The authors report that in 2020, Biden's staffers tried to get videos of him speaking with voters about key issues on Zoom for campaign content. But "he couldn't follow the conversation at all." A special team was tasked with editing *hours of footage* into usable *minutes*. 3/Tapper and Thompson admit this, but then also insist that it was only 2023/2024 when Biden started getting really bad -- in order to limit the blast radius of this bomb to just those two years. They don't want to admit that Biden's senility was obvious to everyone else during the 2019 primary.

Beyond the Zoom disaster, during Biden's 2020 campaign aides said that "they couldn't rely on him to stay on message, and he often had a very short attention span." In at least one case, they resorted to a teleprompter with scripted questions for an interview. Again: in 2020. 6/
The book goes on to catalogue many disturbing incidents during Biden's four years. Yes it got worse in 2023/2024, but it was bad from the beginning: cabinet meetings were described as "terrible and at times uncomfortable" from the onset. Biden used notecards. Canned responses. 7/That is not new news. That was reported years ago.
The picture the authors paint is of a president who was unable to adequately discharge the duties of his office from the very beginning of his term and certainly was unfit by the end of it: by 2024 cabinet secretaries confessed he couldn't be relied on in an emergency. 8/ Moments throughout the book are stunning, but only one made me gasp. It was not something Biden did, but that one of his aides said about his 2024 run: "He just had to win, and then he could disappear for four years--he'd only have to show proof of life every once in a while." 9/ In other words, the 2024 plan--for this aide at least--was to try to get a mentally unfit president elected for four more years, and then to hide him from the public while unelected staff ran the country. That's an attempt to undermine democracy and defraud the American public. 10/ As for the DNC, they not only failed to stop this train wreck but greased the tracks: they nixed a century-old primary schedule to put SC first, a strong state for Biden, under the false pretense of "uplifting Black voters." All to reelect a man the public thought was unfit. 11/ There's more in my article, much more in the book, but if you find yourself dismissing this because Trump is worse, or downplaying it as "just an old man being old" or "just some bad days," I do think you should ask yourself: is that really where you want to lower the bar to? 12/ It is not acceptable for a man who has some good days and some bad days to control the nuclear codes. It's not acceptable for a man who runs US foreign policy to have memory lapses or need teleprompter for basic questions or only be able to work reliably from 10am to 4pm. 13/Oh right because you're saying Donald Trump was also senile. In order to offer up a "Both Sides Are Equally Guilty" defense. Well, he is a leftwinger. His article is at the Regime rag The Atlantic.
If you're defending Biden against these revelations or downplaying them, you've lost the plot. In a sane world, there'd be bipartisan hearings. Regardless, the American public needs to confront the deeper implication: we've not had a fit, functional president in nearly a decade.

I’ll take a different tact, and call me crazy if you must. Ready? Tapper is a big distraction as is the whole discussion of Biden’s cogency. The real issue is- how did he get elected in the first place? What specifically happened during that election which ended up putting him on the White House?
There are so many irregularities in the 2020 election that it’s staggering. Yet, nobody is talking about it. Nobody is investigating it. Nobody is fixing it. Ultimately, nobody is saying it was illegitimate. Even the Republican cowards are running from that discussion. Why, and why all this gum flapping about Tapper? Is he part of the diversion? I think so.

There was a fascinating story that came out from Democrat sources in the Lame Duck period, when people were trying to push out stories they'd been sitting on in a time when no one was paying much attention. It said that for all of Biden's term, decisions had been made by about 27 - 28 high ranking ex-Obama staffers, who were scattered throughout the bureacracy. And that they would privately consult with each other, and with Obama, and they would make the decisions, and also they would all push their respective agencies in the direction that was decided on. Naturally, this left a lot of room for everyone to improvise, and there was no oversight of anyone at all. The writers said that Joe really was never involved in any major decisions about anything, and that no one ever paid any attention to Kamala at all. In a very real way, it was Obama's 3rd Term.

There was a fascinating story that came out from Democrat sources in the Lame Duck period, when people were trying to push out stories they'd been sitting on in a time when no one was paying much attention. It said that for all of Biden's term, decisions had been made by about 27 - 28 high ranking ex-Obama staffers, who were scattered throughout the bureacracy. And that they would privately consult with each other, and with Obama, and they would make the decisions, and also they would all push their respective agencies in the direction that was decided on. Naturally, this left a lot of room for everyone to improvise, and there was no oversight of anyone at all. The writers said that Joe really was never involved in any major decisions about anything, and that no one ever paid any attention to Kamala at all. In a very real way, it was Obama's 3rd Term.

SCOTUS has used the specter of an emergency as the delaying factor in their ruling. That ultimately what the plaintiffs have sought. One can understand there are legitimate reason to check the power of the president when using emergency powers. But the underlying facts of this case, that is the IA noting that TdA was sent into the DoJ trying to by a foreign power to subvert our country, is the preeminent factual basis for use of the AEA. SCOTUS isn’t even addressing that, which is criminal in and of itself.

AEA came from 1798 and so well before the due process explosion promoted by the Warren Court and the APA which codified in part Londoner v. Denver and Bi-Metallic Investment v. CO Board of Equalization.
But nothing under the order prevents ordinary deportation proceedings from being used--only the use of the AEA is temporarily barred. So things like criminal convictions, criminal activities, and so on can be done through the regular system.

The chaff got to fight, Tulsi got her kill shot on Harris, and there was one fact that someone was dropping very good dirt on frontrunners (plus suddenly Willie Brown was helping drop Kamala). Then other frontrunners started to quit for little reason. Not sure who dropped the dirt, but all that ended it was down to Biden mostly.

I think part of the endgame is to get illegals off all federal taxpayer dollars. They specifically are making changes to the benefit programs so states can’t hide illegal aliens in the benefit rolls. Speaking of 47, I want to see one of the premier gun makers, say Ruger, to bring out a .47 revolver cartridge, and a revolver to fire it. I'm sure it would be a good seller. Make the round a little shorter, and a little fatter than a 45 Long Colt, to reduce instances of users loading the wrong ammo either way.

Short term losses are going to be a distant memory soon. Trump wasn't just renegotiating trade deals and the trip to the ME wasn't just to see the camels. He's resetting the world trade structure. That was always the plan and now it's coming together.

Odd how, when I lived in foreign countries, I was required to follow all of the laws, including having a visa that guaranteed my right to be there in the first place, along with some form of federally issued identification, and if any of my paperwork was out of order, I faced imminent deportation. Yet, VENEZUELAN NATIONAL CRIMINAL INVADERS get free access to courts, to attorneys, to translators, etc., all without proper documentation, and, now, more "necessary" time to "defend" their "reasons" for being in the USA ILLEGALLY...? Really?
Can someone help me make sense of this, because this just is getting all guymmed up in the workings of my brain and mind, and nothing really sensible comes from it....? Anyone...?
