Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | Lowly District Court Judge Discovers That Congress's Power to Decide What Taxpayer Money Is Spent On Is "Likely Unconstitutional"This c*nt, who should be impeached, declares that Congress must continue giving money to the abortion mill Planned Parenthood forever. The Constitution demands nothing less. The media tried to pretend she merely overruled an executive order, rather than a law passed by Congress and signed into law by the President.

Talwani, an appointee of Democratic President Barack Obama, said the law's text and structure made clear that it was crafted to cover every member of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, the parent organization, even if they were not named.
That specificity likely transformed the provision at issue into an unconstitutional "bill of attainder," an act of Congress that wrongly seeks to inflict punishment without a trial, the judge said. Assuming Fanta Menace obeys the directive. Any bets on that? Over/under? I don't want Planned Parenthood defunded, but I'm not sure why the judge thinks the plaintiffs will win the case in the end, as I would think that Congress has the ability to decide what they will and won't fund. But at least it's on hold for now. Whether or not it holds, it is important. One can only hope that one day every judge who makes such a ruling will be seen as a hero, upholding law and precedence against the crazy MAGA movement. Why does the press insist on calling PP "the nation's largest abortion provider"? That is a total guarantee to get the anti-abortion crowds' dander up. Why not instead refer to them as what they are, "the nation’s largest provider of woman's healthcare services" which includes abortion (less that 3% of the services they provide I believe). It would certainly be way more accurate and to the point, yes? Posted by: Intercepted DU Transmissions brought by the Intrepid AoS Liaison at July 28, 2025 06:25 PM (ycI94) 35

Trump needs to announce that PP has to put up a $1T bond while the Administration appeals the decision and that it's forfeit when they win. This one decision might be the one that the SC uses to establish clear borderlines between the three branches, if the case gets that far. --------- In 1986 I began what turned out to be almost a decade of Federal Service. There was a *tremendous* amount of training and material provided explaining what "conflict of interest" meant, example of how the term applies, the penalties for engaging in it, and regular pounding on the table about the need to avoid even the APPEARANCE of "conflict of interest" when it comes to Federal Service. And now almost 40 years years later we have judges with known ties/familial ties failing to recuse themselves because they can't WAIT to rule over matters that they have a "conflict of interest" or the appearance of "conflict of interest" in. This should have been smacked down long ago. Posted by: Crusader at July 28, 2025 06:55 PM (TN0g+) 152

To the Diminished Dims, PP is "healthcare."
I know someone who I would still call a friend (he doesn't call me that now due to the way I voted against "women's healthcare" and I have known him since childhood). I did argue, politely, my points. They have all gone beyond insane! I did say what I feel on a few issues, etc, and that I despise that women use abortions as birth control...and mentioned a few who brag about their growning number, as if they need a badge or trophy (and may they burn in hell). They still can get abortions at PP but not with Medicaid. It does not take a genius to figure this out. Pay for the murder yourselves! Roe vs Wade does not include Medicaid or any other funding, it allows them to murder the unborn, as is their "right." The baby has no rights if he/she is unfortunate enough to have this creature as a "mother" or "uterus owner." Healthcare is not birth control or murder choices by PP. They offer nothing else that I am aware of. Perhaps a Pap screen. They lie that they have mammograms or any other type of healthcare. Sometimes I just want to slap them. "In sum, where Section 71113 disqualifies Planned Parenthood Members who do not provide abortion because of their affiliation with other Members who will continue to provide abortion, and where membership in Planned Parenthood Federation is expressive, Plaintiffs are likely to succeed in establishing that Section 71113 unconstitutionally conditions Medicaid reimbursements on these Members foregoing their First Amendment right of association." "Talwani, an appointee of Democratic President Barack Obama, said the law's text and structure made clear that it was crafted to cover every member of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, the parent organization, even if they were not named. That specificity likely transformed the provision at issue into an unconstitutional "bill of attainder," an act of Congress that wrongly seeks to inflict punishment without a trial, the judge said."
I am a lawyer, and that is bullshit. A bill of attainder is a legislative act that declares someone guilty of a crime, and imposes punishment, without trial. But...there is no punishment here - just congress saying they will no longer purchase services from a certain provider. If congress was buying jets from Boeing and Lockheed Martin, and then passed a bill saying they would only by jets from Boeing, did Lockheed Martin suffer a bill of Attainder?
