Just the News: Discovery of "Vault" Where Comey Hid Evidence of His Russiagate Maneuverings May Help Prove Conspiracy

I think the idea here is one that the DOJ uses all the time in prosecutions: If you do something that indicates a consciousness of guilt, such as hiding evidence, then that can be used as evidence to prove intent at trial.

So, James "No Intent" Comey may have proven his intent to defraud the United States of the presidency they voted for by hiding the evidence of his crimes.

The FBI's decision to open a probe that treats the last decade of political weaponization of law enforcement and intelligence agencies as an ongoing criminal conspiracy is being cheered by lawmakers and could be aided by Director Kash Patel's recent discovery of a room where the bureau had "hidden" evidence from public and congressional view.

Patel's discovery of the evidence "vault" or "lockbox" as he called it on a recent interview with podcaster Joe Rogan and the opening of the "overarching conspiracy" probe occurred around the same time this spring, officials told Just the News.

The discovery that the FBI stashed away evidence in politically hot probes like Russigate could help prosecutors convince a grand jury that government officials were engaged in a coverup or an effort to deprive civil liberties, experts said.

"I think it's part of a coordinated strategy to deprive people of their constitutional rights to speech and to petition the government for redress of agreements and also the right to counsel," former Trump attorney John Eastman told the John Solomon Reports podcast on Monday.

And while the discovery of the evidence vault and the emergence of the conspiracy probe are shrouded in some secrecy, their existence has buoyed Republicans in Congress who long believed prosecution of government actors behind scandals like Russiagate and Biden family corruption was warranted.

"They put America through unbelievable, really historic political turmoil, knowing that the entire narrative was completely false," Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., declared Monday, after word of the conspiracy case surfaced in a Just the News report.

"I felt these people were criminals for many years now," Johnson told the Just the News, No Noise TV show. "I mean, the fact that they knew this...the whole Russiagate was a conspiracy hatched by the Clinton campaign back in 2016. President Obama was briefed on that. I mean, they all knew."

Just the News reported Monday that the FBI quietly launched an investigation into a decade of Democratic Party and "deep-state" antics ranging from ginning up the Trump-Russia collusion to examining special counsel Jack Smith's pursuit of Trump.

That news could open the door for the appointment of a special prosecutor to examine whether the different events support a presentation to a grand jury regarding a criminal conspiracy to influence three consecutive presidential elections to the benefit of Democrats and the detriment of Trump.

Previously hidden documents or information with potential impact being suddenly discovered is a developing pattern, and the release of that material is likely to have major repercussions.

The FBI's "grand conspiracy" case was opened several weeks ago, Just the News reported, and it could get a significant boost if Trump were to declassify two yet-classified troves of evidence that identify key pieces of the alleged conspiracy dating back to the summer of 2016, according to several people directly familiar with the inquiry who spoke to Just the News on a condition of anonymity.

Patel said in a mid-May joint interview with FBI deputy director Dan Bongino that "as much as we know about Crossfire Hurricane, he and I just found out more last week, and we're continuing to work with Congress to put those documents out."

Comey and the Deep State repeatedly prosecuted J6ers on the theory that they "conspired to defraud the people of the United States" of a free and fair election.

That precedent can now be used to prosecute them.

Related? Pam Bondi fires the DOJ's top "ethics" official.

Attorney General Pam Bondi has dismissed one of the department's top career ethics officials. Joseph Tirrell, who was responsible for advising senior Department of Justice (DOJ) leaders on ethical standards, had long been seen by critics as emblematic of the entrenched bureaucratic mindset that too often prioritizes politics over justice. Bondi's decision sends a clear message: under her leadership, the DOJ will no longer tolerate internal resistance that undermines conservative reforms or the will of the American people.

In fact, didn't John McCain present the Steele Dossier to some functionary in DOJ himself? Anyone think he did that without any of his contemporaries knowing?

But good on this DOJ ( if anything actually comes of it besides more soundbites for blowhards) for pursuing justice.

Somewhere down the road after all the guilty are dead, maybe we'll get around to hanging people for covid crimes against humanity.

101 Why did Comey call that imprmptu Press Conference right before the general? He did not want to do this. Someone or something forced his hand. What was it? The fact that he tried to hand wave away, and cover for, serious black letter federal law - failure to safeguard state secrets, is beside the point. “Don’t try this at home, kids”. Amusingly, the left tried to resort to the “She didn’t mean to” defense, as if intent has anything whatsoever to do with relevant statutes.

107 Well, to Mis Hum's earlier point, there is certainly enough to prosecute Comey and crew with what he know publicly without any secret files in secret faults, and yet no one is going after them, and no one went after them in Trump 1.0.

And yet, federal law enforcement and federal prosecutors routinely go after people REALLY HARD with much less information to work with.

For example, I took someones advice and listened to George Santos on Tucker Carlson. For the record: Tucker is still grating to listen to. Santos (who I didn't really follow when he was in Congress) actually came off fairly likeable. But I bring him up to point out he's about to go to federal prison for 7 years for $50,000 worth of questionable spending of campaign money.

So it's not like the DOJ doesn't go after political people with everything they've got SOMETIMES.

And we can go full circle back to Epstein. Who told Acosta to stay out of the 2008 Epstein case because Epstein "worked for intelligence" and why would Acosta listen to that or care?

The way he spoke about it, it almost sounded like it was an order from above and that that was not a bizarre thing to happen.

I would think high ranking CIA officials aren't regularly telling AG's how to handle their cases, and those AG's don't have to listen to anyone at CIA, right?

The frustration runs up against two things:

Empty promises (perhaps just belief in something possibly happening) from Trump's first term and standard DOJ procedure.

The first fed into the second because the DOJ doesn't announce findings of ongoing investigations, plans to arrest people before filing charges, and it means that so much of what the DOJ does regarding criminal investigation is behind the veil. We cannot see it.

So...what's happening there? Who on the outside knows?

FBI uses a case management system called Sentinel. Normally, people can 'see' indexes of documents/numbers even if they lack the need to know for that particular document and thus cannot get access.

Unknown to almost everyone, Sentinel had a special code that allowed the 5th floor to hide the existence of documents to everyone other than those specifically handpicked to be able to access them. Both Comey and Wray kept this secret and it was only found out after Patel and his crew did some digging around to find it. Dunno if Patel suspected the existence or not.

By doing that special coding, essentially the documents were hidden to Congress, FOIA requests, judicial requests, or anyone not privy to being able to even see those particular documents existed. The only ones were cronies of Comey and Wray (mebbe Garland).

Someone had to order the Sentinel system jiggered in such as way to do that. And that would provide 'intent' if it was a direct order from Comey/Wray

For those of you who have only seen Jet Li's more recent USA movies, you might wonder what all the hype was. His earlier Hong Kong and Chinese films -- filmed when he was considerably younger -- show what an amazing martial artist he was. He's the real deal.

188 Those with long memories will recall the Truman White House secured all the State Department security and loyalty files and locked them up, preventing anyone in Congress from seeing just how many Communists and fellow travellers had embedded themselves like ticks in the body politic.

The FBI had done an excellent job of surveillance and building dossiers on these folks.

The Democrats turned the investigation of Communists in government - the Tydings panel mandate, instead into an investigation and an attempt to discredit of the Whistleblowers. The media for their part, did their best as well to cover up. A dirty game that has been played for 80 years now, only worse than ever.

Try sometime to verify that your computers have not been infected with a trojan or malware. Same for positively vetting that someone is not an agent of a foreign power.

The deadliest sort just sits and lies there until time to do something.

Often, like the Sentinel hack, the best place for hiding something is in plain sight--the file system that everyone uses but no one suspects allows a hidden document and indexing system.

So day to day, people with access would query the Sentinel system--Inspector General, Senior FBI execs, agents, etc. and find nothing in the Sentinel system on key topics. So the assumption was nothing was there.

231 All I know of Patel is that he was instrumental in helping Devin Nunes uncover that conspiracy implemented by the Hillary Campaign, the DOJ, the FBI and the Obama White House to frame Trump as a Russian agent in 2016.

If it weren't for those two men, Trump likely would've been impeached instead of Mueller & Co. walking away leaving nothing but a exonerating report and a pissed off Andrew Weissman.

It would've probably taken years before we found out some of the major details about Crossfire Hurricane without Nunes & Patel doing the leg work to get documents subpoenaed and declassified.

So Trump trusts Patel because of all of that and everything else Patel's done for MAGA since Trump's first term.

Is he going to be perfect as FBI director?
Probably not, nobody is perfect.

But he's a lot better than a Comey or Wray any day of the week in my eyes.

Let's hope he and Bongino are on to the entire truth now and we can finally get a real accounting here.

I've wanted all of it out in sunlight since John Durham couldn't get it done and I'd had high hopes for that investigation, only to be extremely disappointed, again.

Epstein was the most low hanging fruit of everything involving the Deep State. It was right in front of the entire nation's eyes.

If he's not willing to open the books completely on that, then we deserve an answer. If it is because he can't take on the Deep State (which is what people mean when they say "the world will end if this list comes out!"), then I'd rather him say that then have his people lie through their teeth to me.

265 Ellipsis,
I can see where you argue that Zimmerman was railroaded by Bondi but with the above recent WND link and this one, it strikes me as boilerplate garbage often said in controversial cases. Scott (probably under Bondi's advice) actually picked Angela Corey and praised her to the heavens in order to forestall racial unrest imho.

And I think some of the bloviating by Bondi about the family was as much to prevent unrest (Florida has had some devastating race riots--Liberty City, etc.) over the years and I am sure both Scott and Bondi had no desire for Crump to manufacture such in the Tampa Bay area.

Something similar caused Kemp to do something similar in the Arberry case and there has been other hot potato cases where special prosecutors were picked like the Smollett cases etc.

The most serious charge for Bondi in Zimmerman was if she abetted the trial judge and the Crump faction in the substitution of Trayvon's girlfriend for the trial. The author wrote a whole book about it but nothing has been done really about the situation to formally adjudge whether this assertion is true or not. So again, a legal system we have, not a justice system.

Even on an old windows or linux box, the sheer cruft of information on a single computer system amazes me. I basically am scrubbing the hard drives and reinstalling the OS to be sure that any personal information is gone.

The author wrote a whole book about it but nothing has been done really about the situation to formally adjudge whether this assertion is true or not. So again, a legal system we have, not a justice system.

It's really weird how nothing is being done about that.

If Zimmerman had been convicted and it came out later that the prosecution had put a fake witness pretending to be another witness on the stand, then the conviction would've been overturned without a doubt.

But because Zimmerman walked nobody seems to care that there was a blatant fraud perpetrated on the court by the State.

The first nose ring/stud I recall seeing was on a stunningly attractive college student, round about 1976.

Posted by: whig at July 15, 2025 01:13 PM (ctrM5)

I liked her. I wonder what she's up to these days.

"are you retarded sir" was a classic, as was "i don't read cursive."

Or when she said Trayvon told her he was going to go confront some "creppy ass n*gga" (IIRC the words correctly) who was following him, but then said that words do not denote sexuality or race.

She was a very entertaining witness.

"Killed while walking home" is enough to taint a future jury. Very very bad. Especially in this particular case where the accused was clearly innocent.

Recall the case had been (correctly) open and shut by all relevant authorities due to Zimmerman's injuries and story and the other contemporaneous facts like that he called the police and you don't call the police when you're about to murder someone in cold blood. All until Jarrett and Crump got ahold of it.

Reopening and establishing a prosecution was more than enough to keep the animals at bay. She could have said "We have the toughest prosecutor and she will get to the bottom of the facts in this case." But she didn't. And I know the woman knows how to equivocate and modulate. Awful awful person. Owned or has terrible judgment or both.

313 241 >>Obama will never be the subject of any investigation.

No, probably not. And I won't get that pony. Ever.

But exposing what has been going on and who did it has its own value. Many, probably most, on the left still think Trump colluded with Russia in 2016. Breaking them and stopping this insanity by exposing the truth is important.

We've come an amazing distance fighting against a corrupt and morally bankrupt government when many said we could never win but we haven't won it all yet.

Never stop fighting until the fight is won.

319 That prosecution was done in DC. If you read the article then you know that the raid on Mar A Lago is part of the conspiracy.

A conspiracy case can be brought in any jurisdiction where part of the conspiracy happened. Mar A Lago is in Florida.

I don't think Trump picked Patel's name out of a hat.

Posted by: JackStraw at July 15, 2025 01:12 PM (viF8m)

I'm just not linking all the cases together in my head like that.

I get how they can link the two through the documents Trump had at Mar-a-Lago, but that's not a direct extension of the conspiracy with Crossfire Hurricane.

Comey, McCabe, and the rest were all gone, they weren't giving the orders.

Jack Smith, etc. is on Wray & Garland and ultimately Biden & the Autopen Politburo.

Maybe they can bring a case, and work the Anywhere-But-DC jurisdiction & statute of limitations issues out, by broadening the net to drag in Comey & Brennan & Co., but I'll have to see it to believe it.

Everyone forgets that the 18 USC 241 charge that Jack Smith brought against President Trump, carried a Death Sentence with it. The excuse for that was Ashli Babbitt who was shot and killed by the Capitol Police.

Eh, judgement call. I have seen far more explicit attempts to tamper with teh jury--namely that of Obama.

Feel free to disagree. S'okay. But I have seen and read a lot of 'political justice' in cases that I am probably cynical about it.

I have instincts on people and things. They only rarely steer me wrong. So that's what I have, and that's my case. I'm pretty sure she had other comments too but I'm not convinced by simple politics on this one. If saving her state was worth burning the country down that's bad judgment.

323 the real problem as I see it is that John Durham had a pretty food indictment of Michael Sussmann, Kevin Clinesmith, and Igor Danchenko.

Only Clinesmith was found to legally have "done something" and the sentence was a joke (you would have gotten more time robbing a 7-11). In the other trials, there was egregious conflicts-of-interest with the jury pool which the alleged judge had absolutely no problem ignoring. Some even made social media posts that should have disqualified them, but the sympathetic judge had no problem ignoring.

326 "I think it's part of a coordinated strategy to deprive people of their constitutional rights to speech and to petition the government for redress of agreements and also the right to counsel," former Trump attorney John Eastman told the John Solomon Reports podcast on Monday.

John Eastman, a brilliant constitutional scholar, did not say "redress of agreements." He said "redress of grievances," just as it says in the First Amendment to the Constitution.
