Josh Hawley Expands Insurrection Investigation, Notifying CHIRLA and PSL That They Will Be Subpoenaed

Who's funding this insurrectionary violence?

Well, ultimately, the taxpayer is. But the money is collected and paid out by revolutionary violence NGOs that this mentally-ill, suicidal country is actually paying for.

Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., expanded his investigation into alleged financial support for anti-ICE riots across the country Thursday, threatening subpoenas against at least three organizations.
Hawley says he has yet to hear a response from organizations he is probing for potentially supporting riots in Los Angeles in recent days. He told Fox News Digital in an interview that he will seek subpoenas against the organizations if they do not comply, which they have yet to do.
The senator also said he would pursue public hearings on the issue.
"If it's not public and transparent, then there's no point," he said.
Hawley wrote letters to three left-wing groups, the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA), the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL) and the Union del Barrio (UD), on Wednesday.
CHIRLA did not respond to a request for comment from Fox News Digital on Wednesday. PSL and UD did not immediately respond to requests for comment on Thursday.
"This is not spontaneous, and the proof of that can be seen as the riots are spreading to Chicago, to St. Louis," Hawley told Fox. "Somebody is paying for all of this, and we've got to get to the bottom of it."
The letters request that all three organizations provide internal communications relating to any protest planning or funding, as well as financial documents related to the same, including third-party contracts, vendor agreements and various other business relationships.
"Let me be clear: bankrolling civil unrest is not protected speech. It is aiding and abetting criminal conduct. Accordingly, you must immediately cease and desist any further involvement in the organization, funding or promotion of these unlawful activities," Hawley wrote.
Hawley also requested travel records for individuals involved with the organizations if they have been reimbursed, as well as the organizations' donor lists.

Trump should use the power that Obama and Biden created for him and demand that these organizations and their employees and funders all be de-banked. That was supposedly the whole point of de-banking, to dry up the financing for radical extremist groups.

They built this weapon, it's time to start using it.

The National Popular Vote Pact was never in effect. It was an agreement that once 270 electoral votes worth of states agreed to the pact, that would trigger them to assign all of their electoral votes to the national popular vote winner in the presidential election.

It topped out at about 210 electoral votes.

It has actually taken a step backwards this year with Maine's legislature voting to remove themselves from it.

It was never in effect. It would have probably collapsed under any constitutional challenge. It was never going to gain the rest of the states it needed. It was posturing, and little else.

226 Just 18 minutes before the shooting, around 10:30 p.m., a gunman robbed a man near the corner of Fulton and Kilpatrick in Austin and drove off with the victim’s gray 2025 Toyota Corolla, according to a preliminary CPD report.

At approximately 10:43 p.m., two women were robbed at gunpoint in the 2500 block of West Haddon in Humboldt Park. The victims, both 27, told police they were outside when a car pulled up, and a man exited the vehicle with a firearm, a CPD spokesperson said. The man demanded their valuables and fled with the victims’ purses, phones, and wallets.

For his third and final act, the robber steered the hijacked Toyota onto the 1400 block of North Artesian at 10:48 p.m. He decided to try to rob a 36-year-old concealed carry holder who was unloading a vehicle on the block, according to CPD.

As the robber displayed a gun and demanded the victim’s property, the victim drew his own firearm and shot the robber multiple times in the chest and head. EMS transported the robber to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Yeah there are only so many middle aged men with the money and permission from their wives to buy these things. That high end car market has always been pretty limited. The beauty of the muscle car market in the 60s was that they were cheap and young people could afford to get one. They sold millions.

This is what happens when career politicians get too comfortable — they just start making it up as they go. Maybe next time, Pelosi should actually read the Constitution before lecturing the rest of us on it.
