The Arrant Stupidity Of The Shock Troops Of The Globalist Left Is Matched By Its Ignorance

The smug assumptions of much of the left's street armies that they understand complex geopolitical issues is belied by countless examples of their ignorance of even the most basic data. "From The River To The Sea!" Which river? Which sea? They don't know! Or the uncomfortable reality that Spain occupied Mexico for 300 years, and before that it was the Aztec Empire? They have no idea.

And even worse is the hilarious lack of understanding of even the most basic cultural concepts, such as the very common Muslim and Arab antipathy toward overt homosexuality. "Gays For Palestine" sounds like a punchline, but it is real! Or the complete ignorance of how Islam sees women. Chattel; not equal. Or how deeply offensive some of their most loved shibboleths are to traditional Americans. Show a cross-dressing freak dancing for a first-grade class to a seventh generation American named Sanchez, whose name indicates membership in that freakish cult, and see how he reacts! Or legal immigrants who patiently waited on line for years to come to America and become a part of American Exceptionalism; ask them how they feel about illegals crashing our border!

Egyptians are very well aware of how horrid the Gazans are. That's why they built an almost impregnable barrier between Gaza and Egypt! But these smug and hip leftists make the intellectually flaccid assumption that all Arabs love Gaza, so therefore Egypt will allow them to waltz in unimpeded to perform whatever political theater they wish. And they were wrong!

And even better is the autistic troll, desperate to remain in the public consciousness. Never mind that her little stunt was ridiculed, and that it was a complete waste of time, since the amount of aid that Israel is allowing into Gaza dwarfs the pitiful show they put on. And don't forget that Gaza is a war zone....what country would allow a protest vessel to enter their enemy's territory? That's just...moronic!

This is the saving grace for the sane world. These people are so amazingly dumb, yet so supremely confident that their various causes are just and good! Yet they do not have the self awareness to examine in any way more than the most cursory the issues surrounding their cause of the day.

And that is good. Their masters can control them and send them this way and that, and like good lemmings they will follow. But it is becoming more and more difficult for them to make any substantive change, since the alternative media are carefully reporting the reality, rather than the rosy and false portrayals of the dinosaur media.

13 I have never seen the Killing Fields. Someone here mentioned it yesterday, so I looked up the synopsis. It does not seem to really deal much with the Killing Fields per se.

One of the primary things that people do not seem to grok (or they do and it is really their end goal): There seems to be an inherent dynamic at play with the 20th century (and all of human history) the more power you have, the more readily you will use it to slaughter your enemies:

Nero/Diocletian: Christian purges. The great purge continued even after Diocletian abdicated until Constantine put the boot down on the whole empire.

In my rural red FL county, they're lying and projecting. The Facebook posts about our very successful demonstration are pathetic - paid protestors, bussed in, only 20 there (it was over 800), blah, blah.

Plus, there was the overwhelmingly positive response from the hundreds of vehicles that passed by. IMO, they are rattled.

They won't notice. Or they'll say it's all fake news.

307 Local paper & its staff, are all laid back with cigarette and towel after publishing pics and story about yesterday's "protest" -- and yes, it's a commie rag, dedicated to the D cause. I knew beforehand that it would be a puff piece in favor of the malcontents.

They claim *hundreds* of attendees (looks more like 50-100 at most) and made sure to repeat all the leftarded bumpersticker slogans throughout the article. Bleh. It was so very obviously slanted, I couldn't help laughing.

Attendees? 99% white. Not many in the 30-50 y.o. range, at least in the pics. Mostly graybeards. The younger ones looked scroungy but I guess that's A Thing with them these days, regardless of politics.

Funniest of all-- this occurred at the edge of a low-income (read: welfare), primarily hispanic neighborhood. Saw only ONE "brown person" in the pics. LOL. Perhaps they really *are* afraid?

June is also the month of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I was in Spain right after the feast of Corpus Christi and during the novena leading up to the celebration. Although Spain is an atheistic country, there were young people having 24-hour prayers in chapels. It made a nice contrast to the pride celebration in Madrid.

372 Rather apropos to this post, I'm currently reading Mary Grabar's Debunking the 1619 Project. Grabar notes the various social media statements uttered by Rebecca Hannah-Jones (one of the NYT journalists responsible for foisting this divisive claptrap upon the U.S.)

One of the things that has struck me, besides the half-truths and untruths, is that Hannah-Jones lacks the wisdom to perceive that she had been groomed while still in high school to become a radical activist by adult radicals. For example, she speaks in glowing terms of a particular high school teacher that gave his [favored?] students the honorific title of "Doctor." She gladly took the false credential without any of the required scholarship.

One of the most cutting comments Mary Grabar makes about Hannah-Jones is a sentence along the lines of, "The scholarship examining slavery is vast, but Hannah-Jones has not mastered the material." Ouch!

I think you're trivializing quite a bit. In my case she lied about her values and beliefs - played a long con, basically. I know there are a number of other guys out there who got reeled in having been defrauded by the woman's representations about who she was and what she believed, only to have the mask drop sooner or later after the vows have been exchanged. So I have to take some pointed exception to your statement here.

You gotta appreciate that the reason Texas is part of the US right now is because Mexico had an OPEN BORDERS policy. Mostly Americans moved in, and before long decided they didn't want to listen to the Mexican govt.

If Mexico hadn't gained independence, obtaining that land would have meant dealing with Spain, which might have gone badly.

The US considered annexing ALL of Mexico, but decided they wanted the largely unoccupied land, but a large number of Spanish-speaking new Americans from the southern half.
