Its Oprah level new age stuff. You build a board with images of what you want to happen, making that your "vision" then imagine yourself getting there, pretend that its real and eventually "the Universe" will reward you with that.

Its ridiculous magical crap.

42 The letter bearing Trump’s name, which was reviewed by the Journal, is bawdy—like others in the album. It contains several lines of typewritten text framed by the outline of a naked woman, which appears to be hand-drawn with a heavy marker. A pair of small arcs denotes the woman’s breasts, and the future president’s signature is a squiggly “Donald” below her waist, mimicking pubic hair.
The letter concludes: “Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret.”
In an interview with the Journal on Tuesday evening, Trump denied writing the letter or drawing the picture. “This is not me. This is a fake thing. It’s a fake Wall Street Journal story,” he said.
“I never wrote a picture in my life. I don’t draw pictures of women,” he said. “It’s not my language. It’s not my words.”
He told the Journal he was preparing to file a lawsuit if it published an article. “I’m gonna sue The Wall Street Journal just like I sued everyone else,” he said.

It isn’t clear how the letter with Trump’s signature was prepared. Inside the outline of the naked woman was a typewritten note styled as an imaginary conversation between Trump and Epstein, written in the third person.

“Voice Over: There must be more to life than having everything,” the note began.
Donald: Yes, there is, but I won’t tell you what it is.
Jeffrey: Nor will I, since I also know what it is.
Donald: We have certain things in common, Jeffrey.
Jeffrey: Yes, we do, come to think of it.
Donald: Enigmas never age, have you noticed that?
Jeffrey: As a matter of fact, it was clear to me the last time I saw you.
Trump: A pal is a wonderful thing. Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret.

CBS emphasized that the decision was not related to performance or content: “This is purely a financial decision against a challenging backdrop in late night. It is not related in any way to the show’s performance, content or other matters happening at Paramount.”

The 2003 birthday letter to Jeffrey Epstein reported on by the WSJ, bearing Donald Trump’s name and found in a leather-bound album compiled by Ghislaine Maxwell, features the outline of a nude woman and a strange dialogue between Trump and Epstein.

In the dialogue, Trump notes that, “We have certain things in common, Jeffrey.” Jeffrey replies, “Yes, we do, come to think of it.”

Trump then remarks, “Enigmas never age, have you noticed that?” and closes, saying, “A pal is a wonderful thing. Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret.”

Trump has called the letter fake.

Ghislaine's daddy was the infamous Robert Maxwell. His yacht was named "Lady Ghislaine", raising the question of whether he named is boat after his daughter, or his daughter after his boat.

He "fell to his death" on the Lady Ghislaine, of course. The story goes Ghislaine asked him was he going to take a shower on the boat, and he replied, "No honey, I think I'll just wash up on shore."

A few years back Putin mentioned border changes when discussing Poland and Ukraine, said he didn't much care. But he did say that "Stalin's Gift" of sliding Poland 150 miles or so into Germany was something that Germany might come looking for if shifting borders became too trendy.

Saw George with a college friend. His girlfriend did not want to go and he had a ticket. I'd basically go anywhere and do anything in those days. The concert was ok...but I got to see a Beetle!

Forgot, too, about Aerosmith. Super small venue and they did not adjust the amps. Blew your eardrums out. So I was not impressed to hear the concert from the parking lot with my brother and friends.

I had a lot of fun. The bands I wish I had seen were Lynyrd Skynyrd (they were in my college town when I was home and vice versa...hitting their stride when the plane crashed).

In later years I wish I had seen Foreigner and Toto. Probably others that I can't remember.

443 441 That stuff is bordering on the Star Trek thing where they didn't actually fight the war, they just had a computer determine who died on each side and ordered them to report for killing.

I have a six-disc CD player in the truck. A couple of the CD's are traditional Christmas music. I let them play, and it feels good. Keeps me mindful.

447 - Having read the last 30 or 40 comments, it looks like I missed the kickoff and got here late 1st quarter.
Still, just to stir the pot some, I just saw a vid talking about the GENIUS ACT that has just been passed. Something about Stable Coins. Trump likely to sign. I know I've heard him talking about liking Bitcoin.
Thing is, they're all digital currency. Fed gov is gonna have oversight.

We had one Golden, the most perfect dog in the entire world of being a good boy. Hated our pool or any water, which was bred out of him. Would invite serial killers in. Loved food. But an angel with four paws. So not the brightest but the prettiest of the litter of show dogs.

After he went to heaven, one of our sons got a Golden. This pup was smart. I know this sounds weird, but he liked art and to be carried like a baby. He had to look at paintings and would notice if I changed seasonal decor on the fireplace. Yet when the grandchildren were born he became their babysitter. Protective. We have a video of our newborn grandson crying as my husband walked him. Bailey walked with them. I don't know what he thought he'd do...catch the kid? Bite Poppy?

He was a sweetheart, too. They now have a girl Golden who is hyper and sort of crazy, as anyone would be after being raised with a 9mo old and toddler. I hope she is nice to the new baby vs flinging her out the window.

459 That is really a perfect shot of the deer. The sun is coming right up off his head and between his antlers. The hoar frost, which I think is a really rude term for beautiful frozen dew designs.

I am ready for snow. Or autumn.

This isn't my favorite time of year to not be near a pool or ocean. I shall survive due to air conditioning. But I am not happy about it.

The US dollar is a digital currency too, most of the dollars in existence aren't printed, they are just listed in the Fed or banks' legers.
Stablecoins are similar, but instead of being backed by debt directly (you will pay off the amount shown owing in your bank's records, eventually, or go bankrupt) they are backed by something held by a bank or institution. Tether is one such company that issues stablecoins, and they are backed 100% by Gold (XAUt) and dollars (XUSDt), and they are proposing to issue Treasury backed ones soon under what is allowed by the Genius act.
I can talk about it for a long time, but it is basically like a credit card where your money is backed 100% ahead of time instead of being paid to the company each month; the difference between a pay as you go cell phone and your Verizon account phone.

It will at least sop up the international market for Treasuries, instead of forcing the FED to monetize them

NEVER! I am a throwback to my Highland roots. I'd burn peat if I could find it. I might regret it, but I'd try. We have a gas fireplace and I don't care how much energy the climate people say I waste every morning.

My Southern family does not understand my love of snow and mountains. They are used to it now.
