When I was a child, my family had to go on food stamps for a while. I cringed every time we went to the grocery and Mother Poppins had to pull them out to pay the bill, because to me, food stamps were a sign not only that you were poor, but so poor that you had to depend on a government handout in order to eat.
This country needs a lot of things, but a return of public shaming is right in the top 5.

FWIW, I think Gen Z will be the last generation to grow old in the US. When this all shakes out, the new countries will seal their borders in short order. I think people on the Right would be wise to get out of the blue zones and establish their families in friendly territory while they still have the freedom movement to do it. Just my $0.02.

They screw you, like a lot of software over notifications. You want to have the app notify you of some important things, like “Your order is ready, come get it” on a restaurant app, but no, they have to abuse that and send you notifications about all the great coupons and discounts they offer you.
Instacart is a damn spamming nightmare because of that cheat.

I agree. And the reason we're seeing all of these outbreaks of the most radical kinds (especially the pro-islamist jew hate) is because all of the moderating influences are dropping out of the party. They're not saying a lot about it, they're just getting fed up with it and quitting. So the core left is getting more and more radical, while they also keep getting smaller and smaller. They're going to end up with a Party made up of AWFL's, gay white twinks, Islamic fundamentalists, and Angry Black Women.

There are very few "good people" left in the UK, and there's no mechanism to force a snap election, except for the government itself to call for one. It happens when the rest of the government wants to get rid of a bad leader and save themselves - but when a party knows they're going down for good no matter what, then the incentive is for them to hang onto power as long as possible and steal as much as they can while they can.

The party starts to revolt against leadership because they are worried they won’t win their reelection.
It’s also forced if the government loses a vote for major legislation in parliament, say a budget bill or something, or a vote of no confidence, but Labour’s majority is so large that will probably never happen.
The best they can hope for is that Starner drags the party down so far that they force new leadership and that new leader calls a snap election in order to receive a mandate of their own.
The Tories have gone through that exact cycle several times over the past 15 years.
