Most of our side can't put ourselves in the position of the Left, to really understand them, so we default to "they're lying to win elections" because that's what makes it make sense to us.

A number of years ago there was a guy mailing bombs out of Kinkos or something like that.

The feds took all the cell phone data the geolocated to the Kinkos the bombs were mailed out of, figured out who the likely bomber was, then found where his phone was in real time and interdicted him.

This was year ago now...this stuff is even easier to do now.
