Lowly District Court Judge Discovers That Congress's Power to Decide What Taxpayer Money Is Spent On Is "Likely Unconstitutional"

This c*nt, who should be impeached, declares that Congress must continue giving money to the abortion mill Planned Parenthood forever. The Constitution demands nothing less.

A federal judge on Monday blocked enforcement of a provision in U.S. President Donald Trump's recently enacted tax and spending bill that would deprive Planned Parenthood and its members of Medicaid funding, saying it is likely unconstitutional.
U.S. District Judge Indira Talwani in Boston issued a preliminary injunction after finding the law likely violated the U.S. Constitution by targeting Planned Parenthood's health centers specifically for punishment for providing abortions.
That provision in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act passed by the Republican-led Congress denied certain tax-exempt organizations and their affiliates from receiving Medicaid funds if they continue to provide abortions.
The U.S. Department of Justice argued that "the bill stops federal subsidies for Big Abortion" and urged Talwani not to let Planned Parenthood and its members "supplant duly enacted legislation with their own policy preferences."
Talwani, an appointee of Democratic President Barack Obama, said the law's text and structure made clear that it was crafted to cover every member of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, the parent organization, even if they were not named.
That specificity likely transformed the provision at issue into an unconstitutional "bill of attainder," an act of Congress that wrongly seeks to inflict punishment without a trial, the judge said.

The Russians completely misunderstand Trump, largely because they think American journalists are reliable and providing decent coverage.

I had to bail out on a bunch of Russia/Ukraine commentary when it became clear that even Americans who were more rational and neutral still got it into their head that Trump succeeds by blind luck, when it should be obvious that he's not. They also are heavily brainwashed that tariffs don't work and that the Trump wants to extend the empire, rather than abolish it.

In 1986 I began what turned out to be almost a decade of Federal Service. There was a *tremendous* amount of training and material provided explaining what "conflict of interest" meant, example of how the term applies, the penalties for engaging in it, and regular pounding on the table about the need to avoid even the APPEARANCE of "conflict of interest" when it comes to Federal Service.

And now almost 40 years years later we have judges with known ties/familial ties failing to recuse themselves because they can't WAIT to rule over matters that they have a "conflict of interest" or the appearance of "conflict of interest" in. This should have been smacked down long ago.

Healthcare is not birth control or murder choices by PP. They offer nothing else that I am aware of. Perhaps a Pap screen. They lie that they have mammograms or any other type of healthcare.

Wouldn't work. Once dissolved, its all over and the court can't compel Congress to put it back. Already been several decisions on this this term.

Congress doesn't have a lot to say. Even if they vote funds, and Trump delivers them Ukraine will fall. The army is reaching the breaking point in many places.
