I had arguments over guns with some people on a forum two decades ago.

They argued their heart out against guns but couldn't tell the difference between an automatic or semi-automatic.

Basically every rifle, to them, was a machine gun.

All they know is what they've seen on TV & Movies.

Her platelets bottomed out this morning at 3K/uL, ,2% of the low end of normal range. IV steroid and immunoglobulin got it up to 13K by noon.

I have an opinion too, unfortunately since I speak and understand Spanish, my dislike of bullfighting comes from the systems abuse of the torreadors and picadors, the horses and the mob-run system that sources the animals and sets up the bouts. I don't give a damn about the bulls.

I think you're missing mine. Americans treat their animals better. In agriculture and in sport. I look down on the Mexicans for their barbaric treatment of livestock. It's why Americans have so much better livestock. We don't run them into the ground like poor, backward mestizo peasants who can't read or figure out plumbing.

I've never been to a bull fight in Spain but I have in Mexico which is kind of the minor leagues of bull fight. Brutal.

I also lived pretty close to a cock fighting place in PR. Also brutal. I'm not a big fan of animal fights just for sport. Not every tradition needs to go on forever.
