Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | The Morning Report — 7/11/25![]() But, you see, here’s the thing: People want answers that seem logical, that provide rational explanations to obvious questions, that provide proof that the speculation is wrong. This is particularly true when the people now saying there’s nothing there were the very people who promised that answers, transparency, and accountability would be coming when they won. Well, they won, and we’re getting the same obfuscation. . . The problem here is that this is all happening in an environment where Americans are coming to believe that no one is ever accountable for their actions. We see city centers across the country imploding as stores, shops, and hotels close because of the crime that sees hoodlums, thugs, and drug addicts in urban centers basically take or destroy with impunity whatever they want. We see judges issue injunctions against the administration despite SCOTUS specifically ruling they can’t. At the same time, we have politicians, Antifa, and activists undermining, hindering, and assaulting ICE agents who are trying to deport criminals, and the chances of them being held accountable for these crimes are almost nonexistent.Bingo. Of course Democrat/Leftist politicians and sometimes their useful RINO confederates are protected up until the point where they become political liabilities, and then they are thrown to the wolves. When roving bands of criminals, domestic terrorists and criminal domestic terrorists can riot, loot and burn with impunity while the average citizen is arrested, and tried for self defense (Kyle Rittenhouse) or worse, arrested, tried and imprisoned for merely exercising their first amendment right of free speech (1/6/21 in DC, at school board meetings and abortion abattoirs), a very dangerous precedent is set that can only end in the breakdown of the civil society as trust in our institutions that are meant to preserve said society is completely eroded. Look at it this way. When degenerate scum like Jasmine Crockett and Karen Bass and the majority of their fellow Democrat politicians — again John Fetterman being the surprising lone voice of sanity and reason in that Snake Pit of Evil — openly call for violent resistance to Ice and law enforcement in carrying out their legitimate duties to arrest, detain and deport illegal aliens, What does that do to the morale and effectiveness of the officers on the front line? Answer: it destroys it and will ultimately lead to their dissolution or worse their defection to the terrorists and criminals and maybe the ultimate formation of citizens brigades that will arm and protect themselves even if it means using deadly force to do so. Is that what we really want? Answer that any way you want, but for sure it might very well be where we are heading, and then all bets are off. Elsewhere, President Trump's near 180 degree pivot on Ukraine is disappointing if not outright alarming in its potential implications. Some, like Tucker Carlson (who seems to spend half his time in the Gulf and seems to have offered flattering interviews to every Muslim tyrant in the region), were obvious agents of foreign influence, others may have been sincere in their hysteria, but the combined effect made the movement look like clowns, especially once they were proven wrong. Most refused to admit they were wrong, but have gone on claiming that if it wasn’t for their bedwetting, we’d all be dead. Whoever won the debate on social media is hard to say, but we all know who won the debate in real life. Trump acted and shrugged off the antics. But, interestingly, there are signs he’s pivoting on Ukraine. While that may be in part hardball negotiating politics due to Putin’s refusal to make a deal, but it seems to have ramped up after the same people who had vocally argued against U.S. support for Ukraine burned up all their credibility trying to stop a U.S. strike on Iran’s nukes. There is no doubt that a severely degraded if not completely destroyed Iranian nuclear program is a wonderful thing for world peace and security. Whether America should have been directly involved in delivering the coup de grace Qom shot at the Fordow foundation is something that even I, as an ardent supporter of Israel, thought beforehand was not the best course of action but what's done is done, and as stated, and the nuke program is a smoldering ruin. What emerges from the ashes there and in the Iranian government are still big question marks. But President Trump's meddling in a war between Russia and Ukraine that has much less if not zero national security ramifications for America, unlike the Iranian nuclear program, is a head-scratcher. Russia as of right now will likely win the war and even if Trump does push Putin and Shecky Zelensky to a negotiation table, does anyone really think that Putin is going to surrender a single inch of territory? Regardless of the fact that Putin started this latest round of war, there is going to have to be some give and take on both sides, so what will Ukraine give up in order to stop the carnage? As for Trump, is he merely doing this to get a Nobel Peace Prize, which would never happen anyway? What does Donald Trump and the USA have to gain by meddling here and potentially getting involved in a war that could very quickly get out of hand where a lot of hair would get mussed . . "depending on the breaks" as General Buck Turgidson would say. I think a better use of our military forces would be to degrade and destroy Antifa and those who are funding them here at home. Months of violent left-wing anti-ICE rhetoric achieved its apparently desired end state this week as an alleged Antifa cell conducted an attempted assassination of police officers outside the Praireland Detention Center, being used by Immigration and Customs Enforcement as a detention facility for illegal aliens. On July 4, 11 black-garbed individuals, some equipped with body armor, ammunition, and firearms, conducted what the Department of Justice described as a “planned ambush.” Two of the attackers allegedly opened fire on ICE officers after their comrades initiated a disturbance to lure officers out of the building and into the line of fire by launching fireworks and spray painting anti-ICE slogans on nearby property. A police officer was shot in the neck but is expected to live. According to the criminal complaint filed by the Department of Justice, pamphlets on insurrectionary anarchism and propaganda materials, including a “Resist Fascism” flag, were recovered by law enforcement. And lastly, a quick shout-out and thank you for your continued support in hitting our tip jar. Yeah, it's amazing, after 5 or 6 years of Trump that people take any development regarding him at face value. It's all negotiating, and keeping the involved parties off-balance. Everything could change at a moment's notice. Regarding this stuff, he recently said that these defensive weapons are "hard to get", and maybe even that we need to stock up on them for ourselves first. But bedwetters gonna bedwet. What we really know for sure is that he wants it ended. Less certain is the theory that Ukraine's war is a Globalist money-laundering operation, and that Putin (as opposed to Russia as a whole) is also anti-Globalist. But Trump DOES seem to be working with Putin on things (Putin denied weapons to Iran, for example). Posted by: MrExcitement at July 11, 2025 07:50 AM (hOOi9) 26

Putin may give back some territory around the edges but the Donbas and Crimea are never going back to Ukraine unless the Untied States goes to war with Russia and takes them back. That isn’t happening. Putin has laid out his demands to end the war repeatedly, but D.C. and the E.U. don’t like the demands and instead pretend they can dictate the terms to Putin as though we’re winning this thing. It’s a stalemate and Russia is consolidating its gains while pushing west to capture more territory. Putin won’t stop until he gets a guarantee of no future Ukraine membership in NATO, preferably with new leadership at the helm. The EU, having sold this entire war as an existential crisis, can’t stop now. They want to build their dream army and this war is the only way they can do that Posted by: SpeakingOf at July 11, 2025 07:55 AM (6ydKt) 38

Absolutely not, and Bondi is trying to figure out ways to make a bad situation worse by the way she is incompetently handling this. Trump was all in on Transparency, and to date it has served him very well with reëstablishing credibility with a understandably cynical public. The Three Stooges are messing this up so much, that it almost looks more like sabotage rather than raw incompetence. • admit that there is a mountain of evidence • tell people that the three-letter agencies have worked over the years to exploit espionage and extortion opportunities and have taken money to destroy inconvenient records • handing the data over to the Fifth Column media will result in character assassination and the destruction of innocent by-standers. • exposure of some guilty people is a National Security issue. Admit that some people are too big to jail. We already know this and already have hatred and contempt for all of those involved. Paxton's affair was the instigating incident of his corruption investigation and impeachment. It was on the news every day for a year or so in Texas. His wife is a Texas senator. She sat in the Senate and listened to the testimony.
1. This is already baked into the cake for Texas voters. They know and still prefer Paxton to Cornyn. 2. This was going to come up in the campaign. Something something woman scorned. I hope they have horrific nightmares every single night for decades. You shat your own bed, you can lie in it. Current ICE agents will be all but unemployable under future admins. I'll bet there are a substantial number of them that are relishing it. What person wants to be an ICE agent to begin with. At what price are they selling their souls to do this inhumane deed? Trump will have to fill the ranks by pardoning more (Aryan) thugs. Don't believe it. Putin has lost all trust in dealing with the West.
As the Russians have repeatedly stated that they were promised by Jim Baker that NATO would not move an inch east, and for the past thirty years it’s gone further and further towards Moscow. I’m no Russophile but they were really treated terribly by the West in that regard. Putin was practically begging W. to join NATO and we basically brushed them off and then went to war in the M.E. while NATO got more aggressive gobbling up Eastern Europe. Angela Merkel has admitted that the Minsk Accords, meant to stop the fighting in eastern Ukraine after 2014 were designed solely to give Ukraine time to rearm and take back the lost territories. So the Russians don’t believe the West negotiates in good faith, and don’t trust our leadership to keep their word on any agreements made. Putin has decided to take what he needs and dictate the end of the war on his own terms because of all that. He’ll try to negotiate with Trump but he knows the U.S. is only half the problem and the EU & Ukraine are the intransigent parties preventing an agreement because they want to keep fighting no matter what the Americans are doing. I'm getting to that point. You have no accusers and no accused. With no accused, you have no crime. Again, Maxwell peddled underaged girls to Epstein for what? Housekeeping duties on the island? If you want to say for sex, there had better be johns named. Otherwise, no proof = no crime. Posted by: rickb223 at July 11, 2025 08:27 AM (8v2yu) Under the deal, victims of Epstein who were affected by his sex trafficking during the time when he was a customer of Deutsche Bank, from 2013 through 2018, would receive at least $75,000 and up to $5 million depending on an evaluation of their claims. Ukraine is the proxy in this proxy war.
We’re kinda tied to them at the hip here. This was W. & O’s doing, not Trump’s. For some reason, our geniuses in DC thought it wise to take Georgia & Ukraine apjust to stick it to the Russians and hem them in with no buffer countries in between them and NATO. The Russians, unsurprisingly, did not go along with the plan. If it had been me in 2014, I’d have realized we’d reached the redline at that point and made a deal with Putin then, on much more favorable terms which could’ve put all this to bed. But nope, they just had to keep poking the bear and here we are. Pull out American all financial & military aid and let the EU take ownership of this thing - and then tell them flat out to proceed with caution because we aren’t coming to the rescue this time if it gets out of hand. That’s about the only way this thing will end any time soon, because threats and sanctions aren’t scaring the Russkies one iota - they are used to it by now. Blondi and co won't release the list of Epstein clients because the Deep State has demanded that it not be release - likely because it will destroy the faith that people have in their government.

You can say what you want about the economy and deportations, but I'm guessing that a lot of younger voters who thought Trump would end the foreign wars and expose the Epstein stuff are more than happy to shrug their shoulders during the mid-terms and ask, "Why bother?"
And they're not wrong. All those podcasting bros that Trump smartly courted are all asking what the hell is going on. They hold sway. This has been a less than good last few weeks. Posted by: The Central Scrutinizer at July 11, 2025 08:52 AM (j/vBG) 207

But our betters just couldn’t accept a country inclined to electing dictatorships, and the old guard at the Pentagon would never accept people thst they’d been trained to think of as our evil forever enemy their entire lives. I get why it didn’t happen but can’t help but wonder what 2025 would like if we had. One thing is for sure, this war wouldn’t be happening because if we had let Russia into NATO, Ukraine and the other former Soviet republics probably would’ve come in right along with them. Regarding politicians as snakes. Mrs. Paxton is a state senator. She won Ken’s state house seat when he won in the senate. Then she won his senate seat when he became AG. She has higher aspirations. I don't give a flying fuck if Epstein killed himself or not. I want the fucking list of perverts to be front and center on a website or blog. The names need to be released. Prince Andrew got his head chopped off so why have there not been any other names released. Pr. Andrew wasn't the only one boffing young girls. Inquiring minds want to know.

NASA’s DART asteroid redirection mission may have inadvertently made future asteroid deflections much more challenging after its test sent boulders hurtling through space on unexpected trajectories. In September 2022, the DART mission successfully altered the orbit of asteroid moon Dimorphos. Unfortunately, the smaller space rocks that were dislodged when the kinetic impactor struck the natural satellite achieved three times the momentum of the spacecraft that created them. The University of Maryland-led team (UMD) behind the new research paper on DART’s repercussions cautions that results demonstrate planetary defense may be considerably more complex than previously suspected.

Good morning, all, and thanks, J.J.
So much to ponder, none of it likeable, but then the weekend is almost here. James Whitey Bulger v. Jeffrey Epstein could take up much of the time. Prince Andrew was able attend his brother King Charles III's coronation ceremony on May 6, 2023, wearing his Order of the Garter robes, and it has just been reported the FBI has dropped its investigation into the prince's links with Jeffrey. (See NY Post, Entertainment, Prince Andrew free to travel abroad as FBI ends probe into royal’s Jeffrey Epstein links, By Nika Shakhnazarova, Published July 10, 2025) Then there's, "President Trump's near 180 degree pivot on Ukraine is disappointing if not outright alarming in its potential implications." v. 27 ex-EU ambassadors: 'Suspend the Israel trade agreement' Jul 11, 2025, Euobserver. (How many ex-USAIDers are involved? Seems like they'd all be besties in the past.) Also the gazillion tariff proposals, resultant whiplash, and related EU articles, i.e., DW News (A German Public Broadcast Service), 'Does the European Union need to call Trump's bluff?' (Who the hell are friends of the US? They can probably be counted on a hand.) Cont'd - Posted by: L - No nic, another fine day at July 11, 2025 10:29 AM (NFX2v) 362
And also from above: "According to the criminal complaint filed by the Department of Justice, pamphlets on insurrectionary anarchism and propaganda materials, including a “Resist Fascism” flag, were recovered by law enforcement."
What about 'Resist Fascism Flag(s)'?! I'm shocked to learn that manufacturing such flags, t-shirts, visor hats, etc. is, and has been, quite the American business! They're available through Etsy, Ebay, Amazon, many mainstream printing and flag shops, and more, and come in a variety of types, colors, expanded slogans & symbols, and so on! (No, that's neither an Ad nor an endorsement on my part for yet another DeepState Op. All, imho, of course.) -- Good weekend! 🤗 Prayers for ALL in need. 🙏🕯 Posted by: L - No nic, another fine day at July 11, 2025 10:29 AM (NFX2v) 363

The history of Yugoslavia and the UN's & Nato's involvement are difficult to study (for me) but continue to be relevant. Posted by: L - No nic, another fine day at July 11, 2025 10:55 AM (NFX2v) Processing 0.07, elapsed 0.0702 seconds. |
