

That ought to fix things right up.

I'm thinking between this and some other factors, that Colorado may have turned the corner I've been warning about for 10 years. News from there is starting to sound a little doom-loopy.

21 Leftists always pull these legal fairy tales out of their third point of contact. “It’s OK when we do it”.

Recall the federally mandated 55 mph national speed limit. States didn’t have to comply, but they would not receive interstate highway funds.

There is no legal basis for “sanctuary cities” in the first place. It is a complete inversion or perversion of the concept. Cities are for get this - citizens, it is elected leaders duty and obligation to protect citizens. That’s their job, that’s their oath of office, that’s what taxes are for. If elected officials can’t do that they need to find another line of work.

I'm guessing Cracker Barrel was already going broke, so they decided to get woke. The end result will be the destruction of the company, but the senior execs will walk away with golden parachutes and find another job somewhere else, where they get to do the same thing all over again. Rinse and repeat.

83 Speaking of illegals. Not sure if you have seen this. But there is a petition with over a million signatures asking that the illegal Indian truck driver who murdered three Americans with his reckless behavior be treated with leniency.

You see, according to the parrots on the petition site, he only made a 'mistake' and was trying to 'make a living.' So don't punish him fully for killing three American citizens.

85 If you inform Congress that Trump has saved the Federal budget $4 trillion, they will immediately borrow and spend $12 trillion.

That is why its best to act as if the economy has already collapsed. No matter what trick comes about to save us the consequences of waste, fraud and abuse, there is this demonic homeostasis of failing that must be maintained and amplified to counter-act any and all attempts to mitigate the brazen tyranny.

Its like a immutable constant of nature for governments to plunder the people into penury.

So we should just blanket invalidate all negligent homicide laws? Otherwise state the case where an illegal alien who has deportation orders, obtains through corruption and incompetence not just one but two CDLs, can not manage at any time, and hasn't even attempt to qualify for a CDL, the validity of the CDL called into question at each and every weigh station stop, but never enforced, how that one case of criminality, after fraud, after deception after incompetence means that he gets a Get Out of Jail card for killing people.

And do these same idiots pleading for leniency want the illegal alien to stay and continue to drive a truck because killing people this time was only a "mistake"?

124 Accidents happen. Even good drivers do dumb things now and again. This trucker story resonates with everyone, though, because there's a confluence of Things You Can't Say all coming together.

- As truck drivers get replaced more and more with poorly trained foreigners driving for literal slave wages, regular motorists are seeing them drive more and more unsafely with their own eyes through their own windshields.
- A US Citizen trucker has to go through ridiculous hurdles and pay through the nose for licensing, taxes, insurance, permits, fuel stickers, etc etc to have a job. But some illegal alien can stick a paper sign on a twenty year old truck with packing tape (crooked) and be in business by lunch.
- A US Citizen trucker gets in a minor accident and can never drive again, where a foreigner can kill three people being insanely reckless and get half the country demanding he keep his job.

Regular people are starting to get fed up with a lot of things they used to think were no big deal.

Out of all the gov't programs out there, this has to rate as one of the most abused and fraudulently obtained sources of $$ to game the system. It disgusts me what it's turned into. A cash cow throwing out money to any person who claims to be too fat or "bipolar" or tennis elbow or any other thing that they can latch onto to get benefits.

I once worked with a lady who was a bit strange, but perfectly normal in any other sense. Over the course of a year, she methodically built up her case with multiple doctor visits for documentation relating to her mental health, caused by job stress. She was fairly young, late 40s. She wanted to stop working. And this was how she did it. I know with certainty she wasn't "disabled," yet she got it, and our taxpayer money, and got to live a carefree life thereafter. Gov't Disability is a giant behemoth of abuse and fraud.

171 Conspiracy Theories Revisited

The term ‘conspiracy theorist’ is a smear, deployed by mainstream media to undermine independent journalism and dissent. One of the tactics is to take the most extreme idea from conspiracy speculators to tar then all with the same brush. For example, if you don’t believe the covid-19 narrative you must believe that 5G masts were erected to spread the virus.

Actually, I associated 5G cell towers (especially in Europe) with China's Hawaei, which associates with the Wuhan "Kung Flu"

I suspect the federal grant money machine was another, hidden part as well. As long as the money's coming in, just try and buy elections, it doesn't matter who's up top. Who's up top ends up being more about who can brown nose best to those with money rather than those who can win elections by acquiring voters.

I really think the tipping scale was the 2010 Tea Party election.

The Democrat Party was scared shitless that their rhetoric wasn't going to win everything, that their magic words weren't changing the world. Helped by the GOP, they used the apparatus of the federal government to go from a uniparty graft machine to a single party oppression machine through the use of grants to favored groups and oppression of the opposition through one-sided agency action (the IRS, regulator pressure on banks, etc).

This allowed their true believers to go off the deep end because grants were flowing to influencer outlets that pushed increasing extremism. This temporarily squashed the opposition by strangling them of funds and voices. It helped create this aura that progressivism was not only morally right but ascendant without pause or detour.

Then,...Trump. He caused cognitive dissonance for a very large number of people all at once by winning.

That the state’s official count of those ballots exceeded the number that the county said it collected and submitted is not in dispute.

But accounts of just how great that discrepancy was vary — a lot.

The numbers range from 25 according to the state’s chief elections officer to 39 according to the Hawaiʻi Supreme Court to 661 according to an Elections Commission permitted interaction group and up to 3,772 based on the initial Kauaʻi County ballot envelope count.

Ultimately the left has no real ideology. They want power and money and that's it. 216 Oh another reason for the left's craziness...

Prior to 1991 there was a real concern that the Soviets could replace western elites which mandated some level of focus on real world issues.

Yes there were explicit traitors on the left, and yes there was still plenty of grifting, but it set limits on what they felt they could do.

After the fall of the Soviets though our elites decided the US (with Europe as a sidekick) could do anything. We were the hyperpower right? And what our elites wanted was money and power. And now they could get it without limits.

That's a symptom not a cause.

At roughly the exact same time a very large number of western governments around the world adopted the exact same globalist, far left policies. There are been some notable exceptions like Hungary which kept its nationalist government and guards their borders but most succumbed.

It wasn't some virus that did it or a massive coincidence, it was a choice all these governments made at the same time.

What does the order say? You must (do) spend this money.

Why are they illegally using injunction, when it is a mandamus?
1) they can't meet any of the requirements for immediate relief
2) they burden of proof is much higher, at all stages
3) they have no claim to any money until all appeals are exhausted.

It was Obama's win, combined with a full propaganda psy op on Democrats and potential Democrats that Republicans only believed in Republicanism because they were secretly racist Klan members.

That combined with the timely and well executed push over "Little Trayvon" (remember the blanketing of the airwaves with pictures of him five years earlier combined with an edited phone call plus the guy's name being "Zimmerman" which made him sound like an old Jew). It was all very convenient but provided a base for them to push what they want when they wanted under the guise of Moral Upstanding Good.

Republicans hadn't helped by being scumbags for 20 years and doing things like the Iraq Invasion.

If you get enough people to believe they are morally good and their enemies are morally bad you can push a lot of stupid shit on them. Also they got super heady when all the operations that gave them their phony 60 votes in the Senate worked out. They figured this was always the way to operate and nothing was gonna stop them.

I'm sure that USAID, which if you want real shorthand just write CIA, was a large part of it but sometimes conspiracy theories are just plain old conspiracies.

Globalist organizations like the WEF and the UN have been preaching these policies for decades going back to the days of the Club of Rome. And many politicians and powerful business leaders from around the world have been faithfully supporting them. Probably not a coincidence that Larry Fink is the new co-chair of the WEF.

They've been jonesing for a one world, open borders, renewable energy global governance for as long as I can remember. An EU on steroids. And a lot of people got very wealthy selling out their country to play along.

287 Globalism is also about creating a global upper middle class at the expense of others.

The American working class has been getting f*cked over for fifty years. Their real wages have been stagnant that long, and it's a result of deliberate policies which hollowed out half of America.

Before Trump, the only national public figure to give a rat's ass about them was Ross Perot: "That giant sucking sound your hearing is all the jobs that are leaving."

They were once the foundation of the D party but were abandoned. The GOPe abhor them. Before Trump they had depressed turnout in the 40s. That's been changing and it's having momentous consequences.

This is now not just White working class, but includes Hispanics and many Blacks. Angry peasants with pitchforks! It's a winning coalition.

Clinton / Lewinsky. So many leftist women had to publicly defend that which they'd spent their lives claiming was the worst crime imaginable. They had to face the fact that they'd do anything for the Dems to retain power, to keep abortion... which, despite the words coming out of their mouths, they know is baby murder.

It's the point where they knowingly sold their souls. Everything after that was just layering another coat of wax on the turd.

301 Why release Kilmar Abrego Garcia, if they're just going to arrest him again? And didn't the judges order prevent ICE arrests and deportation?

The point was to force a confession. Release him. Say he’s going to Uganda unless he confesses. Hope he confesses to the trumped up charges so they can say “see he did it!” He didn’t so now it’s send to Uganda. Literally confess or go to a gulag in Siberia stuff.

They also don't want him to have a trial because then it just might be proven that they are a bunch of f****** liars if he is found not guilty. So what are they afraid of?

This is entirely because if he is free it makes Trump look weak, so they will never let this man be free. Ever.

their next move is to kill this man. They cannot prove their false case so he must be eliminated.

Just waiting for the “evidence” of treason against Newsom et al to suddenly appear, so Trump can send him and any other political adversaries to the camps. You know, for public safety.

This is a scandal. Some civilized country should give this man and his family political asylum to protect him from the US government.

The point was to deport him.

To have a very public example of someone fighting a legal deportation order and failing, miserably. All while, quite literally, 200,000 more get deported from the start of his legal efforts to the end.

I think it would have been better to keep Garcia in El Salvador (dude wasn't even in CECOT, just a regular prison), but this is a good end.

Just a few years earlier the left had argued that Clarence Thomas should not be allowed to be a SC judge because he had flirted with a subordinate. Then the Lewinsky scandal came out and the same people argued "if it was true Clinton should resign, but you know women lie about this stuff all the time"

And then the blue dress...and the same people instantly pivoted to "everyone does it, why do you hate sex?" Hell several feminists wrote screeds that women should be honored to sexually service Bill Clinton to keep abortion legal...

People will say "gated communities," but unless they never plan on leaving those gates, they have to deal with the consequences.

Do these "leaders" never think about the impact on them? Their families? Even if they do not have children, they probably have nieces and nephews.

I just do not understand the lack of forethought.

Criminals are always figuring out a new way to get into houses. Be careful out there and if someone shows up like that--call 911 as they should know whether police are there to execute a warrant and be able to communicate with them if they were. Errors also occur with warrants as to addresses and names--easier to communicate with 911 than letting them in first.

A reasonable estimate, synthesizing these sources, places the number of undocumented immigrants in Chicago likely between 100,000 and 300,000, with 200,000 being a commonly cited approximation for recent years.

Total Population: 2.664 million
Illegal Alien population: ~200,000

Which means illegal aliens make up ~7.5% of the Chicago population.

363 Good morning, all, and thanks, J.J.

Illinois redistricting of congressional districts took place January 2022. (Reportedly, the 1st change of judicial district boundaries since 1964.) The state is down to three distant from Chicago Republican districts, the 12th, 15th and 16th. Bost and LaHood will run again for 2026, and so will Mary Miller.

>My Journal Courier, 'Sangamon man plans to challenge Mary Miller for Congressional seat,' August 12, 2025

And he's (?) not the only one.

>Axios Chicago: 'Miller and Pritzker's clash at House hearing could be 2026 preview,' June 20, 2025.

In part, "Reality check: While Miller is making waves, the Illinois GOP doesn't currently hold an elected statewide office. State Democrats also hold the supermajority in both chambers in the state legislature."
---
And so, it's not just the city of Chicago at the heart of the game.

And it's assumed the socialists will always burn down 'the village' rather than PDT or, really, any R.

Over a 10-year period. Which means that they have to stay in place that long. In order for that to happen, JD Vance or someone supporting the tariffs needs to win in 2028.

368 Victor Davis Hanson: The Democrat Party abandoned the middle class for elites and identity politics—trading broad appeal for globalism, DEI dogma, and political self-destruction.
What Made the Democrat Party Go Crazy?

It started in the late 1990s with the advent of the internet and sites like Drudge Report as well as Fox News Channel. Both these mediums started challenging the monopoly the left/Democrats had. Then the close 2000 election loss I think sent them over the edge.

By the 2004 election, they were already going radical left. Zell Miller noticed it back then and supported Bush for re-election, citing the radical left in the Democrat Party.

A strong national defense policy is just not believable coming from a candidate who built a career as an anti-war veteran, an anti-military candidate and an anti-action senator. ... When will national Democrats sober up and admit that that dog won't hunt? Secular socialism, heavy taxes, big spending, weak defense, limitless lawsuits and heavy regulation – that pack of beagles hasn't caught a rabbit in the South or Midwest in years.
