The Morning Report — 8/15/25

KlanChowderhead.jpg

Good morning kids. The top story of the day is the summit between President Trump and Russia's Vladimir Putin today in Alaska. No doubt the media are aiming their poison pen Koluzhnikov memes at Trump. But in the real world.

Although the stated purpose of today’s Trump-Putin summit in Alaska is to discuss how to end the war in Ukraine, the meeting will also be an important demonstration of how Trump is restoring America’s leadership on the world stage and establishing himself as one of America’s most powerful and influential presidents.

Trump’s critics predictably claim Putin manipulated him with his proposal to hold a summit to stop the crippling energy sanctions that Trump was about to impose on Russia and to buy time to continue the war.

Putin may be planning to use the summit to manipulate Trump. If he does, I believe Trump will abruptly end the meeting and implement the energy sanctions. Indeed, Trump warned this week that there will be “severe consequences” if he determines Putin is not serious at the summit about ending the war. It is clear that in recent weeks, Trump has become increasingly angry with Putin for defying his diplomatic efforts to end the war. CNN reported on Wednesday that Trump’s anger with Putin was “palpable.” Given Trump’s much-reported frustration with Putin and several decisive foreign policy moves by the president during his second term, especially Trump’s decision to bomb Iran, I believe Putin realizes that Trump will react harshly against Russia if he does not come to the summit ready to negotiate an end to the war or presses for demands that Trump views as unreasonable.

The author of this essay . . . "Fred Fleitz previously served as National Security Council chief of staff, a CIA analyst, and a House Intelligence Committee staff member. He is the Vice Chair of the America First Policy Institute’s Center for American Security."

Beyond the Ukraine situation, which I don't think is going to end any time soon as a result of what comes out of this meeting. The facts on the ground at least from my perspective is that Russia is not going to give up any territory it took and for sure neither is Zelensky, especially since aside from the fact that it was Ukraine that was invaded, he and his cronies have profited handsomely from the globalist war mongers in the EU and sadly from over here, despite the rivers of blood that have already been spilled.

In any case, Trump and foreign affairs team have proven themselves to be both effective peace makers and champions of American interest in extending and preserving your national security interests. I would like to see how and if Trump can shift Russia into a position to recognize the massive threat posed by Xi and China to global security and of course the spread of Islam that Russia is not and as we saw in Beslan and elsewhere over the years and will not be immune from going forward.

As Trump himself is fond of saying, we'll just have to wait and see. Back here in the lower 48, as the National Guard is indeed helping combat crime, the chutzpocrisy from the Democrats is off the charts as this next piece demonstrates:

Democrat New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham declared a state of emergency Wednesday in a rural county of her state due to a surge in violent crime and drug trafficking. Grisham’s office announced in a press release that the state of emergency will include Rio Arriba County, the city of Española and Pueblo Indian communities in the area in response to a “significant surge in violent crime, drug trafficking and public safety threats” which the governor’s office said have “overwhelmed local resources.”
. . .The emergency declaration came just two days after President Donald Trump’s Monday announcement that he is deploying the National Guard to combat crime in the nation’s capital. Grisham had slammed Trump’s move as a “massive executive overreach” in a Monday joint press release alongside Democratic Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller.

And Jasmine Crockett proves yet again that huffing eyelash glue and inbreeding is a lethal combination. That and the candidate for governor of South Carolina dancing around semi-naked and drunk.

Meh. That is the Democrat Party. Throw in a pogrom here and there and you've got a winner!

And lastly, a quick shout-out and thank you for your continued support in hitting our tip jar. It truly is appreciated more than you can know.

Have a great weekend!

10 Ladies and Gentlemen, today I bring you another episode of "Trapped in Virginia, One Wife's Story".

As you may recall, yesterday my wife was planning on flying home from Blacksburg, VA. They got on the plane, they got off the plane, the flight was delayed 4 times and they were finally told, "We have no idea when we'll be able to fly." Sigh. Fine, switch my flight to tomorrow (today).

Gets to the airport (again). Plane and flight crew are waiting at the gate (yay). They got on the plane, they got off the plane, they're being told, "We're trying to bring in a different plane."

Wife has vowed that she'll never fly again.

48 Melania Trump Wants to Sue Hunter Biden for $1 Billion, Here’s Why

--

I hope she sues the DNA-stained shorts off of him. She specifically says in her book, Melania, exactly how she met Donald Trump for the first time. It almost didn't happen because she was tired and almost didn't go when her friend called to invite her to a get-together party at some nightspot in NYC. He came in and, while with another date, spotted her and sat down to talk, wherein he gave her his phone #. She was hesitant, but also intrigued by him, so some time later, she called. Epstein had nothing to do with any of it.

86 Journalist recounts harrowing broad-daylight sex assault in DC – says cops ‘covered up the unspeakable wrong’

A formerly DC-based journalist revealed Thursday that she was “violently attacked and sexually assaulted” in the nation’s capital – and that the city’s police department refused to include the incident in their crime stats.

“Just one block from my apartment building’s entrance, I was attacked by a large man well over six feet tall. He charged at me for a reason that I still do not understand. In broad daylight and on well-traveled 2nd Street NE next to Union Station, I fought to get away as he sexually assaulted me,” she continued.

92 Voice in the wilderness: I do not believe Witkoff would have recommended this meeting if he did not believe Russia and the US are pretty much on the same page.

Despite what Putin may or may not have said 30 years ago, I do not believe he entertains any ambition to - ever - enlarge Russia further into Europe. He has more than he can effectively handle right now, and has all the resources and population he could want/manage.

I have believed all along that the real stumbling block (now that the US neo-cons are sidelined) is Zelensky - who cares only about himself, and not the 70+% of his people that want the War ended.

I think this meeting is for show. Russia is not the stumbling block. When Putin and Trump can come out of this meeting in agreement, I believe they will have the credentials in the Global Community, to force Zelensky to agree - or face total personal ruin.

So there's my fart in the windstorm.

The boy child's teacher (5th grade) is proudly flying the Hammer and Sickle in her classroom. She's an out and out communist, flying the flag of the USSR.

For those of you playing at home, a government employee is openly supporting an ideology which expressly calls for the overthrow of the United States government.

When I asked her about the flag, she told me that it wasn't her job to teach kids to love America - especially now.

And honestly, the flag itself isn't the problem for me. My problem is that she's comfortable enough in her position to KNOW that she's safe doing something like this - publicizing her communist views to her captive school kids - while within hearing distance of Headquarters, Marine Corps.

Point being is that will a superintendent like Reid with that kind of salary endanger it by dealing with what you mention, regardless of whether or not she agrees? FFS we are talking about schools here that cover up actual sexual assaults.

166 Germany's Industrial Core Is Collapsing Under The US Trade Deal And The Green Agenda (but most the green agenda)

Germany’s economic data leaves no room for illusions. After contracting by 0.9% in 2023 and another 0.5% last year, the decline will continue this year.

It is completely the green agenda. Germany has the second highest energy costs in the world, after the UK. Every major manufacturer in Germany is pulling out - they cannot afford to produce goods there anymore. I don't see how they exist as a country in ten years.

178 Reminder:

The Democrats impeached Trump for his role in trying to find out what the Bidens, both father and son, were actually doing in Ukraine.

Some corruption was going on in Ukraine. Biden publically stated he interferred with Ukraine's investigation during Obama's term. Sort of a reverse-bribery. You know that money that's yours? You're losing it unless you do what we say.

Perhaps the truth of Biden's mental infirmaties went all the way back to that moment. Admission against interest, I've heard it called. But, of course, the fourth column of the Press went and pinned the crime on Trump instead.

Since the start of the idiotic war Zelensky was the front man for the NATO regime. He was given weapons, intelligence and billions to sacrifice his country to satisfy the globalist dream of breaking Russia and establishing a beachhead on the gateway to Eurasia and their vast wealth in minerals and oil and gas.

Zelensky is nothing more than a mouthpiece for a force that ceased to exist when Trump won. Putin knows this which is why he is in Alaska waiting to negotiate with the new boss. A lot of moving pieces in this negotiation and the globalists stand to be the biggest losers and if they are so is Zelensky.

I don't think he wants that. Eastern Ukes favor Russia, Western Ukes favor Europe.

I think given him everything he wants and its:

1) Annex the Eastern/Russian friendly regions that have been pro-Russia for decades
2) Have Ukraine/US/Europe agree on paper that those regions and Crimea are part of Russia
3) Choose a puppet to run Western Ukraine and an agreement it never joins NATO/EU

312 That case uncovered at least $9.6 billion in illegal payments by the bank to Iranian and Hezbollah entities—payments that directly violate U.S. Treasury sanctions and undermine national security.

These transactions were allegedly concealed from mandatory disclosures under a deferred prosecution agreement overseen by the Southern District of New York and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for Washington, D.C.

Even more disturbing, the case implicates New York Attorney General Letitia James and the Federal Reserve for ignoring these billions in illicit transactions and failing to enforce sanctions already designated by the Treasury Department.

Some flavors just stay with me. And I still eat a lot of those same things. The 70's were rough on a farm. But we grew our own veggies and the grandparents had an orchard with apple, Indiana peaches, blueberries and strawberry. The woods and fields provided nuts, and blackberry, and persimmons, even a few pawpaws if you could get them quick enough. And lets not forget the rabbits, deer, and squirrell! Mom had to get creative sometimes but we ate real food, not stuff from boxes.

From above, "Although the stated purpose of today’s Trump-Putin summit in Alaska is to discuss how to end the war in Ukraine, the meeting will also be an important demonstration of how Trump is restoring America’s leadership on the world stage..."

2. (AI Overview) The alleged phone call between President Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, which became a key part of the first impeachment inquiry, occurred on July 25, 2019. This call is what triggered the impeachment process, after a whistleblower reported concerns about the conversation's content.
3. Rep. Adam B. Schiff (CA), was the Chairman, House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.
4. "They're" crazy. (Not just maybe.)

"Now" US Senator Schiff (D-CA) -
NBC News, an hour ago, 'Democratic Sen. Adam Schiff probes river-raising for JD Vance's birthday kayak trip'
Schiff, D-Calif., is seeking answers about federal resources used for the vice president's kayaking trip. The probe comes as the Trump administration investigates Schiff.
