The West And Islam Are Incompatible: We Just Haven't Admitted It Yet
Muslims are busily murdering Christians throughout Africa and the Middle East, and in almost every Muslim country they are a persecuted minority. Notice I didn't mention Jews in Muslim countries! They have already been driven out, and while there are scattered and tiny Jewish communities in some Muslim countries, the vast majority were expelled, especially in the Middle East.
While Islam holds a special hatred of Jews and Judaism, Christianity is also in its crosshairs. And there are many more Christians than Jews, so Christianity is a much bigger and easier target! Just look at current day Syria, or Egypt, where Coptic Christians used to be a majority, but are now a persecuted minority. And Nigeria seems to be among the worst, with an estimated 50,000 Christians murdered by Islamic terrorists in the last 15 years. Iraq, Indonesia, Pakistan, Libya, Congo... you name the Muslim country, and there has been persecution. Apostasy against Islam is a capital offense in many Muslim countries, including such modern and enlightened places such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE, yet they are treated as if they are civilized countries! And Christianity is an obvious placeholder for Western Culture! And this is nothing new. Islam has been on the march for its entire existence, and it is only the post-modern conceit and stupidity that all cultures are of equal worth that has fooled the West to welcome its savagery, and has conspicuously ignored its intransigent political philosophy.Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities. Thousands become the brave and loyal soldiers of the Queen: all know how to die: but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. The rationality of science, the equality of Man, the recognition of the individual, self determination, the abandonment of the concept of Woman as chattel, the free exercise of religion: all of these and more are in jeopardy. Will the West awaken to this danger? Will there need to be a catastrophe on the scale of a world war to rip off our blinders? Will it be a Pakistani or Iranian nuclear device (or one supplied to a Muslim nation by North Korea or Russia or China) detonated in a Western capital? Will it be a biological attack that destroys American agriculture? Will it be an attack on Israel that triggers an Israeli nuclear attack on a Muslim nation? Who knows, but perhaps a fight is preferable to the creeping destruction of the West!

That we're in a civil war with the left. It's only "civil" now because we're not at the point of taking up arms. Hell, some of us still think there's a political or judicial way out.
Politically, there's nothing the GOP is going to do to help beyond what suits their own interests and wallets while the Democrats have declared war.
Judicially, we're balls deep in a coup run by a national cabal of activist judges hell bent on stopping MAGA in it's tracks so the left can regroup.
While the Muslims and the left share some ideologies, Islamists here (as a singular issue) are probably the least of our worries for now.

Oddly enough, Orthodox/Hassidic Jews in New York and I imagine elsewhere attempt to find secular Jews and get the males to put on TEfilin (the phylacteries (prayer boxes) and pray. They cruised around in vans/RVs and played Jewish music from loudspeakers and they used to accost (that is a rough word) me and ask "Excuse me, are you Jewish? Would you like to put on tefilin and pray with us?!"
But yes, Jews do not proselytize to gentiles.

My (mostly Woke) sister was a local teacher for about 30 years, retired twenty years ago at 55 with prime retirement package. Last I talked with her she felt the need to make the point that Islam's values were much like Christianity, paraphrasing some verse in the Koran or something.
I hadn't seen her in a while, so didn't bother to push back, but I get the feeling she was probably pushing such crap on her kids for much of her career (teaching geography). And that's in a 72% Trump voter county, though the Public school teachers are likely 75% Woke.

I'm not sure I understand your question, but the reason to be wary is that every other civilization wants to kill us and take our resources, so it's best to stay below the radar, which, as you say, we are manifestly not doing now. Because Ishmael, what many consider to be the father of Arabs was an ethnicity or tribe. It wasn't until thousands of years later that some Arabs decided to borrow a lot of Judaism and make themselves a "chosen" race.

To a certain extent, the war with islam is over, and it won, or will win over the long haul.
This is what the insane open borders policies in the West are all about. I'm sure its architects see the flooding of Western countries with muslims as a way of making war with islamic countries impossible by plunking their young fighting men down inside our borders, but-

The sad part of all this is how many of our leaders see us (America) as the problem. Even "W" after 9/11 couldn't wait to open our borders to islam. Having seen the destruction of islam graphically with the murder of Americans in Americans, he helped make possible another future heaping helping of islamic warfare at home.

Up until Rome drove the Calvinists out of Europe, most Christian religion was governmental, that is Rome had a policy of excommunication which would render the victim unable to function well in society. Rome also got to torture and murder people who didn't agree with them. Anglicans and other government managed religions also had synergy in that the people were controlled by the religion for the convenience of the political rulers (who needed their various upper management clerics' endorsements)
Calvinism fled to the New World in order to prosper, and along with it had the strong idea of the governing of Providence, not a Pope.
So "election" is not a feature of civilization, it just happened to be something that the government/social religions despised.
