DHS Secretary Kristi Noem Revoke's Harvard's Right to Issue Visas to Foreign "Students," Citing Their Refusal to Address Antisemtism and "Pro-Terrorism Conduct" on Their Campus

Best president in history.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is eliminating the student visa program at Harvard University due to "pro-terrorist conduct" at campus protests, Fox News Digital has learned.

It's a severe consequence for what DHS claims is Harvard's refusal to comply with its requests for behavioral records of student visa holders.

"This administration is holding Harvard accountable for fostering violence, antisemitism, and coordinating with the Chinese Communist Party on its campus," said Secretary Kristi Noem. "It is a privilege, not a right, for universities to enroll foreign students and benefit from their higher tuition payments to help pad their multibillion-dollar endowments. Harvard had plenty of opportunity to do the right thing. It refused. They have lost their Student and Exchange Visitor Program certification as a result of their failure to adhere to the law. Let this serve as a warning to all universities and academic institutions across the country."

Harvard may no longer enroll foreign students in the 2025-2026 school year, and existing foreign students must transfer or lose their legal status to reside in the U.S. before the next academic year begins.

"As a result of your brazen refusal to comply with multiple requests to provide the Department of Homeland Security pertinent information while perpetuating an unsafe campus environment that is hostile to Jewish students, promotes pro-Hamas rhetoric, and employs racist 'diversity, equity, and inclusion' policies, you have lost this privilege," Noem wrote in a letter to Maureen Martin, the university's director of immigration services.

Noem offered Harvard 72 hours to provide the information requested for an opportunity to regain its visa program for the next school year.

She called the move the "direct result of Harvard's epic failure to comply with simple reporting requirements."

The records requested include any footage of protest activity involving students on visas and the disciplinary records of all students on visas in the last five years.

Noem said last month she had requested records related to visa-holding students enrolled in the university and Harvard's counsel did not provide adequate information to meet the demand. After the DHS general counsel asked again for the information, Harvard provided an "insufficient, incomplete and unacceptable response," she said.

"Consequences must follow to send a clear signal to Harvard and all universities that want to enjoy the privilege of enrolling foreign students, that the Trump administration will enforce the law and root out the evils of antisemitism in society and campuses.

Requested records also include footage or documentation of illegal, dangerous or violent activity by student visa holders, any records of threats or the deprivation of rights of other students or university personnel.

Harvard could not immediately be reached for comment.

Trump is also working to stop illegal aliens from "hijacking" our elections by voting illegally.

The Trump administration is unrolling a new initiative Thursday that will help prevent noncitizens from voting in U.S. elections, a high-priority policy for the White House.

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is updating the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) program and partnering with the Social Security Administration in order to ensure "a single, reliable source for verifying immigration status and U.S. citizenship," according to a memo exclusively shared with the Daily Caller News Foundation. Under the update, state and local officials will be able to input Social Security numbers for verification of U.S. citizenship and thereby prevent foreign nationals from voting in American elections.

"For years, states have pleaded for tools to help identify and stop aliens from hijacking our elections," USCIS Spokesman Matthew Tragesser said in a statement provided to the DCNF.

"Under the leadership of President Trump and Secretary Noem, USCIS is moving quickly to eliminate voter fraud," Tragesser continued. "We expect further improvements soon and remain committed to restoring trust in American elections."
North Carolina Holds Midterm Primary Elections

SAVE, an online service administered by USCIS, allows various government agencies to verify the immigration status or U.S. naturalization of applicants seeking benefits or licenses.

The new partnership allows government agencies to create cases in SAVE using an applicant's Social Security number rather than a Department of Homeland Security identifying number, which is not collected by a majority of state and local agencies, according to a separate news release. Additionally, agencies for the first time will be able to submit more than one case at a time, streamlining the process.

...

Polling indicates that basic voter protection regulations, such as requiring a photo ID to vote and providing proof of citizenship when registering to vote for the first time, are incredibly popular among Americans.

...

State officials in Texas, Alabama, Virginia and Ohio identified as many as 17,000 noncitizens on state voting rolls and worked to remove them from the books ahead of the 2024 general election. America First Legal, a Washington, D.C.-based group aligned with the Trump administration, sued Maricopa County, Arizona, in August after the county recorder allegedly failed to purge 35,000 registered voters who did not provide proof of U.S. citizenship.

The Trump administration hinted at more updates to come in the future.

The protest was part of a larger campaign by a group called “No Azure for Apartheid,” which includes current and former Microsoft workers. Despite an internal review that found no evidence of misuse, critics argue the company lacks visibility into how the Israeli military is actually using its technologies.

110 NYT: Trump Administration Halts Harvard's Ability to Enroll International Students...a major escalation in the administration’s efforts to pressure the college to fall in line with the president’s agenda.

How does a president prove that he can do anything that he wants? By constantly doing things that the courts and Congress say that he can't do.

Trump and Noem will lose this fight. This is nothing less than “arbitrary and capricious” retaliation. A judge will slap them so hard with an injunction, the two of them will be feeling it the following week.

Harvard's graduate programs do so much to spread democracy and good governance in other nations of the world. Another blow to "soft power" beyond our borders. All part of Putin's and Krasnov's plan.

Trump destroys national treasures without a second thought. Make America Stupid Again. they want to bring the whole country down to MAGA level of intellectual ability

The law suit from this is going to be epic. However, the damage to American academia will only be prevented by an immediate injunction.

This appears not only criminal, but the grounds for a huge civil settlement.

She's a US citizen but says she never legally changed her name when she married and now she's afraid to try because of "all the legislation restricting voting rights." She's afraid she won't be allowed to vote if there's a change in her identification information.

I'm a somewhat recent transplant myself, so I just told her that when I switched over my drivers license, it was a simple matter to register to vote at the same time.

I had an avowed progressive coworker complain that he wasn't allowed to vote because he was registered under an address at which he no longer resides. He felt that was unfair. I suppose he doesn't know that address discrepancies are used as cheating opportunities.

Citing Humphrey’s Executor, liberal Justices Kagan, Sotomayor, and Jackson dissented.

“Because the Constitution vests the executive power in the President, see Art. II, §1, cl. 1, he may remove without cause executive officers who exercise that power on his behalf, subject to narrow exceptions recognized by our precedents, see Seila Law LLC v. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, 591 U. S.197, 215−218 (2020),” the Supreme Court’s decision said.

The more you watch it, the more it makes sense. And I'm always desperate for something to pop on in the background while doing chores or when vegging out for a few, something entertaining but 'been watched' so I don't have to commit too much... Anyway, I was originally not interested cuz it looked like it was going DEI with the star, then saw he can really act. Then learned it's Denzel's son... Anyway, I thought it was good. Sure, Elizabeth Debicki. But it was also the best role Robert Pattinson's ever had. Kenneth Branaugh was cool as a realistic Russian villain. And Aaron-Taylor Johnson had a solid (and tough to recognize) supporting role...

287 My word, Kagan is an embarrassment to the legal profession. So many words and phrases that have no business in a sober legal opinion.

Dissent declares that Congress is part of "the Government."
So, now the Executive and the Legislative are just "the Government?"

Which they then construe as justifying limits on the power of the President to run the Executive because Congress is part of "the Government" and they have an equal interest in how "the Government" is run.

But that's not at all what the Constitution says, no matter how much you want to twist it to support your legal philosophy.

329 Titanic is a good film, it's got pretty much everything you want, compelling and rich story, likable characters, rogues, high stakes, great special effects, etc.

My son and I saw it 6 times, my dad came with us 5 of those 6 times. Very well done, and an extremely authentic depiction. I've been interested in the disaster since I first read A Night To Remember back in 1962. A history buff. A Night To Remember is excellent, but told more as a docu-drama. I pretty much own every book ever written on the disaster, and in the past before the internet, scoured libraries for microfilm of the old newspapers of the time period. The human drama is what hooks most people. Cameron took some license in a few scenes, but he was right on the mark in others.

330 My only beef was with the angsty kid going from "I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!" to "I HATE YOU DAD!!" from scene to scene.

So like most kids 14-16.

332 The funniest thing here - Harvard pretends to be taking a "principled stand"

Look, stop antisemitism on campus. Make strong statements that it won't be tolerated. They've had, literally MONTHS before and after Trump to do this and they haven't. That was the principled stand to take - expel the students disrupting classes and harassing other students.

If you had done something then, you wouldn't be getting the hammer now. You'd have a little leeway. Now? Snap to it or you are going to suffer.

It's like letting your kid rob a convivence store, then taking a principled stand against violence when the kid gets arrested.

333 And just to add - the REAL reason Harvard protects these antisemitic students is they can charge them full freight for tuition. Thye are protecting their $250,000 meal tickets from expulsion. Also, their Qatari funded center for middle east studies.

334 Harvard didn't have to be the example but made themselves one.

335 For those who have been following, I appreciate the messages of support. I've always thought that "I'm sorry you're going through this" was a useless empathy, but now that I'm on the other side of it, I understand better - it really does help to hear that. And I appreciate it.

Updates: nothing significant. I have uploaded my DD214 (with personal info redacted) at tinyurl.com/FenDD214 but the blogger who has falsely accused me of stolen valor is now accusing me of being a psychopath to justify censoring all my attempts to present my DD214 and get a retraction of her libel. So I am not sure what my next course of action should be.

Some of you have noted that the redactions render the DD214 useless as proof of innocence. I agree. I intend to provide a unredacted copy on her word that once she verifies it to her satisfaction she will post a retraction of
her libel along with a sincere apology. That seems fair.

I do need help. If anyone has advice or sees what I seem to be blind to, please email me at Fenrisulven6 at gmail.com

This seems like a simple correction we expect of the MSM, I don't understand why it's so hard to get.

336 and to CBD, I don't understand your objections, but I'm hoping that not mentioning her by name will satisfy you? If not, pls email me at Fenrisulven6 at gmail dot com. I know that you don't like me, for whatever reason, but this has been a home to me for 20 years and I owe Ace a great deal - your house, your rules. I will respect your wishes, just let me know what they are.
