Quick Hits Part 2

Update: Trump signs an EO again banning funding for gain-of-function bioweapons creation. But this time, Fauci isn't around to rewrite the definition of "gain of function."

Michelle "Big Mike" Obama said on her failing podcast that she is very resentful that while she got to live for free in the world's most famous mansion rent-free for eight years and had many of her meals paid for by the taxpayers, and also had most of her travel costs covered, she still had to use some of her own money for routine food shopping and when she and Obama flew on the taxpayer-provided Air Force One to foreign vacation spots, she had to pay commercial rates to fly her kids with her.

Foul, miserable beast of a "woman."

Megyn Kelly reminded me: Remember when Obama was being groomed for the presidency and the entire Democrat Party rallied to stuff money in his pockets? For Michelle, the corrupt Chicago Democrat Machine phonied-up a fake sinecure for Michelle supposedly working for a hospital. She was paid $200,000 per year or something like that, despite being a very average, no-account (DEI) lawyer.

And yet she complains. She wasn't given enough free stuff and enough corrupt money. It's racist that she wasn't given more.

When you bitch about having to pay for the food you eat, you have hit rock bottom on the grifting scale.

-- Mister Scott

You probably heard, but oh boy, did the Reform Party do well at the polls over the weekend. They won more local council seats than any other party, and stole over one hundred seats from Labour and absolutely demolished the "Conservative" Party, which right now is on the edge of extinction.

WE HAVE been predicting it for a long time. Laura Perrins made her warning in October 2017 when Theresa May announced her race audits. A party that conserves nothing and uses the State as its ideological enforcement arm deserves to die. Far from renouncing May's identity politics and state interventionism, Boris Johnson made matters worse. He doubled down on Net Zero, opened our post-Brexit borders to mass migration and a rising tide of asylum exploitation, closed the country down and forced barely tested vaccines on an unsuspecting public. Sunak was party to all that, and Badenoch too.

Well, we heard the death knell sound for the Conservatives this week. Kemi, like her predecessors, failed to heed our warning. She neither apologised for nor promised retraction of the party's failed policies, notably its 'left progressive' and Statist approach to government. Her only concessions to the conservative critics -- on Net Zero -- came across as initially reluctant and less forceful than Tony Blair's. Kemi was part of these disastrous administrations.

All the more stupid then were the Tory MPs and party members who voted her in as their next doomed leader. Without someone untarnished or who at least had indicated some understanding of the extent of change needed, they had no hope. Suella Braverman was the only one to come anywhere close. The man of course who shouldered none of this toxic burden was Nigel Farage. As he's said more than once in recent weeks, he has much to be grateful to Kemi for. Indeed, he has.

Yesterday, the Telegraph published eight charts that showed the scale of Tory defeat and Reform victory in the local elections, ones that will go down in history as the day the Conservatives became a third party. Just 15 per cent of the vote went to them. It was by far their worst result, previously only having dropped as low as 25 per cent in 1995.

Reform UK now has control of ten local authorities, two mayoralties and a new 5th MP. No one can deny the formidable nature of Farage's victory. Its significance, as the veteran pollster Sir John Curtice pointed out, was that it was a win not just of the vote share but of the (council) seats reflecting it; unlike the General Election, when despite winning over 14 percent of the vote, the new party took only five seats.

No wonder there is much chat about this being the end of two-party politics and the long-predicted extinction of the Tories.

I saw someone project Reform's win here to the future elections for Parliament. Based on this weekend's performance, Reform would win an outright majority of all seats in Parliament and would have the power to form a government without power-sharing with any other party.

That must mean it's time to outlaw the Reform Party. That's how this works, right?

The Golden Emperor promised on Friday to revoke Harvard's bulls**t tax exempt status.

A Harvard apologist said that Harvard just "wasn't ready" to confront the vile antisemitism of its hugely third-world terrorist student body.

An adjunct professor at Harvard spoke out Thursday after the Ivy League university's president, Alan Garber, apologized as scathing internal reports exposed that antisemitism and Islamophobia were prevalent on campus.

Eugene Litvak, who teaches at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, told Fox News Digital in an exclusive interview that one of the nation's top universities "was not ready" for the anti-Semitic and anti-Islamic behavior that has plagued Harvard since the October 7 Hamas attack on Israel.

"Obviously, I was really, really upset," Litvak told Fox. "What happened at Harvard after October 7th, and [at] the university, in my opinion, again, that's my personal opinion, the university was not ready to face these kinds of challenges. None of the universities were ready."

Harvard is suing the Trump administration.

"I'm commending, actually, the letter from the president of the university," the Harvard professor added. "What I really like, in science, we say that you cannot solve any problem unless you formulate it. So he formulated the problem in his letter. He acknowledged that there is a problem. Otherwise, nothing would happen."

Harvard president Alan Garber apologized in a letter Tuesday after internal reports unveiled antisemitism and Islamophobia's presence at the Ivy League school. Garber described the findings as "disturbing."

"I think that's a step in the absolutely right direction," Litvak told Fox News Digital. "I would like to see the fruits of it. But again, I was very, very pleased because of the acknowledgment that there is such a problem."

Despite Garber's apology and admission, President Donald Trump posted to Truth Social Friday stating that the administration will be "taking away Harvard's Tax Exempt Status," noting "It's what they deserve!"

Oh no, the cancellation of its tax exempt status is having the exact effect intended.

President Trump's legally dubious threat to strip Harvard's tax-exempt status could cost the university hundreds of millions a year, and other nonprofits fear they could be next.

Why it matters: Trump has waged an unprecedented assault on the independence of universities, law firms, and nonprofit media, using the power of the government to punish his perceived political enemies.

By the numbers: Harvard's property tax benefits totaled at least $456 million in 2023, per a Bloomberg News analysis.

Taxes on its endowment could total $800 million annually, per the Chronicle of Higher Education.

Losing its tax-exempt status, also means donations to Harvard would no longer be tax deductible, and the bonds it sells to fund improvements wouldn't be tax free.

From last week: Trump yeeted 37 Johns Hopkins students for pro-Hamas terrorism support.

37 international students who attend Johns Hopkins University have had their student visas revoked amid the Trump administration's removal of allegedly pro-Hamas protesters.

The university confirmed the revocations in a statement to CBS News, but stated that it had not been given specific reasons by the federal government.

"We have received no information about the specific basis for the terminations, but we have no indication that they are associated with free expression activities on campus," a university statement reads. "While terminations require students to depart the United States, we are not aware of any arrests or detentions of Johns Hopkins students as a result of these visa actions."

15 percent of Johns Hopkins first-years are international students, according to the university website.

Axios: Right-wing media is worth billions.

BTW, is there any left-wing media? Just right-wing, huh, Axios?

MAGA media is seizing on its new influence in Washington -- staffing up, enjoying unprecedented access to power, and making market splashes.

Why it matters: Corporate America has typically shunned right-wing media. But expanded exposure to Washington's powerbrokers is helping MAGA outlets and personalities establish themselves as key media players.

These outlets are landing bigger advertising deals and distribution contracts, and developing stronger talent networks.

And investors are taking notice.

...

Fox News, which has a straight-news daytime operation and more overtly conservative programming in primetime, raked in 160+ new advertisers between November 2024 and April 2025, according to iSpot data provided to Axios. A Fox spokesperson said there have been 200 new advertisers since the election.

The Daily Wire's valuation tops $1 billion, Axios reported in December.

Rumble and Newsmax are each publicly trading at values exceeding $2 billion, despite earning just $30 million and $171 million in revenue last year. Truth Social's parent company is currently valued at more than $5 billion on the public market, despite earning $3.6 million in 2024.

Ace of Spades HQ is appreciating in value, too. It's now worth six buck three bit.

...

Zoom out: Beyond the cash flow, these outlets are experiencing unprecedented access to the White House, which reinforces the image they seek as media heavy-hitters.

Reporters and podcasters like The National Pulse's Raheem Kassam, The Daily Wire's Mary Margaret Olohan and Jack Posobiec have been invited on foreign trips with Cabinet officials.

Say were any left-wing media types afforded great access to the Obama and Biden White Houses?

...

"Conservatives were exiled from the establishment, legacy media platforms where most Americans used to get their news," Andrew Kolvet, a top adviser for Charlie Kirk's Turning Point USA, tells Axios.

"This forced entrepreneurial creators out into the media wilderness to hone their skills and either sink or swim based on talent. ... Real talent rose to the top and built massive, durable audiences of increasing size and influence."

Say it again, brother.

Six buck three bit, I must be doin' something right!

PBS is Definitely Not Left-Wing Media, says Noted Conservative David Brooks.

Speaking to colleagues Amna Nawaz and Jonathan Capeheart during a recent edition of PBS NewsHour about President Donald Trump's executive order to end federal funding for PBS and NPR due to their biased coverage of the news, Brooks asked an extraordinary question: "Who's more straight down the line than we [PBS] are?" According to Brooks:

At its core, the Trump administration ... think[s] progressive elites have destroyed the country, we need to take progressive elites down.

And that's whether they're in museums and sciences and universities, whatever. And so, in some sense, they have some case to be made that the elites have become a little more progressive. ...

And I would say, if you think that PBS is biased, compared to who? Name one news organization in America -- and I shouldn't be defending us. I get paid by PBS.

[LAUGHTER]

But I'm going to do it -- who's more straight down the line than we are.

Is it MSNBC? Is it FOX? Is it CNN? Lisa Desjardins, like, one of the great journalists of our time? And so I will defend PBS, A, because I know how good we do in relative terms, but, B, because we travel around the country. We see the local affiliates where they're not doing some ideological thing. They are the voice of their community.

...

Both PBS and NPR are indistinguishable from the legacy media in that they offer readers only one side of every story.

This is good, too: On a separate podcast, James Carville announced that Democrats can't just lie like Republicans do, because truth-worshipping Democrats just wouldn't put up with the lies.

Speaking of, did you know Trump said there are Very Fine Nazis on Both Sides?

People say to me all the time, 'James, why don't we just do like the Republicans do, just stand up and lie?'

Because our f***ing people wouldn't stand for it!

If I stood up and lied, you would be the first person to say, 'James Carville lost all credibility last night when he said X, Y and Z.'

LOL.

"Protect the Dolls," the trans cult's latest and creepiest slogan.

They're wearing T-shirts (which cost about $90) that say "Protect the Dolls" -- the "dolls" here being real-life children they want to play with like they're toys.

'Protect the Dolls' is trans activism at its creepiest

Reading a Guardian report on the new pro-trans 'Protect the Dolls' t-shirt campaign, I reflected that there's no tell like a self-tell.

When Tilda Swinton and a host of lesser-known fashion and showbiz faces (I had personally never heard of Pedro Pascal or Troye Sivan) put on one of these hilariously over-priced garments -- £75! -- and smiled self-servingly for the cameras, did they have no inkling of how the use of the word 'dolls' would play?

...

[I]n a way, transwomen are 'dolls'. But not the kind they think of themselves as. Social media have fuelled the rise in images of men with body dysmorphia and / or a kink portraying themselves as fairies and little girls, even when they're six-foot-four abattoir workers called Big Al.

...

It makes one think of sex dolls, and thus 'sissy porn'. This is the unwholesome genre of porn in which a man is 'forced' to transform into a woman, whether through the administration of hormones or the donning of makeup and lingerie. It has apparently drawn a sizeable number of 'normal' men to cross-dressing, while being altogether less innocent than the desire to spend alternate Fridays wearing frills'n'furbelows and answering to Fiona. One self-confessed fan of this genre is transwoman and literary critic Andrea Long Chu, who also once described his ideal / idea of womanhood as 'an open mouth, an expectant asshole, blank, blank eyes'.

Mr Chu has also argued there should be unregulated access for all, including children, to cross-sex hormones and surgery. A surprising number of activists involved in the 'respectable' end of trans activism believe that children should be allowed to 'transition' at an age when they aren't even allowed to be legally left alone at home overnight. As Malcolm Clark has pointed out previously on spiked: 'If anyone argued that children had a fundamental human right to work or to marry we would think them bonkers or worse. Yet the trans movement wants us to believe that those who have not yet gone through puberty should be given the choice to make radical and permanent changes to their bodies.'

The new head of NIH has ended Anthony Fauci's repulsive beagle torture regime.

The audacity of this disgusting fatbody, who uses his position at CNN to relentlessly agitate for censorship of his enemies:

Ugh:

And now Marjorie Taylor Green says that she's going to run, and she'll probably take the nomination, and then we'll have to pretend for two years that she has any chance of winning, because all of that endless pretending sure keeps working out for us.

And I know, I'm a RINO sell-out neocon for saying that what is definitely going to happen is what is definitely going to happen. We all have to pretend our no-hope candidates are super-strong or otherwise the Negative Vibes we're creating will defeat those sure winners. So you know, as usual, it's all my fault that people I warn can never win never win. If I wasn't just stewing in my neocon negativism, they'd win, just like the people who champion one no-hope candidate after another say.

No joke. I've been gaming out the more recent UK polls at Electoral Calculus (I know, TJM, polls are for strippers), and though last weekend's elections didn't occur nationwide, they suggest 28-29% for Reform, which, based on the relative strength of the other parties, suggests at least 350 out of 650 seats. Of course, that depends on how soon the next elections are held.

Same reason why the most obnoxious bitch in the neighborhood constantly runs for HOA president. Same reason why the town busy-body is always firing off an op-end. And on and on and on.

Here's the awful truth I've learned about humanity. For most people that get above the "minimum level to survive" level of money ? Its got nothing to do with the money at that point. Its all about projection of will upon everyone else around them.

And that goes for the middle class, upper middle, and on up. The middle class steps all over each other to reach the highest tier of the Blue Collar Aristocracy. Who has the biggest pontoon. Who can be in charge of the local Optimist Club.

50 I've never understood why wealthy people don't enjoy their money.

Because money is just money, its neither good or bad, it is not a source of happiness or sadness. Its like having a big farm with lots of trees. The trees are pretty but they don't make you happy, they just stand there.

I have known marvelously joyful and happy broke people and miserable rich. The money doesn't make problems go away, it just makes them different. You lose a lot of the stress from being poor, but you gain other stress.

Ecclesiastes covers this quite extensively. In the end, its all meaningless and devoid of hope or happiness. Even happiness is meaningless. None of it matters, in the end. Only God matters.

____________________________

Waited too long. Now any effort to take down the Reform Party is just going to strengthen them. They waited too long in Germany with the AfD...and now they are the most popular party in the country for the first time.

Those globalists totally against nationalism just don't understand how nationalism works. Each time they attack the nationalists gain support and (more importantly) reinforce the support they already had. Very few fence sitters.

The absolute best way to counter nationalism and political leaders like Trump are to ignore them. That forces the nationalist parties (and Trump) to create their own basis for being heard. And the wrong people or wrong things are bound to be said.

They typically taught one class a semester and that was usually am elective.

We had an office in the old hall where they could come in and use the computers and work. I rarely saw more than one or maybe two of them at a time in that space.

And, for emphasis....drawing a little blood with a compass stylus to the tune of "Poke Poke Poker her face." That's how that goes? Right?

Spring does make them more active, but there is always a tension in a cat between survival caution and getting affection or attention with a trusted person or place. If the want of attention outweighs the caution, bingo they go with it.

In fact a few months ago my eldest cat decided that my ritual of going to work of getting some water, keys and wallet and putting on a jacket needed some spice so now he vaults from the breakfast counter down to the floor then up to the side table holding my briefcase. If I walk back to the kitchen he races and jumps up to the breakfast counter.

Not that I have boobs I want to show off, lol. I shop for shirts that don't cling and make it obvious I'm not wearing one.

I pity men who have to wear ties. To me, having to wear a tie and a bra are equally constricting.

Fixing doesn't change that much in a female cat except for going into heat. For the males the wandering to find and mate is gone, so less wandering outside and fighting. Had a friend who fixed an old huge tomcat who was covered in scars and was chained up by a previous owner. He looked like a pitbull cat, huge powerful shoulders and back. Got fix and was a happy gargoyle and liked everyone.

255 The beast of a "woman" aka Mooch, while working for the Chicago hospital, committed or advised them to commit federal EMTALA Law. In other words she had their ED refuse care to Medicaid patients and ship them to another hospital before treatment. This was done to not only make more money but to improve their stats.

I often wondered if this is why she lost her license to practice law. It is all very fuzzy, similar to BooRock being one to allow babies, surviving, abortion, to die in utility closets.

257 When Obama was elected state senator, the University of Chicago hired Michelle as "Director of diversity outreach" at $117k. When he was elected US Senator, they raised her to $300k.

258 Mr Rostrum: close, but accurately described as: She was the Director of "being-married-to-a-state-senator" and later promoted to Vice-President of "being-married-to-a-U.S.Senator", and had a staff of 26, all the better to prepare her for her eventual role as First Lady. Her position was so important that her entire department was disbanded after she resigned.

But not to worry - the University of Chicago Hospital got a $1,000,000 earmark from Barack after he took his seat in the Senate, so it was a worthwhile investment for them after all.
