Democrats' Fundraising Collapses, Causing People to Wonder: Was the Democrats' Funding Almost All Government Money Laundered Through NGOs?

Teddy Schleifer
@teddyschleifer

Cash on hand as of June 30:

Republican National Committee: $80.8 million

Democratic National Committee: $15.2 million

A TIPP poll finds that a near majority of the country brands the Democrats as the party of radicals.

Update to previous post: Hunter Unleashed.

He's burning it all down -- supporting runner's theory that this is a blackmail play. "Pay me to go away, or I'll inject myself into the news cycle twice per week."

I think it was a very conscious effort that started after the 2010 midterms where the Obama administration did everything in its power to shovel money towards cronies in an effort to cement their hold on government for generations.

To the point where a whole generation of Democrat operatives have literally no idea how to run campaigns.

24 Note to Hunter: Inserting profanity into every sentence does not, in fact, make you one of the cool kids. It's like you're a dad trying to learn the latest lingo in an effort to stay cool and only get eyerolls from the kids, except you're not that dad; instead you're his skeevy college friend. You know, the kind the dad invites over to relive the good old days, but after one afternoon, he's really wondering why he hung out with you in the first place, and his wife is threatening to take the kids and divorce him if he doesn't cut off all contact with you.

That kind.

It's probably the folks who avoid paying attention to politics if at all possible. Mike Benz said the very anagram is an op. To make you think that this was foreign aid.

But it's not, it's a fund to "develop the US interest" in whatever country it finds itself. Obama, started using it to develop "America's interest" in America. So that the current zeitgeist had a bulwark against change.

Obama kind of exposed this when his IRA was so hot on keeping conservative organizations from getting the status of 501c3

73 Democrats' Fundraising Collapses, Causing People to Wonder: Was the Democrats' Funding Almost All Government Money Laundered Through NGOs?

So quite seriously ? Yes. But so are things like The Chamber of Commerce.

This is hard for "you and me" to grasp - because you and me aren't giving a dime to any of these people.

But remember Sven ? He was pretty open and honest about being a donor. And that's tax deductible. And I'm not banging on Sven. He's a straight shooter in my book.

jwest ? Another fellow I like. You think he doesn't deduct contributions to this start-up business or that politician ? I'd be disappointed if he didn't. And if I ever make it up to Michigan on vacation ? I hope that restaurant he was trying to start up for the daughters is running. Sign me up for the country fried steak and eggs.

So places like the "CoC" ? Or Black Lives Matter ? Or Move On ? All funded, either by taxes directly or work arounds.

That's how corrupt our system works.

86 Democrats' Fundraising Collapses, Causing People to Wonder: Was the Democrats' Funding Almost All Government Money Laundered Through NGOs?
________________________________

I still don't think the perceived "Billionaire" donors were playing with their own money. There was a large exodus of the "big whale" donors from the DNC. They used Kamala Harris's flippant use of donations for their excuse to step aside. But, I think their non-participation is more related to the tax payer dollars no longer passing through the gambit (Established foundation and grant depot; transferred through cycles to non-profits, then back to a "legit" foundation run by these billionaires, or sitting on its board).

I think the John Morgan's and the Lindy Li's were allowing their names to be used to give a veil of legitimacy, but the money wasn't coming from them. Their exodus is more related to self-preservation legally than any partisan beliefs.

Posted by: Orson at July 21, 2025 03:45 PM (dIske)

87 There is no business rationale for giving the Obamas 100 million dollars for book and production deals, that money most assuredly is money laundered through NGO's.

Remember, the grant money goes out, there is zero financial auditing of the entities that get that money.

What's hilarious about that anti-Clooney rant is the visuals provided by the editor. Clooney's kajillion-dollar Italian villa, Clooney ascending to a jet all palsy with Obama. All the stereotypes about the undeservedly rich -- and Hunter is furious that he isn't part of it.

The Clintons made bank, the Obamas made bank, and the Bidens... fucking furious.

Surgical stainless steel, also known as 316L or 304 stainless steel, is often considered non-magnetic. However, this is not entirely accurate. While it is true that surgical stainless steel is less magnetic than other types of steel, it can still exhibit some magnetic properties under certain conditions.

That story makes no sense to me. How does the MRI tech not notice a freaking twenty pound chain around this guy's neck?

I've had MRIs. They ALWAYS ask you if you have any metal on you. They asked me several times on each visit. I'm sure they've all seen the videos of metal objects getting yanked into the machine and big burly guys trying and failing to pull them out.

Posted by: Thomas Bender at July 21, 2025 04:20 PM (XV/Pl)

=======

The movie star sells tickets. That's what a movie star was supposed to do. That was the point of the star system as created by Irving Thalberg at MGM in the 20s.

It was an effort to find ways to easily and quickly determine which potential projects and talent could make the most money, where to invest the studio's cash.

The movie stars themselves turned it into something magical through their PR agents, and the term has lost all meaning to be no more than, "I like this actor."

413 That one where he had a gay romance with Christopher Reeve was pretty bad.

415 Did you all see the news that the fat "male youth outreach coordinator" toad finally got canned by the DNC? She reportedly burned through $20 million with little to no results.
Posted by: bonhomme at July 21, 2025 04:33 PM (lIio7)

At the breakfast buffet in the fancy hotels the DNC had, probably. Pre-screening the expense plan was too hard for them.

i believe they have a large permanent magnetic field. aiui, the idea is that the large permanent field lines up the hydrogen atoms, which are then smacked upside the head by a smaller, transient field and the machine watches for a signal as they re-align themselves to the permanent field.

Yes. Giant superconducting magnet that can't be shut down except by a rather long and specific procedure. There is a coil of superconducting wire that carries a current of a hundred amps or so. The liquid helium covering the coil has to be kept topped off. If the liquid helium level gets too low and superconductivity is lost in some part of the coil, electrical resistance heats the coil rapidly and boils off the remaining liquid helium like a giant tea kettle. It's called a quench. Destroys the magnet, possibly asphyxiates people in the room.

421 To me a movie star nowdays is someone who doesn't pick bad movies. If it has Brad Pitt or Marky Mark Wahlberg or Denzel Washington I'll probably give it a shot since they dont seem to do shitty projects.

I'd agree with that. Just recently saw Wahlberg in "Flight Risk", directed by Mel "but first" Gibson. I haven't seen Wahlberg in that kind of a role before and he was fantastic.

422 I don't think the ultra liberal democrats understand how radical the whole trans business is. In the midwest, even liberals think it is nuts.

Mrs. Cop's crazy leftist sister has a transgender grandson (I suspect he's taking cross-sex hormones, but hasn't had his genitals mutilated yet). This young man's mother was crazy/abusive during his formative years. He figured out a way to go from "Zero to Hero" and now his mother is all-in on enabling his mental illness. It's sad; all I can do is pray for him.
