Forty two years ago, the cartoon animation video game Dragon's Lair hit the arcades.

On vet's orders, this man is giving his senior dog a traction stretch and the dog is loving it.

A flower farm in Japan.

This poor cat wedged himself behind a door to dig out the kibble that had spilled there, but the dog got the best of him.

Some kids thought they'd do a drive-by squirting but grandpa didn't survive two world wars to get soaked by a bunch of wet-nosed brats.

Dog wants a dumpling, but only if you dip it in the soy/vinegar sauce. I get it. All the flavor's in the sauce. The dumpling just tastes like rubbery wheat.

Polite dog requests a tuck-in.

An animal shelter has a very satisfied customer.

Good samaritans rescue a stray dog trapped on a busy highway, and wind up with a new dog.

Adopting an old dog that no one else wanted.

Senior dog has a puppy's bounce, just a little slower, is all.

A senior citizen adopts a senior dog who had spent 700+ days in a shelter.

Interestingly, certain features of the game lead to early “burn-out” of the LaserDisc players of the day: it featured multiple disc seeks far beyond the expected use for a movie, also it had a metal back to give it extra stability, but this lead to spindle motor burn-out since it was so massive.

I have a work Windows Laptop.

I’ve had every Apple platform since the II, I’ve had every commodore computer, every WinTel platform, Unix, irix, Linux, most of the micros released in the 70s, etc.

I primarily use Mac because in my profession, Macs were the predominant platform for graphics and music production.

And the primary reason I liked Apple is because the essential look, feel and operation have not fundamentally changed in forty years.

Although the new OS Tahoe, might be a bridge too far. Not a fan of the glass theming.

You know how websites send you SMS security codes** and you have to then type those into a website prompt for 2fa? If that process takes me longer than about 3 seconds I'll forget the code and have to look at it again. The best way is to sit the phone in front of me and type it out. But if I'm using the phone to type it in I'm in trouble. If it's more than six numbers there's no way. That's how bad my memory is. Not due to age, I've always had this problem. Whatever short-term memory is in the brain, mine is broke.

**I wish websites wouldn't do this because SMS/text messaging/phone sims are generally hackable and so that type of 2-factor isn't really secure.

Yes. Social Media is full of this. HE BETRAYED US they wail. Except, if you go back and listen to Trump, for say the last 10 years or so, he's been harping about Iran NOT having nukes, of any kind, at all. Social Media isn't reality.

196 I did ok at Qix too I guess. It was more of a dare that you could put your line trace out to close the area before the sparkly things got you. I tended to take the dare and make big areas so I did well.
