Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | FBI Now Investigating John Brennan and James Comey for Crimes Including Perjury and... ConspiracyThat's what you said, right? You said "no one is above the law," right?A lot of J6ers spent years in jail for Conspiring to Parade. ... The Brennan investigation comes after Ratcliffe last week declassified a "lessons learned" review of the creation of the 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA). The 2017 ICA alleged Russia sought to influence the 2016 presidential election to help then-candidate Donald Trump. But the review found that the process of the ICA's creation was rushed with "procedural anomalies," and that officials diverted from intelligence standards. It also determined that the "decision by agency heads to include the Steele Dossier in the ICA ran counter to fundamental tradecraft principles and ultimately undermined the credibility of a key judgment." The dossier -- an anti-Trump document filled with unverified and wholly inaccurate claims that was commissioned by Fusion GPS and paid for by Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton's campaign and the DNC -- has been widely discredited. Last week's review marks the first time career CIA officials have acknowledged politicization of the process by which the ICA was written, particularly by Obama-era political appointees. Records declassified as part of that review further revealed that Brennan did, in fact, push for the dossier to be included in the 2017 ICA. Brennan testified to the House Judiciary Committee in May 2023, however, that he did not believe the dossier should be included in that intelligence product. ... The false statements portion of the probe stems from a newly declassified email sent to Brennan by the former deputy CIA director in December 2016. That message said that including the dossier in the ICA in any capacity jeopardized "the credibility of the entire paper." "Despite these objections, Brennan showed a preference for narrative consistency over analytical soundness," the new CIA review states. "When confronted with specific flaws in the Dossier by the two mission center leaders -- one with extensive operational experience and the other with a strong analytic background -- he appeared more swayed by the Dossier's general conformity with existing theories than by legitimate tradecraft concerns." The review added: "Brennan ultimately formalized his position in writing, stating that 'my bottomline is that I believe that the information warrants inclusion in the report.'" But Brennan testified the opposite in front of Congress in May 2023.Happy Wednesday! Comments(Jump to bottom of comments)1

FWIW, Brennan's house was very close to mine. Just a small neighborhood. He stayed because his wife didn't want to move. So there'd be black Suburbans parked in several places.
He paid his HOA dues on time though. And our street was plowed immediately after a snow, so there's that. Serious jerk though. 27 FWIW, Brennan's house was very close to mine. Just a small neighborhood. He stayed because his wife didn't want to move. So there'd be black Suburbans parked in several places.
He paid his HOA dues on time though. And our street was plowed immediately after a snow, so there's that. Serious jerk though. Had one of his detail come to my house and complain that my kids were too loud in the backyard. Little things, but then little things make up the big picture, right? An actual potentially legit thing to be upset about, as opposed to the crap most fixate on, is that six months in, with field enforcement by ICE and CBP being done beautifully, there has been no corresponding hammer brought down on employers. Or elected officials (who have openly flaunted their felonious conduct in sheltering and aiding illegal aliens).
The latter I ascribe to venue/strategery issues (not easy to find a place with a lawless idiotic Dem guvamint that also has a jury pool that would ever convict the perps). But the former, starting to get uneasy. The big missing element in the toolbox - most of whose contents are being used well at the moment - is the chilling effect of employer perp walks, businesses being closed, etc. It's likely that the combo of raids, tough talk, positive incentives to self-deport etc are producing a decent outflow. But if employers start being hammered, the pool temperature for illegals will go from cool to North Atlantic in winter. Posted by: rhomboid at July 09, 2025 01:00 PM (1m82a) 285

Even if it can be shown beyond a shadow of a doubt that both of them committed actual crimes, a DC jury will never convict them. Conservatives will convict other conservatives, but for liberals we have now entered the "if you share my marxist beliefs then I'll never convict you" phase of the decline. This case is a posterchild for Ace's idea that either the defendant or the prosecutor should be able to request for politically-related crimes a transfer of venue to a more politically neutral jurisdiction.

(TwZXH). The thing is the protagonist in green eggs and ham would not even try them until some 'peer pressure' made him take a taste. Its hardly choking down something you know you don't like because all the cool kids are doing it. And it is not like giving away something you need to live like a fish's scales just because other fish are jealous that your scales are prettier than their scales.

> Read it. It's indisputable. Whether it has any impact on its readers, I have no idea. But the story speaks for itself.
The bulk of the book is the speaker saying he doesn't want to try any of the green foods. He does finally relent and tries the food. I suppose you could say this is giving in to peer pressure. But he's not pressured into liking the food, which he does. I suppose you could say the point is to give in to peer pressure, but I think a more charitable reading is that you should give some things a chance, because you may enjoy them. Employers are vulnerable in most cases, and if it's the contracted body shops doing the crime, they're vulnerable, and nuking them will achieve the desired result.
There have been detailed strategies on the books since the first term to systematically address the "W-2 illegals" issue, but so far it's an actual case of "nothing is happening" (actually not nothing, but little - there have been some small to medium-ish raids, though few serious consequences for employers beyond disruption). Could be like DOJ - they're busier than a one-legged man in an ass-kicking contest dealing with the tsunami of lawfare from the collapsed judiciary, as well as the legal side of implementing many of Trump's "radical" moves. ICE/CBP are at full speed across the board. Perhaps the enhanced resources brought by the BBB will enable the things I'm talking about. Trump's made some really stupid comments about ag and hospitality getting special treatment, he even alluded to amnesty - no exaggeration. So there could be deeper problems. The second of two defendants from Nevada who were charged in Minnesota with conspiracy to commit voter registration fraud pleaded guilty Tuesday, federal prosecutors announced. Ronnie Williams, 58, entered his plea before US District Judge Laura Provinzino in St. Paul. Court records don't say whether there was a formal plea agreement. So, just by knowing the charges were false, as Obama, Biden, Brennan, Comey, Clapper, Brennan, and Susan Rice knew they were then they can all be prosecuted for their decisions to prosecute, as can other Obama Administration officials.
