It was approaching nightfall in Los Angeles on Sunday when black-clad demonstrators began to torch a row of self-driving Waymo taxis. Within minutes, videos of the fiery scenes began to pop up on social media. "MORE. MORE AND MORE AND MORE," a group known as Unity of Fields posted on X, along with a video of the flaming vehicles. It's part of a far-left online ecosystem that has proliferated in recent years, experts say. Some of the groups behind the accounts express contempt for peaceful resistance and glorify acts of violence -- and even murders, like those of the UnitedHealthcare CEO and two Israeli Embassy staffers... The unrest in Los Angeles follows a pattern that has played out in numerous cities over the past five years in which protests that break out remain mostly peaceful during the day, but at night agitators engage in fiery clashes with police.

The plane took off when it reached nominal take-off speed, and left a substantial amount of runway unused.
(Under take off conditions present, the plane should have been going faster before takeoff - according to what I read).
I saw one posting where a commenter said the flaps were not properly adjust at takeoff. 5 to 15 degrees flap, and it looked like 0 degrees flap.
Anyways, the air temp was 37 C, about 97 Fahrenheit, and in the hot air, the plane did not have enough lift after taking off, and went into a stall (not enough air passing over the wing) and crashed. Pilot error.

This is still an improvement. Trump's gut is, in many ways, more moderate and reasonable. He's also not generally stuck on many specific points. So, he's thinking "long time here, no trouble...I guess that's not so bad", but instead of being surrounded by Bushies reinforcing those thoughts to moderate, he's surrounded by hard-core friendly activists to steer him straight.

And this isn't 1925, the vast majority of farm work is heavily automated and involves multi million dollar machines that require skill to operate.
Other than a few unimportant crops, everything is done by machine now. And machine operators do and should get paid well.

I have lived in places in the US with very few Hispanics, and the guys who mow the lawns are all local white kids / young adults.
Those are jobs we want to have available for US citizens. Even if it costs slightly more to run the business legitimately, with vehicle insurance, following employment laws, etc. etc. than by breaking a bunch of laws and running a cash industry.

Trump signed measures today revoking waivers for the state’s mandates that clean up car and truck exhaust and ramp up sales of electric vehicles. California and 10 other states immediately sued and the governor ordered the air board to craft a new mandate.
Related: California will be pursuing those who set fire to the Waymo self-driving vehicles for the required fees for the "carbon offsets" needed to offset the CO2 emissions from the burning vehicles.

I want our congresscritters to explain how an organization which receives government funding is an NGO. Especially the ones playing leading roles in the current riots.
Meanwhile, cut all taxpayer funding to all of them. If I want to donate to their cause I will do it myself. Don't want or need the govt doing it for me.
