JustTheNews: The Secret Service Tracked James Comey After His "86 47" Call for Assassinating the President

86 James Comey.

Hey, it's just a group of sea shells I thought was interesting. I don't mean anything by that. Just some completely random numbers and letters I randomly typed out.

The Secret Service tracked former FBI Director James Comey after a social media post in May that critics of it say called for killing President Trump.

...

Three anonymous government officials told The New York Times that law enforcement authorities in unmarked cars and street clothes tracked the location of Comey's cellphone the day after he posted on Instagram a picture of the numbers etched in the sand at a beach via seashells.

Comey deleted the post, which was captioned "Cool shell formation on my beach walk." In a follow-up post, Comey said, "I posted earlier a picture of some shells I saw today on a beach walk, which I assumed were a political message. I didn't realize some folks associate those numbers with violence. It never occurred to me but I oppose violence of any kind so I took the post down."

Authorities tailed Comey and his wife, Patrice, as they drove from their North Carolina vacation through Virginia to their home in the Washington, D.C., area, the officials said, citing "exigent" circumstances for the justification.

The Secret Service was also receiving information showing the location of Comey's phone while federal law enforcement were at his home waiting for him to return, according to the officials, The Times also reports.

Comey was interviewed over the phone by the Secret Service the evening of the day that he shared the post, and he said he had no intent to cause the president harm. The Secret Service still wanted to interview Comey at their headquarters the next day, so agency personnel met him when he arrived home from vacation and drove him to the D.C. office, where they questioned him.

...

Comey has not been charged with a crime, and the status of the inquiry is unclear.

...

A representative for Comey declined to comment to the Times.

...

Trump also responded to Comey's initial post and follow-up explanation, saying, "He knew exactly what that meant. A child knows what that meant. If you're the FBI director and you don't know what that meant? That meant assassination. And it says it loud and clear."

Related: Tulsi Gabbard has assembled a team to find and punish those in the Deep State weaponizing the government.

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has reportedly launched an initiative aimed at preventing bad actors from using their positions to weaponize intelligence agencies against Americans for political reasons.

The Washington Post reported that Gabbard has formed a new team called the Director's Initiative Group (DIG) to access the chat logs and emails of US intelligence agencies. This move is intended to comply with President Donald Trump's executive order to "end the weaponization of the federal government" while dismantling DEI initiatives and revealing political bias within these agencies.

However, some have taken issue with the initiative, arguing that it would result in the department gathering sensitive information on millions of American citizens. The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) characterized the initiative as an effort "to expose the truth and end the politicization and weaponization of intelligence against Americans."

DIG has already obtained unclassified communications from the Intelligence Advanced Research Proejcts Activity and is planning to leverage artificial intelligence technology to analyze the data.

Critics who spoke with The Washington Post on condition of anonymity expressed fears that this move could compromise sensitive information while targeting employees for political retaliation. "They wanted access to everybody's systems," one source told the news outlet.

Oh, the spies object to being spied on...?

Well then, you go right back to leaking top secret documents to the press and tipping off CHIRLA and Trantifa about coming ICE raids.

Normally I'm against this kind of thing, but also, normally a former FBI director doesn't call for the assassination of the sitting president.

So I'm fine with the secret service harassing him a bit.

42 Ok, I'm going to piss everyone off and defend Barrett and Bondi.

Bondi is not idle. Every time you see a court smack around a rogue judge, that is her work. She is the one picking the lawyers, approving the arguments, and slowly, inexorably boxing in the courts. We don't know what's going on with Epstein, but it is peak hair-on-fire for people to lose their shit over an unsigned, undated letter release to AXIOS - that beacon of journalistic integrity.

Why not let MSNBC pick your next target? It's that stupid.

ACB's ruling left a gap for "class action" suits, but it also set guidelines, which have been disregarded. Moreover, you only get one bite of the apple with a class action- if it's turned down, it's over. This is much better than a thousand cases being filed in a thousand courts hoping that one judge will give you the TRO.

Both of them are worth 1,000 Souters/Jeff Sessions.

They clearly allowed bogus warrants to be certified by the court under false pretenses.

They also allowed all kinds of unauthorized access into the NSA files, etc.

I am always personally pissed when someone defrauds me, plus even more pissed when it was attempted in a business scenario where I was also responsible for other people's money.

Do these judges have no honor and no desire to clean up a system that has clearly been penetrated and corrupted?

I just have no faith that anything will be done about this.

And Pam Bondi set the clock, not me. She said they'd release everything back in, what, February? And then she said the FBI was stonewalling her, but Kash Patel was going to set that right and have everything on her desk by that weekend?

And now she's saying "when I said I had Epsteins list on my desk, I meant I had a FILE on my desk. There is no list."

And it's not like this happened yesterday. Epstein was arrested in 2019. It's 2025. Statute of limitations is running, and probably has already run on most of the crimes. Why would there be any legitimate need for further delay, and why would Bondi, Patel, Bongino, and now Trump all say there is nothing to see?

147 Tulsi's in a hornet's nest. She's proving to be more adapt than Bondi... someone at, or nearly so, at the same level.

I'm hoping that Noem upstages her by the ultimate sneak attack.

You know that huge increase in funding to train up ICE agents? That means new agents, not the old traitorous ones we have now in other three letter agencies.

So Noem builds up this army of patriotic, young guns who will have a few years of practical experience in investigation, surveillance and take-downs.

Then BOOM

Public frustration with the Three Stooges brings about not only their dismissing but also a realization that the FBI is unredeemable and must be shut down like the Department of Education.

The New and Improved ICE - without the toxic seditionists, communist, saboteurs and demonic sociopaths assumes the FBI's former duties.

That would be a coup I could get behind, and its already in progress whether they planned it or not.

Hmmm.. I'd have to think about it, but my first instinct is that I would rather have the 20 million deportations then have proof of what the deep state is up to and how it operates years down the road, which is what would come out with the Epstein stuff.

If it comes out in 20 years, it'll be like the JFK stuff now. Even if it was proven that the CIA killed JFK, I think most people would go "huh. That's weird. But whatever, it happened a long time ago, who cares?"

In other words, the longer this drags on, the less impactful the Epstein stuff will be.

Not necessarily true. I know (state) legislators who understood the dangers and temptations of politics and created 'fraternities' where they monitored each other and did bed checks. They knew that a thousand sweet young things would be flung at them.

Mike Pence ultimately bent the knee, but his rule of staying away from women without his wife being there was wise.

217 I am willing to trade 20 million deportations for Epstein's secrets being revealed only after Bill Clinton's death.

As much as I would love to see justice to those perverts who destroyed those girls' lives, that is likely only to happen at The Great Judgement Day.

The current composition of the DOJ and FBI and the courts and juries are likely to make this one long unending shit show with very disappointing, but expected result.

The jus soil argument has been kicked around in countless legal groups for years, there just hasn't been any administration willing to try the case.

A lot of what Trump is wanting to do has been cultivated in think tanks for ages, and new ideas are being looked at by non-federal lawyers who aren't corrupted and serve only The Party and their pensions.

The DOJ's lawyers are total jokes, can only handle process "crimes" because none of them can tell Right from Wrong and don't know how to deal with rogue judges.

You have to give Trump time to get the private law and think tank lawyers to do his heavy legal lifting.

I don't care if there are Democrats noticing the same thing I am about the Epstein situation. Good, in fact, maybe we can get some bipartisan support to go after the Deep State. This is bigger than political parties.

And this is not a purity test. This is something that Trump ran on and half of his cabinet (including his VP) were extremely vocal about prior to the election.

We know them as Big Box Christianity. If you listen enough to CCM stations and the radio preachers, when parsing their Invitation To Know Jesus pleas, invariably Jesus is some Snake Oil that cures whatever damage that you have done to your life.

And that is why the Big Box church has the highest percentage of broken families and divorce rate compared to the public at large. The marketers directly target that demographic.

To have a little fun with Scriptures:

“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.
But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” — Matthew 7:13–14

The Big Box known for the Gavin Newsoms of the Clergy, are the "wide gate" since a lot of nominal "Christians" go there for amusement, entertainment and a wholesome place to dump off the kids for a few hours.

Or as was defined elsewhere: Therapeutic, Moralistic Deism is their theology.

Well the assumption is that the entity being Protested on is the Grand old Catholic Church. If you splinter from another Protestant church I don't think they give you a double protestant title for it, you just inherit the original label.

286 I classify "Protestant" as non-Carholic that are also not Orthodox.

Anglicans, Lutherans, Baptists, Methodists, Nazarenes, Seventh Day Adventists, the big mega-church places, the small storefront churches, etc. all qualify in my mind.

Orthodox (whichever country flavor) are nearly identical doctrine-wise and sacraments are valid between them. There are just management org chart issues, lol.

But in the scheme of things, all these groups are fully acceptable to me when compared to islam.

So has DJT with several affairs. I think part of it is a misconception from people who are not Southerners about how evangelicals vote. Bulshit Bulwark has the same misconception as do the major media.

Continuing to sin is a problem--eg. getting caught repeatedly doing crap while claiming innocence. Such as a drunk who continue to get arrested for being a drunk or a someone chasing little girls/boys or abusing power. Beyond that, evangelicals are just as capable of determining where their policy interests are best served by which politician as any other upper class voter might do.

That is why bullshit artists like David French or the lefty asshole infiltrator that the Southern Baptist hired before spitting him out due to his actions. Name escapes me. Evangelicals are no less and no more intelligent in steering their votes as any other group in society.

Not really. It is more that one should go and sin no more (see Jesus discussing with the Samaritan woman at Jacob's well for clarification).

Jesus and his Father can actually see into the hearts of mankind and know what lurks there in all its glory and ugliness. True repentance means living a different life from that day forward as to walk in the footsteps of Christ and follow him.

Those that fake it and pretend are known by Christ and soon that rottenness and falsity becomes apparent to other believers.

Same with deathbed confessions by murderers, thieves, wife beaters, etc. You have to actually have changed in your heart and desire contrition before it is granted.

Most of the differences between the Christian denominations rest with relatively minor doctrinal emphasis rather than one is totally separate from the others.
