Iran Fires Dozens of Missiles at Tel Aviv
Plus: Former Democrat Candidate for Vice President Tim Walz: We Need a Country With "Moral Authority" to Step In to Save Iran from Israel.
Oh, I Know Who Has Moral Authority -- China!!!

All of Israel's attacks were against valid military targets. Including pinpoint-accurate strikes against generals of the Revolutionary Guards and the Iranian Air Force (RIP) and professors working on Iran's nuke program.

The Muslims, of course, are bad at making conventional war so they go straight to terror-bombing major population centers:

iranattackstelaviv.jpg

Iran is taking its vengeance. It's trying to blow up Jewish civilians -- of course -- but most of its missiles lobbed at population centers are being intercepted by the Iron Dome anti-missile defense system.

But a handful of missiles are getting through.

They hit a high-rise apartment building.

I saw someone say that five to seven missiles got through so far (and this claim was made more than an hour ago). One missile hit a surface-to-air-missile site -- an actual legal military target -- but that seems more like pure luck and coincidence than intent to comply with the Geneva Conventions. And why hit a defensive missile battery in Tel Aviv, anyway? Just to knock it out so you can kill more Jewish civilians.

Although my first reaction was "bomb Teheran's civilians, then," my second reaction is this: The Iranian regime has been humiliated. There is an outside chance of a revolt. But not if Israel plays into the mullahs' bloody hands and incenses the population against Israel.

So, keep on hitting the nuke sites and Revolutionary Guards sites. Kill the leaders. Decapitate the state and let dissidents kill the rest of the regime.

On to Tim Walz's plea for China to come save its ally Iran:

Note that he visited Tienanmen Square shortly after his Chinese patrons murdered dozens of protesters.

More from the sanctuary city hearings: Rep. Gill confronts fatally obese transgender extremist Governor Pritzker of Illinois with a previous tweet in which he exhorted men to use women's bathrooms to protest Trump.

He wants to know if this gargantuan bag of fat blew up any women's toilets with his blockbuster deuces.

24 Let's not forget that that there is a cooperative between Iran and China on their nuclear development. China sits on the fence spouting that they don't think it's a good idea for Iran to have nuclear weapons all the while providing expertise through Chinese personnel in the process.

Hopefully, some Chinese scientists bought the farm yesterday as well. I suspect this was an under the table topic of last week's economic talks with China. I, also, suspect that when the US contingent called an end to the Iranian talks it was along the lines of "gosh, my arms are getting tired of holding back the Israelis. I'm going to take a little break." (AKA--- Hodor diplomacy)

Do they imagine that any NORMAL person, outside their delusional Leftist Lunatic bubble, even knows what "NO KINGS" is supposed to even be talking about? I forget the other slogans, but they were equally cryptic and delusional.

Didn't Tim Walz campaign with Liz Cheney, as a matter of fact? And the entire neocon establishment took their cruise ships right on over to the D side when Trump ran in 2016 on the idea that maybe we shouldn't be involving ourselves in constant wars around the world?

Because if my memory is correct, other than Republicans named "Bush" and their crowd of foreign policy experts who brought us the great resounding successes in Afghanistan and Iraq, it has always been the Republican position to stay out of foreign entanglements.

As for "ensuring the technology is destroyed" -- Israel has probably contemplated doing to Iran what the US did to post-Gulf-War Iraq, and just keeping up "maintenance bombing" of weapon sites indefinitely.

Hold that thought. Iran's infrastructure is falling apart. Additionally, they are currently sitting at nearly 40% inflation. It's expected to hit more that 50% in the next two years. The Mullahs keep printing money with, absolutely, no effort put into stemming its rise. That is not viable. As costs increase, and hunger starts taking hold, the next Iranian Revolution is pretty much assured. I think Israel pounding the hell out of their military speeds up the process a little because paying to replace what is lost is only going to speed up the domestic chaos.

152 It's a pretty ballsy move to pretend that the history of Israel begins in 1948, so that you can accuse them of being colonialists, but that Israel can't claim the history of this current war started on 10/07/23 when they were attacked, unprovoked, during peacetime by Hamas, and then Hezbollah and the Houthis later on.

All of those terrorist groups are backed by Iran - which then went on to launch missiles and drones at Israel.

This is all the same war that was started by Iran and her proxies well over a year ago.

Israel just gave Iran a breather after the last year.

This has been planned since that attack.

I think in both situations our Deep State and intel agencies are up to their eyeballs in these wars.

As they have been in most wars around the globe going back to the early days of the Cold War.

I'm not saying we should ask Israel to restrain themselves. I'm saying we should stay out of it. If Russia wants to sell weapons to either or both sides in any war, let them deal with the fall out.

Where is it written in stone that the US and our weasely European sometimes allies have to put our noses in every situation around the globe?

And yes, I know the counterarguments, they've be around forever -- we need to stop the spread of communism / islam / whatever, and we need to keep the flow of oil / gold / bat guano flowing.

The Israeli's had an entire drone launching base set up inside Iran that they had been building up for months that launched part of this attack - of course some people in Iran knew about it.

Most incredible thing is that one of Iran's top Generals turned up in Jerusalem today. The IDF announced that he has actually been working for Israel for at least 2 or 3 years now, decided after this that he would be too exposed to risk staying there. Everyone needs to remember that iran closed the persian gulf down in the 80s and started targeting all of the oil tankers transiting the hormuz straight back in the late 80s. They are capable of doing that again. We had to go in and escort reflagged kuwatii tankers just to get the oil out and we blew up a ton of their stuff doing it. If we had not done that oil prices would have skyrocketed and led to a severe recession.

The Iron Dome is designed to intercept short-range rockets (4-70 km), not long-range ballistic missiles like those likely used in the June 13, 2025, attack on Tel-Aviv. Ballistic missiles are handled by systems like David's Sling or Arrow. Reasons some missiles got through may include:
1. The missile's range exceeded Iron Dome's capabilities.
2. The attack's scale overwhelmed defenses.
3. Potential gaps in David's Sling or Arrow systems.
No defense is 100% effective, especially against large or advanced missile barrages.

In Fortnite terms, Iran and Israel are like rival squads in a heated match. Iran, armed with rocket launchers (missiles), launches a barrage at Israel's base. Israel, using a shield potion (Iron Dome), blocks most of Iran's drones. But one rocket (ballistic missile) slams into Tilted Towers (Downtown Tel Aviv), causing chaos. Both sides are now fortifying, with the world watching like players urging a truce to avoid an all-out storm. Details on damage are unclear, and tensions are high.

Allowing ghoulish sociopaths to start a wars in Eastern Europe that end up with hundreds of thousands dead and billions of dollars blown up on battle fields for their own personal enrichment is not how a sensible country runs its foreign policy.

It's nihilistic and gross. And if the afterlife is real, there is a special place in hell for anyone who would support such a thing.

260 For those wondering what Israel does for us, a few things to think about-
1. We share intelligence. This intelligence includes things related to terrorism and people who would like to blow us to smithereens. Avoiding being blown to smithereens is a benefit to me, an average person.

2. Israel does some incredible things with biology and technology. They share this with us. They are cutting edge in many of these spaces and we absolutely benefit from them.

3. Israel is strategically located for all things ME, and this is important considering the current climate.

4. They are our ally, and countries need alliances. It is not realistic to believe we can change our phone number and remove ourselves from the world stage all together.

This is a simple take, of course, but to think we get nothing out of our relationship with Israel is not true.

I believe the majority of Iranians are pro-Israel, and desperately want regime change in Iran.

I know countries aren't supposed to engage in outright assassinations, but the Ayotolla and mullahs need to go down next. They've probably already left the country, but hopefully with a bit more softening strikes, they can hold off so civilians can take to the streets and start decorating lamp posts with lesser officials. Surely someone in the oppisition camp has been putting contingency plans oin place for this type of scenario.

JFC. You don't drop a bomb and assume it's destroyed the target. You look, and fairly simple when you have air superiority. Then bomb again. For bombing raids the ground forces aren't all that valuable because the objective is to destroy the target, not capture it.

I was not trained to drop a torp on a sub and then send James Cameron to go check things out. I can tell if the sub was sunk from the air.

A ground invasion is something else entirely and presents more military challenges.

Your reasoning regarding hitting military targets and a small number of people on their nuclear programs makes no sense, 99% of the population doesn't have family relations involved. Since civilian areas are not being targeted, there is little reason for them to feel threatened.

Iran probably has a good idea of how deep bunker busters go. They probably know how deep to dig underground facilities to be protected from that.

From what I can tell, MOPs go 200 feet below the ground, assuming concrete.

So, building at 400 feet below the ground, with reinforced concrete, probably protects what's 400 feet below.

A thought exercise.

I drop a bomb. It results in a crater.

I then drop another bomb into the crater. That crater gets deeper.

Shock waves from the explosions radiate outward, including down. Said facility is being hit with those waves before any ordnance actually hits it. Said shockwave also result in damage to the ground under the blast, loosening it up.

Underground facility is taking damage, stressing out the construction. The closer the bombs get because of the ever deepening crater, the more damage it takes. Surface access has been destroyed well before all of this.

Does anybody really think that Biden's nomination was legit? That the majority of Dems really wanted an old white guy with dementia, and no charisma, who had failed in countless other attempts, and whose only claim to fame was putting countless black men behind bars?

Of course, there was Kamala. She was dead last in the primary SHE was in, so the simply didn't HAVE a primary to get her in. And she suddenly turned from being an Indian woman to being black. She couldn't even handle a FRIENDLY interview.

Does AOC have a shot, as is sometimes talked about?

Remember, this stuff is more FIXED than a KC Chiefs game!

If it were a fair primary, I'd probably expect Newsome. He has charisma, I guess, and there's plenty of clueless Dems who clearly don't know how much worse than a failure he is. Abject failure is deemed "success" in the Dem party, even with the voters.

Another big chunk came from the classic liberals (not to be confused with modern liberals who are simply communists with a different brand name), not all of whom were devout Christians (some were outright atheists).

346 335 A thought exercise.

Posted by: WitchDoktor at June 13, 2025 04:09 PM (eD91D)

=======

I don't think it operates like this. The stress of many strikes may quake the ground enough to cause damage further down, but ultimately, your not actually moving earth out of the way. It's mostly staying in place, getting displaced within the crater area.

And there's only one way to be sure, and it's not from the air.

Yeah you do not have to physically dig out the facility, every bomb that hits close causes catastrophe underground.

These guarantees allow Israel to borrow money from commercial banks at lower interest rates and with longer repayment periods, with the U.S. government acting as a cosigner to ensure repayment. Israel has never defaulted on these loans, so the U.S. has not had to pay out funds directly." so we are bribing Israel to buy our equipment with favorable loan terms.

As long as the facility is largely intact, the tech is intact, and it can just continue from a certain point.

Destroying access, as you asserted, is not the end of that facility. Unless Israel is planning on maintaining presence over that airspace forever which would be difficult without ground support, Iran will have opportunity to start digging again.

Most incredible thing is that one of Iran's top Generals turned up in Jerusalem today. Diplomatic isolation isn't generally meaningful retaliation. There are multitudes of examples of raiders and pirates being discouraged through history by the obvious route of just counterattacking. To propose that violence and war do not resolve conflicts due to some sort of civilian feud cycle is idiotic. That actually doesn't happen. The civilians killed in Germany during WW2 didn't launch a blood feud against Americans.

Posted by: runner at June 13, 2025 04:15 PM (g47mK)

Well, perfect then. If we're not giving Israel any money, but are instead bribing them with loans that they fully pay back in order to buy our weapons, then no harm no foul if we stop giving them loans. And we should not be engaged in bribery, and I'm sure Israeli citizens are outraged that their government is being bribed to buy weapons.

So there, problem solved.

438 This idea that we have no interests outside the United States is hilarious, if not a demonstrable fallacy. There are very few people who constantly make that argument and none of them have our best interests at heart. Fighting everyone’s wars at the behest of neocons has poisoned that well a bit. But this idea that offensive action by another sovereign or our participation, or support in those endeavors where we clearly have a national interest, like I dunno against a rogue country financing and engaging in the worst terrorist activities against our country, demonstrably, and who aspires to gain nuclear weapons with no real discernible defensive purpose, other than to protect their terror operations and nuke their enemies, is not in our national interests- well the question answers itself.

I realize watching Russia’s shit getting blown up and shown useless, while also being monkey stomped by a third rate country and their IW upsets you, but that’s as they say too bad.

'California Guard troops have helped Ukraine beat Russia on battlefield, Army official says,' By Doug G. Ware, Jul 13, 2023

In part, The State Partnership Program began in 1993 and aligning the California National Guard with Ukraine was one of the program’s first pairings. The program was created initially so the United States military could give defense training to new countries that formed from the breakup of the Soviet Union — such as Ukraine. Smaller ally nations with a need for defensive assistance have since joined. In return, National Guard troops get to experience training operations in various regions of the world.

“The Guard is currently partnered with more than half of the world’s nations and we expect to see continued growth in the coming years,” Zana said.

Ukrainian troops have been able to successfully fend off Russian forces in many parts of the country with substantial U.S. military training and billions of dollars in weapons and equipment. Last week, the United States pledged another round of military aid worth $800 million."

That's when the Israelis made Iran's, Russian-made, air defense system go.....POOF.

Right now, the Iranians are mostly relying on manually-guided AAA to defend their airspace; their 'air force' is a no-show.

I think we all see how THAT is working out for them...

Posted by: H

nobody has said thats unpossible, however, it is the nature of your question that betrays your ignorance, the goal of bunkr busing bombs is not to remove the dirt above the target to hit the target it is to direct as much of the energy from the explosion downward towards that target, that is why the gbu 39 was a better choice for gaza than the 2000 lbers the Israelis were so fond of, it penetrates the ground and directs the energy downwards, not outwards.

even when it is exposed reinforced concrete has great strength and is hard to get through, see the nazi sub pens.

nobody has a bomb that is going to hit someting as farw underground as some the iranian sites, it is not the moab, not the gbu39.

Sure, the facilities may be reinforced. Which will be under continued stress. For a prolonged period. Design limits of which are known by combat engineers who inform strike zones. And you don't need troops to look down on a target like that and see that it's been neutralized.

"Seal off" is probably the strategy for something like Fordow. It's too deep for conventional explosive penetrators to hit.

But any site, no matter how deep, has to have entrances and exits, and ventilation shafts and power and comm links.

The goal is try to seal those off. That requires knowing where the well hidden access points are.

Ending the program means getting rid of the mullahs, so that makes no sense.

Israel has made it clear that the goal was to end the possibility of an Iranian nuclear weapon. They will succeed, and Iran will have to start over.

Z is a greasy little dictator. But we’ve dealt with a lot of them over the years. Don’t let your disdain for him get in the way of realizing that Russia is the aggressor. I won’t retread those details again. But as you can see from Russia’s demands to settle the conflict, which reads more like a hostage demand list, they are still focused on the objectives they were after when they started invading Ukraine. They don’t want a neutral Ukraine. They want to take over the country and use it as a launching pad for further misadventures. You would think at least a few people would get the clue about what’s going on when they keep pulling out the nuke card. This isn’t in the end about Ukraine, it’s about Russia using every weapon at their disposal to remain relevant in a world where they are completely irrelevant.

"While Trump throws himself a birthday parade, Democrats are reclaiming the flag.
Veterans in Congress are standing up to say what needs to be said:
Patriotism doesn’t belong to one party. The flag belongs to the people—and sure as hell not to a draft-dodging wannabe dictator."

Politico, 'Democrats reclaim the American flag' Ambitious Democrats are leaning on their credentials as veterans to draw a contrast with Republicans. Bu Adam Wren, 6/13/25

In part, "Democrats’ newest approach to win back voters is a fresh embrace of the nation’s oldest symbol.

Two days ahead of Flag Day, when President Donald Trump’s military parade will run through the streets of Washington, Democratic Reps. Pat Ryan (D-N.Y.) and Chris Deluzio (D-Pa.) fanned out Thursday afternoon to give a gift to their colleagues to unite them."

(Stepping back to 2017. Last week at the Philly commie/union protest, few women were holding American flags & one telling the press how it's so loved.

One of the cable tv rags & witches (Wallace, perhaps) had guests saying it had been OK for MAGA to have non-American flags - such as the Confederate flag - at their protests in the past.)
