Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | "SHUT IT DOWN!:" Former Deputy Assistant AG Sally Yeats Demanded an End to the Clinton Email Investigation (and She Got It!)Fake recusals -- like when Loretta Lynch claimed she was recusing herself from the Clinton email investigation, but remained active and oversaw her subordinate James Comey who she put "in charge" of the case -- are a hallmark of this case. It's the worst corruption. A recusal is necessary in cases where someone has a conflict of interest. It keeps investigations clean. But these people are so conflicted they are determined to remain in charge of these investigations to direct them to the outcome they desire. So they keep pretending to "recuse" themselves while maintaining all power over all people who are supposedly in charge of the investigation. The Jussie Smollett "prosecutor," Kim Foxx, played the same game. Read the whole thing. The agents kept presenting evidence sufficient to begin an investigation, and DOJ and FBI officials -- who the agents themselves said were conflicted due to their strong political support of the Clintons -- kept shutting the investigations down. Or, in many cases, pretended the investigations were "open," but no investigatory steps could be taken without Andrew McCabe's permission-- which he refused to grant. The agents tried to get the help of federal prosecutors to determine whether or what crimes occurred while Hillary Clinton served as Secretary of State, most notably, because at that time, her family foundation solicited hundreds of millions of dollars from foreign and U.S. interests with business before her department.
________________________ I read somewhere (wish I could remember the source) that of the 135 personal meetings Clinton held in one period of time as Secretary of State, 86 of those individuals ended up donating significant monies to the Clinton Foundation. Most were foreign individuals. Posted by: Orson at August 14, 2025 05:45 PM (dIske) 16

Obama and crew have had EIGHT years to purge and they still missed various smoking gun comms. Hillary was the bloated albatross on their necks. They kept punting the ball, dragging her dessicated corpse to election day. In doing this they hoped their fingerprints would be erased for eternity. Surprise!
What they did not take into account was President Trump winning in 2016. Which set the Russia deal into motion with a frenzy of chimps on acid in a banana plantation. I do wonder how large Hillary's eye bags are today. Bill would not know as he is far away from Chappeddick (I spell this on purpose). They really aren't novel. It's how a conspiracy investigation works. The SOL on a conspiracy starts ticking when the last act of the conspiracy has been committed. It's been suggested by people like Mike Davis who have a lot of access to Trump's DOJ that is exactly the case they are working to build, an ongoing conspiracy to protect Democrats like Hillary and violate the civil rights of Trump and his associates. It would include the coverup of the above corruption investigation of Hillary, her email coverup and the Russia hoax, Ukraine hoax, lawfare, the raid on Mar A Lago and continued right up until now because they are still attempting to cover up their lies. Remains to be seen if they will be successful but in theory none of these things is off the table because of SOL. Posted by: JackStraw at August 14, 2025 05:53 PM (viF8m) 77

Willowed on an old thread but worthy of notice
328 The investigators need to identify ActBlue's credit-card merchant bank and then subpoena it to explain why the bank allowed ActBlue to bypass security checks, such as the Address Verification System (AVS) and CVV2. If a card taker (merchant) doesn't enforce AVS or CVV2, the credit card transaction is called "non-compliant". Non-compliant transactions have a much higher discount rate than compliant transactions. If the card is from overseas, it is called "international non-compliant," and the discount rate skyrockets. Find out if ActBlue's merchant bank is properly penalizing them for non-compliance, or if they have a 'special agreement' in their contract (which violates PCI regulations set by Visa/MC/Amex) to waive the fees, and if that constitutes an illegal payment-in-kind to the Democrats. I’m trying to figure out why he would do this. I think he was promised something by Clinton and she welshed on it. Posted by: MAGA_Ken at August 14, 2025 06:03 PM (zucrn) ______________________________ There was big in-fighting going on in the Dem party at the time. You might recall that just after the election, Donna Brazille took a close look at finances and realized that Clinton had somehow gained control over the entire pot, and controlled which candidates got what. I remember Brazille being very loud about it for a couple days, then going dead quiet. But, the weeks coming up to the election there would have been some very upset folks who weren't receiving DNC campaign funds, because Hillary controlled it. Anyway, I didn't mean to imply that Barbour was responsible for McConnell becoming a Senator in KY. McConnell had been a Senator for at least a quarter century when the walking anus Haley Barbour retired from office, and close to a decade before that execrable cocksucker became the chair of the detestable RNC. But Barbour was the Grand Lizard of the Grand Old Party during the McConnell regrettable rise in the Republican machine, and he groomed that awful grifter to be the next Grand Lizard after himself. And during his tenure, Barbour entrenched himself to such a degree that he could he simply hand the keys to the Republican machine to whomever he pleased, and he handed them to McConnell, his repulsive protégé. That's what I meant about him blessing us all with the rancid turd he left on the doorstep of the American people, and which we can seemingly never completely wipe off our shoes. I can't stand the Beatles for two reasons:
1.) They were never a great band, but got treated as one because they sold a shitload of albums to fawning teenage girls, and stoned retard 20-something dudes. 2.) Those fawning girls and stoned retards were the largest single birth-cohort in American history and commanded the attention of our marketeers for half a g-ddamned century. Their inability to ever put childish things away meant that I, a middle-aged man who was born three years after John Lennon got capped through his little fairy heart, have been subjected to their lame music everywhere I go for my entire life. The boomers think the Beatles will remain a beloved thing for centuries. They will not. They will be an afterthought in 20 more years, while young people will still enjoy the music of their worthier contemporaries. Posted by: Yudhishthira's Dice at August 14, 2025 06:29 PM (dj/2q) 286

On one of their *average* nights, Paul McCartney & Wings were a better touring/live show than the Beatles on the Beatles *best* night.
A common theme against the Beatles is they were crap live musicians. This is simply not true but can be understood from the perspective that live recordings of that time were scant and often of third or fourth rate quality. Worse for the Beatles is that when they hit big the screaming audiences made getting proper recording near impossible. However their live work can be understood from a couple places. Their first album, Please, Please, Me was recorded live in the studio in less than one day and by the end of the Lennon had mostly lost his voice. It was at the point they band recorded Twist and Shout capturing that spectacular rock and roll vocal by Lennon. By any reasonable measure those compositions, arrangements, and live vocals, and playing capture one of the greatest live acts at its peak. A later example is the Rock and Roll Music cover. It was recorded live in the studio in one or two takes. It still is one of the greatest Chuck Berry covers of all time. Them boys could play and did. QED. One pivotal entry in the memo alleges that, likely in March 2016, then-Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates told a federal prosecutor to stop: “Shut it down!”
The timeline adds that prosecutors in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York later said they “would not support the investigation” and that “no explanation was given.” After the election, DOJ officials raised “concerns regarding the statute of limitations,” with one unnamed official saying they “wanted to close this chapter and move forward.” Posted by: rhennigantx at August 14, 2025 06:35 PM (gbOdA) 329

Why they toured with such pathetic amplifiers is imponderable. It wasn’t “equipment failure” it was mismanagement. At Shea they used the PA horn system, which is OK for spoken voice but rancid for music audio. Pathetic, really. Congress is part of the constitution. Is the AG a relatively recent addition? DOJ? What was the enforcement or arrest mechanism prior?
Because this kind of shit has been going on for a long time. Prior to the FBI being captured they did great work rooting out spies and communists. Nobody in Congress wanted to do fuck all about it, and instead went after Sen. McCarthy. The Truman White House secured all the State department loyalty files and would not let anyone see them. China and Mao Korea, Yugoslavia and Tito, all sorts of pro-communist actions were taken to make sure things turned out the “right way”. The UN, World Bank, etc etc. If nobody is willing to do their job in Congress or DOJ, then nothing happens to the saboteurs. And anyone who exposes the criminals is putting everything at risk. What is the reason Treason doth prosper? Posted by: Common Tater at August 14, 2025 06:46 PM (VA1KP) 389

I left for a few minutes to text one son and email a friend and have apparently fallen back into last night's ONT of music? Did I time travel backwards?
The Beatles arrived when I was a child. But I saw them on Ed Sullivan when my grandmother and parents regarded them as a passing odd fancy needing haircuts. Then Woodstock in junior high. Then a few concerts in HS (Mountain, Allman Brothers...original, Doobie Brothers and 3 Dog Night). College brought concerts to a higher (heh) level entirely and, man, I had fun! The early 80's brought our sons and that music in car rides or on the stereo, and I honestly don't think I paid attention to the 90's. We'd moved to FL when they were babies and the Miami Vice vibe with music was big. Having kids and a job does that to you. So I kept listening to mostly 70's and 80's bands with the kid's rocking in their car seats. Still do. They then introduced us to Big Band music and jazz in junior high and HS. And here we are, still rocking and happy. Music is part of life and breathe it in. Without it, well, I don't relate. Posted by: ChristyBlinkyTheGreat at August 14, 2025 06:49 PM (6PCLE) 392
