Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | Revealed: Comey Didn't Even Bother Investigating Hillary Clinton's Top-Secret-File-Filled Thumb Drives Before Rushing to Exonerate HerThis is what partisan "justice" looks like. Sweeping Hillary Clinton's actual retention of top-secret files under the rug while arresting Trump for keeping some napkins he scribbled notes on. Paul Sperry Paul Sperry Grassley's press release: "This document shows an extreme lack of effort and due diligence in the FBI's investigation of former Secretary Clinton's email usage and mishandling of highly classified information," Grassley said. "Under Comey's leadership, the FBI failed to perform fundamental investigative work and left key pieces of evidence on the cutting room floor. The Comey FBI's negligent approach and perhaps intentional lack of effort in the Clinton investigation is a stark contrast to its full-throated investigation of the Trump-Russia collusion hoax, which was based on the uncorroborated and now discredited Steele dossier. Comey's decision-making process smacks of political infection."The actual files release are here, but there are a lot of redactions so it's hard to read. Regarding the other Comey-led conspiracy -- this one to frame Trump, at Obama's orders -- an unnamed former Washington Post investigative "journalist" admits that Tulsi Gabbard's document drop establishes a clear conspiracy. Tapper is a weasely piece of crap. I heard a few snippets of interviews with him (Megyn Kelly’s is worth listening to), and he uses the same pre-formulated words to avoid actually taking responsibility. He says when he looks back at what he did, he “feels humility.” What an a-hole. Humility is a virtue. He should say he feels “humiliated”, which is more appropriate. But that would admit something. He actually says that in looking back at his actions, he feels even more virtuous.

49 BTW, the Constitution in no way suggests the government should have a Department of Justus. Other than Tariffs and Immigration the Fed has no law enforcement arm other than the Army/Marine Corps and Navy. The only thing mentioned is an Attorney General to deal with international issues - not state issues.
Posted by: pudinhead Wrong, AG was in the original cabinet for a reason. And federal marshals (first one died in action sometime in the 1790s) along with revenuers (internal excise tax collection from booze, etc.) were also federal law enforcement agents. You still see the original decentralized nature of the federal justice apparatus with chief federal marshals being appointed by the president for each judicial district as well as a federal district attorney. The DoJ in DC as such along with the Federal Bureau of Prisons were late comers. Federal prisoners used to be held in local or state jails/prisons before the end of the Reconstruction Era. Comey screwed up by doing that press conference that played around with the word "intent." Hillary would likely have been president if he had just held off and waited until after the election to present his theater. Posted by: Orson ============== I know we figured that out at one time -- why Comey did it at all. Why he announced the reopening of the investigation (I think that's what he did) only to drop the whole matter in a press conference in which he called her all kinds of names. Our intel community intercepted Russian intelligence which showed "purported communications between Congresswoman @DWStweets ... and two different individuals who worked for the Open Society Foundations." Schultz apparently stated that the FBI had no hard evidence against Hillary because "data was removed from the mail servers just in time." This would imply that Debbie Wasserman Schultz knew there was hard evidence against Clinton but the FBI didn't have the evidence because it was no longer on the servers...implying she was also aware of the coverup. The Russian intelligence also stated that Obama was using Loretta Lynch to pressure Comey to essentially bury the email scandal. https://tinyurl.com/2xawue59 (x.com link) Posted by: Ann at July 21, 2025 01:30 PM (4neFu) 113

I had a rare zit on my chin in HS. It was building up to a volcano. I did not have acne otherwise, just a monster zit a few times a year, usually at times I did not want a zit for photos or holidays. No make up could cover it up.
The 8yr build up to this FINALLY being released by Tulsi on Friday is the zit. It won't drain until the Americans become aware. The MSM is like the concealer I put on the zit, hiding it a bit, biding time (Biden time...I write my own puns!). Eventually all pustules drain, whether on chins or butts (I never had them but read about them in text books). This is the bursting of the volcano...either a huge eruption, causing mayhem in the streets, or a slow drain. I believe Musk helped the election of 2024 by getting information out on X, where it could not be denied. President Trump, right or wrong, does not have him as a friend now. So the slow walk for the media begins. The slow deterrents of Congress begin. I saw a stern letter of 50 former intelligent agents stating that Tulsi is unqualified. I looked at the letter with photos and figured these 50 people are scared of what is coming with the zit erupting, slowly, or with great force. She made the bold claim that she had an airtight case for Murder One. So I listened carefully to her case, and that's where I learned that the cop involved was ... completely innocent. Based on the evidence she presented in her Murder One argument. Guy was complaining about not being able to breathe before, during, and after the "knee on the neck" thing. All kinds of other cops around, of a variety of ethnicities, who had no problem with what he was doing. Idiot bystanders - who didn't understand shit - complaining that he was being choked meant nothing. I suspect that she had marching orders from FOX to declare that cop guilty, so she followed her orders but managed to tell everybody he was innocent ANYWAY. Ah. I was thinking that having one's employment files subject to public scrutiny might be a condition of a public service job -- but if there's something unconstitutional about it then So Much For That.
Posted by: Blonde Morticia ======= A bit convoluted but a fed employee past their probation period has a semi vested property interest in their job (5th Amendment applies because due process applies to life, liberty, and property losses), and thus usually can be fired only for 'cause'--leaking to the press, bad at job (Epstein, Maxwell, and Diddy cases), etc. Property interest would allow suing gubmint for wrongful termination. But if you make the cause explicit by putting that off in the press (same goes for probationary employees fired as well), if a court finds that 'cause' is false or not sufficiently proved by gubmint, then it causes subsequent loss of reputation (liberty analysis) that can affect future employment, reputation in society, etc. Thus government led the person to be treated differently in society and thus is liable if it is wrong. Long story about how Londoner v. Denver led to this analysis. Posted by: whig at July 21, 2025 01:52 PM (ctrM5) 206

Posted by: SpeakingOf at July 21, 2025 01:40 PM (6ydKt) Sec State is a powerful position. You needed her approval, for example, in order to be able to export certain goods to other countries. Bypassing State's servers was obviously so she could conduct her corrupt activity without any public scrutiny. It's a huge red flag, and the exact reason why it is illegal to do it. She LITERALLY had her team removing security classification markings for her, before sending classified stuff with that account - and EXTREME national security violation. Then she told everybody she didn't send anything "marked classified". FYI, it's the CONTENT of a document that makes it classified - the markings are just for guidance. WASHINGTON, D.C. (LifeSiteNews) — U.S. President Donald Trump has officially ended taxpayer funding of LGBT “hotlines” for gender-confused kids.
“The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline will no longer silo LGB+ youth services, also known as the ‘Press 3 option,’ to focus on serving all help seekers, including those previously served through the Press 3 option,” the press release read. The LGBT hotline was established in 2022 under the Biden administration and has cost taxpayers over $33 million in just three years. The program also sponsored the Trevor Project, a prominent national pro-LGBT organization that has long provided an online platform for kids and young adults between the ages of 13-24 to chat about their “gender identities.” Posted by: Chuck Martel at July 21, 2025 02:08 PM (Dv3i1) 273

Statute of Limitations, even on the investigation, has probably passed...although if someone testified to Congress in the last five years (so July 21 2020 or later), maybe you can either go for that, or try to say that's the last act of the conspiracy and bring it all back... Posted by: Nova Local =============== I've learned something about statutes of limitations in the past week or so thanks to these crimes. Something like, if they're part of a conspiracy, then the last crime committed in the conspiracy... whatever it is. This is Epstein all over again: criminal referrals, “we're going to prosecute Barack Obama,” “treasonous,” and “seditious.” Here’s the thing—and I hope that four, five, six weeks from now—don’t take it from this Democrat—four, five, six weeks from now, let’s see if this administration—Tulsi Gabbard accusing a former president of treason—let’s see if they bring charges. Personally, I don't want the JEF to be arrested.
I want him to flee in fear. Tried and convicted in abstentia. Him and his family to die is some hotel in some shitty third-world country, never again to set foot in America. Off-limits to any American citizen; denied entry if you visit them; denied passport if you speak to them remotely, charged with aiding a fugitive, etc. Deny him and his beard what they craved the most out of politics: Money, power and adoration. I want them to die alone, isolated, ignored and forgotten. Posted by: People's Hippo Voice If Big Mike gets a divorce, he can be forced to testify. Reminds me of Chuck Schumer warning (?!) DJT that the IC "have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you".
Penny-ante stuff by themselves, but when you add the MSM and the entire, weaponized Executive Branch of the US Government into the mix, that's a formidable coalition of conspirators. Communists, fascists, whatever; our "precious Democracy", our Liberty, were treated like toilet paper by those criminals. Posted by: mrp at July 21, 2025 02:20 PM (rj6Yv) 331
I was gone FIVE minutes. I was a lifeguard, who also only had saves at waterparks (where folks also overestimate their ability - and no, I wasn't one of the guards there - I did community pool where yelling at folks normally stops them cold from stupid acts - well, works for 2-4 year olds). Needless to say, from then on, if I had to ever use the bathroom, kids came back to their ankles til they were good swimmers.
Posted by: Nova Local at July 21, 2025 02:17 PM (tOcjL) Really shouldn't have been there until they could swim. I can swim but when we were at NC when I was a kid a nothing wave hit me on the float and crushed me into the sand and dragged me in for the longest time. I just had to stand up to get out of it, but wave action is a bitch. Posted by: Oldcat at July 21, 2025 02:21 PM (8avO+) 332
And what the annex reveals wasn’t needed to conclude, instantly, based on the known facts of the situation, that the OIG review of Mid-Term Exam was a farce. An historic massive systematic Espionage Act crime wave at the top of the national security system resulted in ZERO prosecutions, and the OIG found this reasonable.
As noted here, at the time. The rot is pervasive. Posted by: rhomboid at July 21, 2025 02:21 PM (ollJN) 333

- Thumb drives containing sensitive data tied to the State Department, Congress, and even President Obama himself were seized… and then ignored.
- An FBI memo recommended further searches, but the bureau leadership squashed the probe. - Intelligence reports indicated coordination between then-DNC Chair Debbie Weaselwords Schultz and operatives from the Soros-funded Open Society Foundations to suppress the investigation. - The FBI failed to pursue leads that the Obama administration intentionally derailed the Clinton probe to protect her 2016 candidacy.
