Mons Olympus on Mars

Little kid group "The Greystones" play "Don't Stop Believing."

Flashback: Metal heads hanging out in the parking lot before a Judas Priest show, back in the 80s.

Lion and tiger cubs roughhousing.

Juvenile bat squeaks for pets.

Dog tries to keep a family of bears under control.

Bulldog loves to skateboard.

Playing hide and seek with a golden retriever.

Impression of a guy at a party who only knows one part of "Tiny Dancer."

Baby has seven shepherd siblings.

Out of control.

Dog is a fan of the ponies.

31 New York Times has the sadz. American workers are getting hired instead of Haitians.

Trump’s Purge of Foreign Workers Arrives at Amazon’s Warehouses

**

Two weeks later, Mr. Jerome, 35, lost his job. His work authorization was revoked in late June after the Trump administration ended a Biden-era program that allowed him to live and work legally in the United States. Hundreds of others at the same Amazon building in West Jefferson, which employs more than 3,700 people, also lost their jobs.

They are among thousands of foreign workers across the country who have been swept up in a quiet purge, pushed out of jobs in places where their labor was in high demand and at times won high praise. While raids to nab undocumented workers in fields and Home Depot parking lots have grabbed attention, the job dismissals at the Amazon warehouse are part of the Trump administration’s effort to thin the ranks of immigrants who had legal authorization to work.

“This is not unique to Amazon,” said Viles Dorsainvil, a Haitian community leader in nearby Springfield. He is aware of more than 100 Haitians with work authorizations who are now out of work in the area, he said.

Actually, I was thinking of getting a spray bottle for a few minor issues but did research and changed my mind.

I got her a cat tree that is behind my Lazyboy in my bedroom. Also Sticky Paws which is supposed to protect furniture. And I'm ordering double sided tape for cats to stop the counter hopping.

She has a bunch of toys but aside from the scratching posts, the fish, the round ball thing and her cat tree, are there any other great toys for cats that will tire them out.

She was an outdoor cat.

Olympus Mons ("Mt. Olympus") is the biggest volcano in the whole damned solar system. It's base is about the size of Arizona, and it's 2.5 times higher than Mt. Everest relative to the Martian equivalent of sea level.

Mars is also home to Valles Marineris, the biggest canyon system in the solar system, making the Grand Canyon look like a little baby canyon. The system is about 2500 miles long, and 23,000' deep.

47 HAHA, our favorite drag queen, Pattie Gonia, is supposedly the first frag queen to hit the Time's hot 100 list.

Before RuPaul? Is this real? The drag mother who kickstarted off the whole drag craze with his Drag Race reality show, and turned it into an emmy winning show franchise?

Supposedly you can buy your way onto the list. So if RuPaul's never been on it because he refused to buy his way in, good on him, honestly.

So now, drag queens desecrating our national parks by hanging pride flags all over them gets celebrated. Sounds right.

Not sure what the technical or legal significance, if any, of Trump's "authorizing" response to attacks on LE/ICE vehicles, but I've been surprised that there has been no (visible) counter-measures to this problem. Of course tactical situations vary, so discretion is needed. But very strong non-lethal means (rubber bullets, taser, gas, hickory shampoos) seem appropriate with these mobs.

Stairway to Stardom was a public-access television series that aired in New York City from 1979 to the early 1990s. It was described by NPR as "an amateur talent show many see as a low-rent precursor to American Idol. Taped "in what appeared to be a freshly carpeted Staten Island basement."

125 I am on my way back from Texas, and watched in disbelief as THUGS were violently throwing rocks and bricks at ICE Officers while they were moving down a roadway in their car and/or official vehicle. Tremendous damage was done to these brand new vehicles. I know for a fact that these Officers are having a hard time with allowing this to happen in that it shows such total disrespect for LAW AND ORDER. Therefore, I am directing Secretary of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem, and Border Czar, Tom Homan, to instruct all ICE, Homeland Security, or any other Law Enforcement Officer who is on the receiving end of thrown rocks, bricks, or any other form of assault, to stop their car, and arrest these SLIMEBALLS, using whatever means is @RealDonaldTrump

Posted by: Maj. Healey at July 11, 2025 08:33 PM (/U5Yz)

126 Itinerant Butcher, definitely something like that. But also more "capacity", so arrests can be made for obstruction/assault. So you're adding quite a bit to your convoy. But seems overdue. Again, tactical considerations vary, as well as resources.

But I don't think this is a hopeless measure/counter-measure dynamic. Tasers rubber bullets + arrests/prosecutions, if served generously, will decrease the appetite for this nonsense.

And Blonde Morticia, not all the perps are danger-hair idiots. Some are fit, young-ish, borderline psycho idiots, and violent. So need to be taken seriously.

151 Skip, it isn't. Feds have similar laws, they're pretty much standard for all law enforcement of course. That's why many have been impatient with all this. But again, ICE/CBP and even BORTAC (BP's SWAT) have to use their judgement in a given situation. Numbers.

With surveillance of ICE/BP (another amazing thing - gotta think there's a criminal culpability in all that), deception has been used, and will be used again, to fool the idiots. With more resources (soon, not yet), they might be able to pull more spoofing and misdirection ops.

160 Couple of people requested an update at the end of my 1st day's ride. Posted earlier, but got willpower almost immediately.

Here it is again.

Posted this morning that I was taking the weekend to ride the motorcycle off road for 300 miles of the Trans-America Trail, from Elkton,TN -to- just Sounth of Corinth, MS. Made it to my 1st night stop over in Waynesdorro, TN.

As luck would have it, I went down in a very low speed (like 1mph low speed) water crossing. Mossy moldy slick rock under about 8" of water. Could see the bottom. Had my feet out like training wheels to help support the bike, but the front wheel caught a small rock Crack and slipped right out from under me. Broke the left mirror, and drenched my lef leg quad muscles. This puts and end to my trip because I won't be able to lift the bike if I drop it again.

Ice, ibuprofen, elevation. I'll head home in the morning. This summer moose cock. Was looking forward to the rest of the trip.

Made multiple water crossings safely, one that was almost 2' deep too! Dang slippery full sunlight moss on the rock got me.

That's the beautiful part of a conspiracy, the clock on the statute of limitations for a conspiracy starts with the last overt act of the conspiracy. Everything that happened as part of the conspiracy is fair game.

According to Solomon, the last act of the conspiracy case the DOJ is bringing happened in 2024 with the Democrats lawfare to try and keep Trump from winning.

Now he could be full of shit but if wanted to lose all credibility in a more spectacular fashion if he's wrong then I can't imagine what it would be. He's predicting we will start to see fireworks in the next 10 days so we won't have to wait long.

I'll live. I've been riding since at least '75 or '76. Been down twice counting today. What i did learn though. Was to ID the black mossy stuff and then walk the water crossing for a good line. Possibly carrying gravel and dumping it on that line so I have traction. Peeves me that I found a non-mossy line in the shade about twenty feet upstream. Experiencing painful lessons learned is the best teacher.

In the ONT comment #153, buddhaha addressed the question of ICE (and other LEO) not being identified for doxxing, but also "to be held accountable for any illegal behavior." The commenter suggested "identifying 6 digit numbers that are large enough to be read at 10 feet, front and back of tac vest…." See the comment for full idea:

That seemed possible to me, although any code can be cracked, any system hacked.

You know those rubber masks that look realistic and can fool facial ID methods? (Search on "realistic rubber masks" if you don't know about them.) It might be expensive and somewhat uncomforable, but what if the officers wore those? Wouldn't look like they were wearing masks, but wouldn't be identifiable. This piece of debris that made that little fireball was part of the Beta Taurid stream. The Tunguska event was likely a large chunk of Beta Taurid.

The controversial Younger Dryas impact hypothesis (global reset about 12K years ago) might have been really large Beta Taurid debris.

The bad thing about these is they come out of the sun relative to the earth's position when it crosses the stream, making them hard to detect.

Anyone can have a dumb idea or three about what really happened around Epstein but if they do it's only because sufficient answers have not been provided.

Let's start here, Mr. Reality Check - What percentage of high profile people who had recently been on suicide watch are successful in offing themselves while in custody? I'll give you a hint: use Jeffrey Epstein as the numerator.
