Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has fired the top officials leading the National Intelligence Council -- whom whistleblowers describe as "radically opposed to Trump" -- and has moved the agency to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, or ODNI, to ensure she can block any "politicization of intelligence," Fox News Digital has learned. Gabbard fired Mike Collins, who was serving as the acting chair of the National Intelligence Council, and his deputy, Maria Langan-Riekhof, Tuesday, senior intelligence officials told Fox News Digital. Fox News Digital reached out Langan-Riekhof for comment and did not immediately hear back, and couldn't immediately find contact information for Collins. Collins also has whistleblower complaints against him for political bias and "deliberately undermining the incoming Trump administration," officials said.
They added that Collins was closely associated with Michael Morrell, the former deputy director of the CIA who worked to write a public letter in 2020 claiming that Hunter Biden's laptop had "all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation," and to get signatures from top ex-intelligence officials.John Brennan went on MSNBC to nearly cry about it, which means: Direct Hit. Jared Polis worked to thwart the president's efforts. The Trump administration even moved to sue Denver and state officials over the obstruction of federal immigration enforcement.
I'm sure it's all a coincidence. Let's bring all of these Maryland Men back to Colorado.

Why are we just firing these people? Why aren't we prosecuting them? It's gotta be illegal to leak info like this to the press. If not, it should be. Agree to a point. I think men should pay some attention to how they look, and try to look their best (when it matters), especially if they want ladies to do the same. My apologies to any Ette I offend, but I inherently do not trust married women with hyphenated last names. You are stating, "I refuse to cleave fully to my husband." I think that's a bit of an overstatement. There can be good reasons to hyphenate. My wife had a name and a publication record, and if she'd just changed to my last name only, she'd have gotten fewer citations in the lit and less recognition.

It always amazed me in the Navy how long it took newly-married Navy gals to get their last names changed. It's not like it's something women started doing last Tuesday. It seems like it took the better part of a year, during which time they could be legitimately referred to by either their maiden name or their married name.
I think my wife still has a credit card in her maiden name as well, after 26 years of marriage, because I guess it's a big plastic hassle to get the names changed on those, too.

Maybe you could get your own publisher to update your name, but it would be a gigantic hassle to get the authors of all papers that had cited yours to update their bibliographies as well.
Academics live by citations, and will go to great lengths to ensure they always get credit.
A lot of married academic women continue using their maiden name for publications, while switching to the married name for everything in everyday life.

I asked my kid's barber a long time ago if the clever combers come in and tell him to leave one piece really long and then swirl it on top of my head and I offended him. I was curious and I still don't know if the combover people even cut their hair.

The hyphen is a modern feminist girl-power thing to avoid taking a man's name (the husband). So instead, the girlboss keeps the name of another man (her father) who so oppressed another woman (her mother) than he made her change her name?
I think in some cases - like that Spanish tradition of keeping approximately the last two generations of surnames, or the American thing where a woman takes her husband's last name and keeps her maiden name as a middle name - it functions as a quick-and-dirty genealogy.

Eh...maybe. Plenty of non-hyphenated ones have the same mindset though. The second they aren't "happy" BOOM, pull the eject handle, take half his shit, 60% of your future income for a decade or more, and alienate the kids. A sad but very real fact of modern life.
