FBI Director Kash Patel Announces Arrest of Milwaukee Judge for Obstructing an ICE Raid

Federal agents arrested Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan on Friday morning for allegedly obstructing an ICE operation involving an illegal immigrant.

Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan was arrested Friday morning on charges tied to obstruction of a federal immigration operation, according to statements initially shared by FBI Director Kash Patel. In a since-deleted post, Patel accused Dugan of "intentionally misdirecting" federal agents who were attempting to arrest an undocumented individual, identified as Eduardo Flores Ruiz.
The arrest took place at approximately 8 a.m. inside the Milwaukee County Courthouse. Brady McCarron, a spokesman for the U.S. Marshals Service in Washington, D.C., confirmed the arrest to The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and noted that Dugan is currently in federal custody.
The Journal Sentinel had previously reported that the FBI was investigating whether Dugan interfered with federal agents during an immigration arrest attempt last week. According to their report, Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents arrived at the courthouse on April 18th to execute an arrest warrant on Flores Ruiz, who was scheduled to appear in Dugan's courtroom.

Patel also confirmed that Flores Ruiz is now in the custody of federal authorities. While the FBI has not yet issued an official public statement, Patel's remarks suggest the agency believes Dugan's actions directly enabled Ruiz to avoid apprehension during the initial attempt.

I'm not sure why he deleted the post. I guess so as not to comment on an active case.

I think it is more that they have not been seriously investigated. In the 80's and 90's, FBI ran a sting operation in Cook County targeting corrupt judges--Greylord. I would think it was high time for that to return. Same thing with Abscam Part Deux targeting Congress.

The local LEO should be calling ICE to pick up the dude as soon as they get back to their precinct and his name matches the ICE list. 112 Being retired, vacations take on a whole new meaning. One develops a routine and vacations disrupt it. I love to travel to exotic and historic places but the getting there can be exhausting. I'm beginning to see the value in group travel experiences which i disdained as being too regimented in the past preferring to meander along and get a real feel for places.

AFAIK, only Cali has actually passed laws to aid illegals... which is a federal crime.

Everyone else just has laws saying that they don't care and won't assist the feds. Interestingly, the court rulings which permit them to not assist the feds permit that because they're not being paid to assist the feds. The fact that this was the justification is damaged by the requirement that the feds pay them even though they're doing that. Seems like it should be either/or.

Likely that's what we'll end up with in a year or so after the courts have drug things out as long as possible.

We had a jewel that got caught by the staties driving in an erratic manner, crossing lines, and driving way too slow. His fellow judges let him off with the defense being he had just washed his car and was avoiding puddles.

I live in Ohio, grew up in a county across the river from WV. There was a female muni court judge here who was a lush and would go to WV and get loaded all the time. She got several DUIs there and was told not to come back to the state.

Of course, she would throw the book at DUIs who came before her in court.

I started dedicating myself to getting healthy (body, mind, emotions) on August 12, the first day of the school year.

I've lost 75 pounds and, thanks to Pure Barre, developed muscle tone and definition and greater strength, flexibility, and balance. Vigorous walking (30 minutes 5 times a week) has also helped my stamina.

It's never too late to choose health. It can be challenging to break bad habits and build new ones, but feeling (and looking) truly well is worth it.

The Dims were the minority party in the House, but they set up a mock "hearing" with only Dim members. The subject was wahmyn's health or some such nonsense. Fluke testified that having to pay for her birth control herself to the tune of about $25 per month was a gross injustice against wahmyns. After Rush mocked her, Dim midwits considered her a heroic fighter for their cause.

Note that Dims are gearing up to run similar "hearings" now against Orange Man Bad for whatever suits their fancy.
