The Morning Report — 7/18/25

MarxMomdani.jpg

Good morning kids. There are a few things I'd like to hit on and you'll either be pleased or peeved that the Epstein situation is not among them. First and foremost, as the majority of the nation is rallying behind President Trump in his push to deport as many illegal aliens as possible and seal the border to try and stop the invasion, we have this insanity coming not from the Left but from behind our own lines, as it were:

America Is Not A ‘Nation Of Immigrants’ . . . This insidious slogan is once again being used by Republicans to justify another amnesty bill. . .

. . . group of congressional Republicans have joined Democrats in an effort to push through an amnesty bill by performing two cheap tricks: repeat the tired trope that we’re a “nation of immigrants” and redefine “amnesty” as “dignity.”

The bipartisan bill, dubbed the DIGNITY Act, was introduced this week by Republican Florida Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar, who has lately been on a media tour to promote what she calls, falsely, “a revolutionary bill that offers the solution to our immigration crisis.”

The solution to the immigration crisis and oddly enough this filthy backstabbing slag is correct, it goes beyond the obvious disaster of invading hordes of illegal migrant wetbacks but of those we allow in legally who a very large percentage of do not come here to become Americans and embrace our nation, society and culture, and that our politicians do not demand they do so as was done in years past. The solution is the mass deportation of every foreigner on our soil who is here illegally regardless of how long they've been here (as if every second evading arrest and removal is some sort of credit towards being awarded citzenship) as well as the severe and radical curtailment of legal immigration until those that are here already are assimilated. How that can come about is indeed a thorny issue. But here is a start that President Trump instituted and that should be spread far and wide to every corner of our society, not just the government:

DESIGNATING ENGLISH AS THE OFFICIAL LANGUAGE: Today, President Donald J. Trump signed an Executive Order designating English as the official language of the United States.

The Order rescinds a Clinton-era mandate that required agencies and recipients of federal funding to provide extensive language assistance to non-English speakers.

This designation specifically allows agencies to keep current policies and provide documents and services in other languages, but encourages new Americans to adopt a national language that opens doors to greater opportunities.

Agencies will have flexibility to decide how and when to offer services in languages other than English to best serve the American people and fulfill their agency mission.

UNIFYING THE AMERICAN PEOPLE: It is long past time English is recognized as the official language of the United States.

Bilingualism should be ended in the schools and really everywhere. When my grandparents and mother came here, you best believe they had to learn English in order to not just survive but to thrive. Sure Hungarian, Yiddish, Polish, Russian and Lithuanian were spoken in the home, but they stressed English to the kids and grandkids.

Damn it all to hell, No More G-Damn Amnesty bullshit, by whatever name the GOP wants to call it. And that's why I'm cheering this story on, regardless of the chances of success given the goofiness of South Carolina's electoral system.

TAMPA, Florida — Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) is a “puppet for the Democrats,” the senator’s primary challenger, former South Carolina Lt. Gov. André Bauer, told Breitbart News during an appearance at the Turning Point Student Action Summit over the weekend. . .
. . .“We have a real opportunity tonight to knock off one of the vipers of the Senate,” he said. “It’s going to be unbelievable year for the president … because Thom Tillis is going to be gone, McConnell’s going to be gone…”

“The biggest creature of them all in the swamp is Lindsey Graham. Let us not forget, he’s the one that said Joe Biden’s one of the finest men he ever met. He voted 70 percent of the time in ’22 with Biden — 70 percent he voted with the Democrats,” Bauer stressed. “This a guy that confirmed Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, Sotomayor. He’s not looking out for our interests. He’s a puppet for the Democrats.”

Not mentioned is the fact that Lindsay Graham, aka Grahamnesty was the point man on the so-called Gang of 8 amnesty push from several years ago and no doubt will be cheerleading this House bill if it is given the oxygen to move forward, G-d forbid.

Now here's an idea I can get behind: Repeal HART-CELLER - Trump's immigration win marks a turning point—but critics argue it's time to end Hart-Celler and drastically cut both legal and illegal migration to preserve America's identity.

This is the reality of modern American immigration. Ungrateful third-worlders come here just “looking for a better life” while actively subverting the way of life that made America great in the first place. The vast majority of our legal migrants are bad houseguests.

Every 9/11 hijacker was a legal immigrant, to put things in perspective. America simply needs fewer foreigners on our soil. We definitely don’t need an influx of naturalized citizens from the third world. It is simply insane that the children of illegal immigrants born in America are treated as if they are American citizens.

Birthright citizenship is an absurd policy that makes a mockery of the consent of the governed. American citizenship is valuable. It is a privilege. We should not give it away so easily. . .

. . . Many of the Hispanics flying Mexican flags during the LA anti-ICE rallies are technically American citizens, and yet they despise America. This is untenable. There is no place for hostile aliens and communist activists in America. These people need to go. The source of the problem is the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965, commonly known as Hart-Celler. This law got rid of the National Origins Formula that had previously restricted non-European immigration to the United States and allowed for the “chain migration” that currently allows a single immigrant to create a “foothold” by which dozens of their family members eventually come to America. . .

. . . The aim of Hart-Celler was not the good of the American people but rather concern for the migrants. It was oriented toward helping the “wretched refuse” of the earth find its way to America’s shores. This immigration policy has gone on for far too long. Today, 90% of our immigrants are from the third world. Moreover, there are 80+ million Americans who would not be here if it were not for legal mass immigration.

Let's see Lindsay Graham drop his drawers and defecate on Teddy Kennedy's grave by sponsoring this bill, despicable light-in-the-loafers crooked bastard. It's why I feel if Elon Musk really wanted to make a difference, instead of this ridiculous third party pipe dream, he should spend every dime he's got on primarying all the RINOs like Grahamnesty, Thune, Cornyn, Murkowski, Collins and all the rest in both chambers of Congress.

Make the GOP the Grand Old Party again and not the Grifting Oleaginous Parasites they are now.

Elsewhere, we have Communist fever breaking out on both coasts. In California, we have Newsom and Bass using the Pacific Palisades fire as cover to make up some bullshit excuse to confiscate the land from homeowners who want to rebuild and turn it all into low income housing.

In California, some radical far-left ideas don't seem to be drawing the applause they were expected to draw.

Which brings us to one state Sen. Ben Allen, a Santa Monica statehouse senator who put out a proposed law so stinky, so stanky, so vile, he skedaddled backward as fast as his little legs would carry him.

At a time when the County of Los Angeles has witheld rebuilding permits for all but seven of the 17,000 homeowners who lost their homes in the fires they caused, Allen's SB 549 authorized the state to go around buying up burned properties in fire-ravaged areas, including Altadena and Pacific Palisades, and converting those lots into crime-box high-rise apartment projects for the benefit of the homeless and the "justice-involved individuals."

It made sense from a leftist point of view. Many leftists have gone into low-income housing construction -- and could potentially benefit from construction of crime-box apartments to house bums and criminals who belong in jail.

That would be quite a reward for the bums, given that they set so many of these fires, and an incentive to them to set more fires, given that the prize is now beachfront property.

And not to be outdone, we have this glittering nugget of strychnine encrusted plutonium:

Zohran Mamdani, the Democrat candidate for New York City mayor, faced a wave of backlash after a video clip of him advocating for “the abolition of private property” gained traction online. The footage was initially shared by the pro-MAGA Twitter account “End Wokeness” and subsequently amplified by prominent Republicans, including Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Representative Elise Stefanik (R-NY). . . Other critics, including Amy Kremer and Congressman Mike Lawler (R-NY), expressed alarm at Mamdani’s comments. Lawler described the proposal as “bat shit insane” and urged voters to reject Mamdani at the ballot box in November, while Kremer accused him of wanting to seize personal property, including homes and apartments. The New York Young Republican Club referred to Mamdani as a “thoroughbred Marxist” and a “discount Bolshevik.”Notably, Mamdani also supports the abolition of prisons and defunding the police. Born in Uganda, he is a member of Shia Islam’s extremist “Twelver” sect, and only became a U.S. citizen in 2018.

The phrase Islam's extremist sect is a complete misnomer. Islam itself as the past 1500 years have shown is extreme in and of itself, as its main tenets calling for the conquest of the world and conversion and/or death of all unbelieevers who do not submit. The word Islam itself (contrary to the propaganda does not mean peace, it means Submission.) Seal the border lest we be overrun by Momdanis. Unless it's too late. . .

Beyond that as you can see in the Civil War section we still have Leftists targeting their political rivals on the Right with violence and threats of violence as well as the urging on of violence against ICE and so on and so on and scooby dooby dooby. . .

And lastly, a quick shout-out and thank you for your continued support in hitting our tip jar. It truly is appreciated more than you can know.

Have a great weekend!

30 So Trump is suing the WSJ…

Posted by: LinusVanPelt at July 18, 2025 07:41 AM (WdMlw)

31 There's no reason to push this "Dignity Act." There are laws and processes already in place that permit immigrants, illegally here or not, to apply for citizenship. All they have to do is paperwork, in their home country and wait for approval.

They'll either get approved, for some specific period of time at the end which they can either apply for citizenship or go home and reapply for another temporary visa. Time limits vary.

Apparently many immigrants can't read or write. Even in their own language and at home. But that's not a reason to give the 10's of millions of them here amnesty.

Graham is up for reelection next year. He'll likely steer clear of glomming onto any amnesty push. He's in the "I'm really a conservative, guys" phase of campaigning. The one that expires upon reelection. His commercials around here practically proclaim him as Trump's right hand man.

On Wednesday, a three-judge panel issued a ruling against a legal challenge brought by a group of students who contend the state ban violates their First Amendment rights.

One has to wonder who financed a "group of students" to push this lawsuit. What first amendment right is there to shove some toxic leftist ideology down other students' throats? I seem to have missed that one.

6 questions for the idiots at the Wall Street Journal:

1. How on earth did you just suddenly find a letter from 2003?

2. Who gave it to you? When? What were the terms?

3. Why didn’t you publish the “letter” in full?

4. President Trump’s always been known for writing personal letters by hand. Can you cite a single example of him sending a typewritten note?

5. He is also known for his straightforward and direct writing style (just like his speaking style). Can you cite one (1) other example of him writing in whimsical riddles like this “letter” you suddenly found?

6. Don’t you find it odd that this “letter” magically appears now -- not before 2016, 2020, or 2024 -- but right when the Democrats are trying to weaponize “Epstein” against Trump?

154 After a surge of anti-Semitic incidents in Canada, some Jews claim they are relocating to the United States, while others are looking to move to Israel. From 2022 to 2024, Canada saw a 124.6 percent increase in hate incidents directed at Jews, who account for around 70 percent of the victims of religiously motivated hate crimes despite being just 0.9 percent of the Canadian population.

So as a society move away from freedom of expression and trade towards a socialist system it is amazing that they seem to need a boogyman to blame for whatever is the latest failure of the system.

A lot of teenagers in the UK are not happy with their situation, especially if they’re English, as in their ancestors aren’t from the Punjab or Jamaica.

231 I would argue England imported all those “migrants” precisely in order to become authoritarian, not the converse. This is the game plan. Don’t be fooled. It is designed to bankrupt or destroy existing systems of government and infrastructure. No other reason.

Posted by: Call Now! No Fees Unless We Get A Settlement! at July 18, 2025 08:30 AM

Yep. It has been happening for decades in every western nation in the world.

Almost every European western nation has been conquered by illegals and the immigrants who get into government positions and then set policy to cater to illegals. UK is the first to fall, with the majority of major city Mayors now Muslim. But Germany and France are right there as well.

And the US is not far behind, especially after the mass illegal invasion from January 2021 to January 2025. And all the immigrants like Ilhan Omar and others who have gotten into influential positions in government and have been working to destroy the country from within.

The long term WEF plan in action.

This has become a stupid game the FNM plays. Any civilian casualties are the responsibility of...the US if an R president and Israel if they are involved.

And those "civilians" include armed militants in service of jihadi para-military groups. There were cases during the WoT when the US would bomb some group, the FNM would negotiate with AQ/etc to go there, and then report the men were "unarmed". Sure they were toots...because AQ picked up their weapons and gave them to other people.

I’m still perfecting my soft Tortilla folding technique. I’ve often surmised a comely Senorita could give me some tips. The trick seems to be to try not to overfill, and fold the edges so the contents don’t spill. What is needed, is a sort of “hook and pile” edible Velcro closure, really.

NYC seems to have been taken over by illegals and the left like California, Minnesota, Illinois, etc. NYC has been bad for years of leftist rule there and the voter response to it is... nominate someone even more radical left. Not seeing any lesson learned.

They have purposely created an artificial economy, where millions don’t or won’t work, and millions more imported to work for slave wages. Remove those perverse, artificial incentives. You’ll see things come around very quickly.

None of this would have been possible without a phony baloney “reserve currency” status, mind you. Our privilege has long been a weakness, or used that way. The one thing they can’t paper over is monetary inflation, and $38 trillion in national government debt.

Quick Grok search:

Newark, New Jersey: In 2024, Newark became the largest U.S. city to allow 16- and 17-year-olds to vote in school board elections, starting in April 2024. This move was described as the most significant effort to lower the voting age in the U.S. since 1971.

Maryland: Takoma Park was the first U.S. city to lower the voting age to 16 for local elections in 2013, followed by other Maryland cities like Greenbelt, Hyattsville, Riverdale Park, Cheverly, Mount Rainier, and Chevy Chase. However, Glenarden, Maryland, briefly lowered the voting age to 16 in 2016 but reversed it a year later.

California: Berkeley and Oakland allow 16-year-olds to vote in school board elections. In 2016, San Francisco voters narrowly rejected a measure to lower the voting age for all local elections.

Vermont: Brattleboro permits 16-year-olds to vote in local elections.

293 They have purposely created an artificial economy, where millions don’t or won’t work, and millions more imported to work for slave wages. Remove those perverse, artificial incentives. You’ll see things come around very quickly.

We've given people a reliable way to live on the dole and then pretend, collectively, that people work because they want to.

Most people, given the choice of an equivalent standard of living either way, will not work. This has been proven again and again and is pretty damn obvious.

And yes we've made this system perverse across the board. The person on welfare pays no taxes...but the person on unemployment insurance does. The guy that puts in overtime pays more in taxes then his peer that does not. And on and on.

The report of three little girls being found alive in a hollow tree one mile from Camp Mystic appears to stem from a specific article claiming that three girls, aged 8–10, were discovered after surviving nearly 10 days following the devastating floods in Central Texas on July 4, 2025.

According to the source, the girls—named Emily Rivera, Zoey Nash, and Hope Lin—were found inside the hollow trunk of a massive oak tree, having survived by collecting rainwater and applying knowledge from a pre-camp wilderness safety drill. The article describes their discovery as a “miracle of endurance, faith, and sisterhood,” with the girls using wet towels and a broken shoelace to secure their shelter.

However, this account originates from a single source, and its credibility has been questioned, as other reports, including posts on X, mention only two girls being found alive in a tree, with no official confirmation of three girls in a hollow tree.

334 >> One more rant on that Trevor Project article:

It suggests that children who do not fit rigid gender stereotypes—like a boy who prefers ballet or a girl who prefers sports—may actually be transgender, with an internal “gender identity” misaligned with their bodies.

This has *always* been the worst part of the gender ideology crap. Male/female already was already 'on the spectrum' (to use modern terminology) so that it was perfectly fine if women/girls were masculine and men/boys were feminine -- they could still maintain their core sex identity. Obviously, it sometimes aligned with same-sex attraction, but it wasn't always.

What the gender ideology has done is hard-coded traditional, narrower gender roles as the norm so that they can claim all that space outside it as theirs, thus normalizing deviancy at the extremes.

“Political correctness is communist propaganda writ small. In my study of communist societies, I came to the conclusion that the purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, not to inform, but to humiliate; and therefore, the less it corresponded to reality the better.

When people are forced to remain silent when they are being told the most obvious lies, or even worse when they are forced to repeat the lies themselves, they lose once and for all their sense of probity.

To assent to obvious lies is in some small way to become evil oneself. One's standing to resist anything is thus eroded and even destroyed.

From working at British Intelligence, Ian Fleming was quite familiar with the exploits of Sidney Reilly, Ace of Spies, and he's much of what he put into Bond and more.

Reilly was truly remarkable. His last exploit was to seize power in the nascent Soviet Union. He might have pulled it off if the British had delivered the promised numbers at Archangel instrad of a token force. Instead, Reilly got a bullet in the head.

Late night TV is becoming obsolete. It’s not like the old days when Leno or Letterman was the only place a movie star or singer could get a national platform.

Truth is becoming obsolete, this has nothing to do with late night.

Colbert is a powerhouse talent. He’ll do just fine wherever he lands, if he chooses to work.

Jimmy Kimmel next? This is infuriating. Colbert and Kimmel are the 2 best imho.

It is post merger cost cutting. They will need to squeeze every dollar to make a profit off of this deal. Colbert is an unfortunate casualty. They'll probably cut The Daily Show next.

That is actually true. I dive with sharks all the time. Sharks want fattier meat than humans. The vast majority of sharks biting humans occur in murky water less than four feet deep, where the shark bites to see if it is food, and the second most common occurrence is sharks seeing a surfer profile at the surface and mistaking them for turtles or seals, and striking them from below.

This is correct.

The reason Soros has/had been so successful in creating Shithole USA is that he understood the need to have people who believe as he did in the right places to "effect change".

His greatest victories came from putting puppet DAs and Secs of State into place in various states where he got his desires matched without going through the trouble of passing laws.

419 I'd rather read the news here than anywhere else to prevent my own internal jihad. Thank you. I basically scan headlines to see if we are under attack then am done for the day.

In the UK, Epping to be exact...there is a hotel for the illegal darlings. I guess riots broke out and an anti-immigrant protestor was hit by a police van. Some people are po'd because a 14yo girl was asked by a barbarian if she wanted to have "leetle Jamaican babies." This on top of the Ethiopian who had sex offences, etc, was arrested then back on the streets. They are called "boat migrants" as they arrive from France. Tip of the iceberg.

People who protest illegals in Epping are the problem, you understand.

Yesterday I read of a man whose toddler boy was knocked out of his arms by another "youth" near an escalator in the UK. White men beat the snot out of him on the escalator as the baby cried. I hope someone helped the baby boy. So they have had enough, but the government supports this cultural invasion. And no one can do much to stop it.

Haven't forgotten. The 2016 GOP nomination process revealed that they were all beholden by big donors to endorse mass immigration, though some certainly wanted that already (Jeb). There was an interviewed w/Scott Walker where he admitted as much: he had to curb immigration control talk because his biggest donor was against it. Heck, not a single one of the 15 running against Trump moved even a tiny bit to the middle claim the large space between the others and Trump.

What has been wonderful is watching Rubio as SoS. Get a much better idea of what he is capable of when he's not pleasing donors or voters, and with the strong support of a POTUS who has clear directives but stands back and lets him do his job.

444 The Secretary of the Army Dan Driscoll has issued a formal apology to Operation Rescue for mischaracterizing the pro-life organization as a terror group during a counterterrorism and security training presentation that was used to teach 9,100 Army soldiers at Fort Bragg. “This characterization was not only inaccurate but also deeply inappropriate,” Driscol stated in a July 16, 2025, letter to the American Center for Law and Justice, which represents Operation Rescue and its President, Troy Newman.

"Many of the things that are being suppressed are being suppressed by two judges in Manhattan."

"The judges have issued orders — which is why I can't disclose things I'd love to disclose."

"But Pam Bondi and the Justice Department and Donald Trump are not responsible for that. I don't know of any information that they could disclose that they haven't disclosed."

"I think it's important to place the blame where the blame deserves to be placed."

... and who at DOJ worked with the judges .. now fired Maurene Comey

449 Hardline and outspoken Israeli Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir has called for Israel to "eliminate" Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa, following the latest escalation in sectarian violence this week.

"The shocking images from Syria prove one thing: once a jihadist, always a jihadist," Ben Gvir said in a video statement on Wednesday. "Anyone who murders, shaves mustaches, humiliates, and rapes cannot be negotiated with, and the only thing that can be done is to eliminate al-Julani," he added, referring to the Syrian leader's previous nom de guerre, Mohammad al-Jolani.

452 Good morning, all. J.J., thank you.

"First and foremost, as the majority of the nation is rallying behind President Trump in his push to deport as many illegal aliens as possible..." (He is trying SO hard to give us strong National paths forward for America First.)

And, yes, they are, but many are also continuing to ignore local, political ground games and that's where Districts hold or change.

Yesterday, a local protest - coordinated with the date of passing of Congressman John Lewis and national protests against President Trump's administration - accused it of civil and human rights violations.

Other groups are howling about environmental justice, a nation of immigrants, Medicare for All, and so on. IT DEPENDS because their unification is TDS and/or keeping $ in their programs and pockets.

Beyond Zohran Mamdani, whose Wikipedia page gets updated abt. every 4 hours, there's so many other interesting people in office - and with whom we're unfamiliar - and also other colorful sorts running for office, i.e., Maxwell Alejandro Frost (FL 10th District); Cait Conley running on a Democrat platform to challenge Republican Rep. Mike Lawler (NY, 17th District) in next year’s midterms. Saikat Chakrabarti, formerly chief of staff to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, running against SF's Nancy Pelosi! Another from Florida: Community Organizer, Elijah Manley, running for Congress in District 20, for Working Families. Omar Fateh, "Minneapolis' Mamdani."

They're the tip of the iceberg, and with friends like Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), “puppet for the Democrats."

Christopher Caldwell aptly called the Civil Rights Act "The Law That Ate the Constitution.

I've often wondered about who his staffers were and where else their careers took them.

457 Re: California's "High Speed" Rail:

I remember reading several years ago about a French contractor who was interested but dropped out o work on a project in Morocco because it was easier to deal with the bureaucracy. BTW the 220 mile Moroccan project broke ground in 2011 and seven years later, service commenced. I am no sure how much it cost (it did run over budget) but I can tell it cost a heck of a lot less than the CA project.
