Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | The New York Times Whines That an Illegal Alien Was Deported After 21 Years (Cue the Violins) "to a 'Home' He Barely Knew"Their headline and propagandistic twitter post omitted a highly relevant fact: He was a drug dealer convicted of kidnapping. He then served 15 years in prison for that crime. Via Twitchy, this is outrageous propaganda. Twitter should limit the NYT's account to exercise some control over this Fake News Russian Disinformation.Tricia McLaughlinThe article does grudgingly admit his ticky-tack kidnapping conviction and the 15 years he served in prison. Though the Times insists that that conviction is in doubt, because, the Times says, this deportee "disputes" the conviction. Ah, I see. A convict "disputes" his conviction. Well why didn't you say so? Obviously he's innocent because no convicted criminal would ever lie. But most people aren't going to see the article -- they're going to see the headline, and the twitter post, and those claim that he's just a guy who got deported. You are a convicted criminal. That's why they look at you like you're a convicted criminal. So it was his kidnapping conviction that got him deported, and not racism and/or "fear of brown people," huh? He had earned two college degrees, started a trucking business, mentored people released from prison, cared for a fiancée with breast cancer, taken classes at Columbia University.Oh wow he took classes at Columbia night school. He's a regular Maryland Father. LOL. The article pushes the factoid that he was released from prison in 2020 -- the year of the covid crisis -- and Trump didn't deport him before he left office. The NYT seems to believe that if a president doesn't make it his top priority to deport you as soon as he can, then you are grandfathered into remaining into the country forever. By the way, the NYT talks about this guy "living in America" for 21 years, as if he has squatters rights that kick in after that time period. For fifteen of those years "living in America," he was living in federal cell because he's a drug-dealing kidnapper. He kidnapped someone and was convicted of it within a few years of coming to America and enriching our precious diversity with his crimes.

He has never legally worked in this country, I would imagine. We locked him up for 15 years, that's not cheap. I imagine he's been on every welfare program known to man for the 21 years he was here, other than the 15 years he was in prison. I am glad to see the FBI starting to arrest judges who harbored or protected illegals from the federal government. I get it, they think the illegal is a sad minority immigrant fleeing terrible things and the government are evil oppressors acting on racist motivations. I get it, they are using empathy instead of reason, feelings instead of truth. They think that its Worse Than Hitler™ to make a swarthy person feel bad.
But its still illegal, and always has been, and it is wonderful to see the DOJ actually enforcing this law after decades of it being ignored. Judges are not some superior form of life that is above the law. Posted by: Christopher R Taylor at April 25, 2025 03:35 PM (2VST1) 27

Posted by: Christopher R Taylor at April 25, 2025 03:37 PM (2VST1) Yeah, I agree thats very likely what happened. But that's infuriating to me. Because if someone trying to follow the law wanted to start a trucking company, that involves a lot of paperwork and DOT numbers and inspections and insurance and up front capital. Not to mention getting a CDL, and passing a physical, and random drug tests. But when our buddy here (New York man?) violates all kinds of laws and regulations to run his illegal business, he obviously has a massive cost advantage to the guy trying to do it the right way. That's not a victimless crime at all. Not to mention, what happens if one of his uninspected, uninsured trucks, almost definitely driven by an unlicensed illegal alien, kills someone? The whole thing is fucked. As Mark Steyn said years ago, we're a nation of the undocumented and the overdocumented. Two sets of rules that massively disfavor the people who are citizens here. There was a surveillance video last year from Oakland where some rival drug dealers drove past a group of gangbanger lounging on a corner in West Oakland, and after the car passed the guys on the sidewalk all took out their guns and started firing after it, and one of them had some kind of fully automatic high-end military style machine gun, and in the space of three seconds he unleashes at least 100 rounds -- aimed absolutely at random, barely missing his compatriots standing in front of him, and raining the entire neighborhood with a firestorm of hot lead. In addition t 10 other guys also firing wildly.

Posted by: Christopher R Taylor at April 25, 2025 04:10 PM (2VST1) I hate to break it to you, but it's not hard at all. It costs about $20k US, depending on which country you're coming from. And yes, it can take some time (that's just how our government rolls), but as far as actual investment of a persons time? An hour to consult with the attorney, an hour to consult with the "consultants", and maybe an hour to talk to someone in the government if need be? Almost all of this done over Zoom. Basically, you pay the consultant, he fabricates a resume for you, the lawyer does the paperwork and submits it all, and you get your visa. I've personally witnessed at least 200-300 cases get processed like that from inside a law firm that did some immigration work as a side hustle. Here's how it works: they get 50 people together to "pool their money" (ahem, CCP money) to invest in a new condo building in Queens. They claim it will create "x" number of jobs, and they use Obama math on that. They build a shitty Chineseium building and sell the units to unsuspecting retards and recoup their "investment". The 50 people get their visas, the company that built the shitty building shuts down, the retards that bought the units sue everyone in sight, and then they move on to the next building. Then those 50 people have kids here, get family visas for their spouses, etc. etc. Posted by: Harry Paratestes at April 25, 2025 04:30 PM (uCjyK) 266

Probably enough to retire on, if you live somewhere relatively inexpensive. But yeah its not like it used to be. According to World Population Review The average household in the United States spends $61,334 a year on expenses. On average, 34.9% of spending, or roughly $1,784 a month, is dedicated to housing and housing-related costs. The median price of a single-family home in the United States is $273,992. Nationwide, the average rent for a two-bedroom apartment runs $1,154 a month. You can probably get away with less than that, because people tend to spend too much on crap they don't need like 6 streaming services, etc. But surely not much less than 40 grand a year on average. It's a group dynamic. I endured it when I reported a child molestor to leadership in the SCA. There's probably a better psychological term for it but basically, when people have invested a great deal of time and energy into a thing, like a football program or a mideval history group, and that thing is threatened by scandal, they will go to great lengths to defend it, even breaking character. And that's what makes so soul crushing - you go to the people you trust and respect and they turn on you Be aware of it so you're not crippled by it.
