THIS is the exact type scenario where my cynical side can't help thinking that the Intelligence community farmed out to a subcontractor to dig into the Mega-Data and find something sufficient in Tillis's past (phone calls, internet usage, banking etc.) that was then used to to extort his cooperation on something like this.

Something is very rotten in GA. Somehow Trump can win the state comfortably, and so can Kemp, but we can't get within 500 miles of a Senate seat, even when the Dem candidates are loathsome commies and appalling cocksuckers? Just today Bessent announced that roughly 30% of the money Treasury has been paying out on supposedly Congressionally authorized projects has been routinely paid for years without being accounted for. No recording of where the money was going which made it impossible to account for or audit.

Add to that the two biggest downward pressures on wages -- illegal immigrants taking blue collar / service industry jobs, and legal immigrants taking white collar jobs.
So we are exporting industries (American steel companies will never be able to compete on price with Indian steel companies, if only because untouchables in India are basically slaves who work for almost free), while importing labor to do the jobs that remain.
