Of Course: A Thousand Illegal Aliens On the Terrorism Watch-List are Collecting Federal Welfare Benefits

Trump is looking to revoke their "parole" -- Biden's lawless grant of kingly forgiveness of their trespassing.

The Trump administration is revoking the parole of thousands of immigrants who they have found to have criminal records or to be on the FBI's Terrorist Screening Center watchlist, a senior White House official told the Daily Caller.
Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has identified 6,300 individuals who were paroled into the United States since 2023, during the Biden administration, but are on the FBI's Terrorist Screening Center or have a criminal record, a senior White House official shared with the Caller. The source was granted anonymity to discuss the details not yet announced. Every individual CBP identified is having their parole, which gives them benefits such as work authorization, stripped immediately, the official told the Caller.
"Among the 6.3k paroled aliens with criminal or terrorist records, 905 were collecting Medicaid (including 4 on the terrorist watch list). $276,000 was paid out," the official shared with the Caller, adding that all had Social Security numbers. "41 were collecting Unemployment Insurance, receiving $42,000 in benefits. 22 received federal student loans totaling $280,000."

President Donald Trump said his administration is close to finalizing a plan that would withhold all federal funding to cities and states that have enacted "sanctuary" zones and do not cooperate with federal immigration authorities.

They are disgracing our Country and are being mocked all over the World," Trump wrote in a post to Truth Social Thursday morning. "Working on papers to withhold all Federal Funding for any City or State that allows these Death Traps to exist!!!"

The ill-fated legal attempt to compel cooperation (Trump 1.0 lawsuit agin' CA SB57) was obviously not the way to go then, either. There may be other, collateral legal attacks that might help. But key is $ conditionality.

I've also thought that a good way to drop a grenade into the yuuuge cultural and ethical gap created by these policies (within law enforcement especially) would be to condition many kinds of federal law enforcement cooperation, implicitly or explicitly.

"City A refuses to cooperate in protecting their citizens from violent illegal aliens. The FBI's busy. They have to prioritize. For now, City A's problems with bank robberies, wire fraud, and other non-violent matters will receive low priority".

Courts have no competence (technical or substantive) or authority to opine or attempt to even think about most of what they are interfering with today.

The legal cult (which encompasses 95% of "right wing" or "conservative" types) is literally unable to think about these key issues. So they of course are terrified beyond words that an administration will finally just repudiate a lawless court and fulfill its constitutional duties.

If Trump emerges "victorious" in all these battles with the clown judiciary, without having repudiated it once, it will probably be a disaster for the country's future. Even if they don't succeed in making a material difference in outcomes. Trump is clearly a bold leader not afraid to do necessary if disruptive things for the future benefit of the nation. I'd say knocking the judiciary down 1,245 pegs is the biggest contribution he could make to the country's future.

Even now with Roberts playing his games, most of the decisions are going our way, activist judges are piling up Ls and Congress is getting antsy like you. If the activists have to follow procedure after getting rebuffed and the Supremes start getting tired of the nonsense which makes them look bad, delays will get shorter as Trump will have approved methods to deport people, cut off money, etc

Courts have no competence (technical or substantive) or authority to opine or attempt to even think about most of what they are interfering with today.

Waiting until the actual order but Scotus is getting quicker about stopping TROs from being abused like in this case.

District judges are actually risking their decisions by doing TROs rather than preliminary injunctions because it introduces problems of standing, etc. and fails to balance irreparable harm to the administration if the TPS order is stayed.

End result is a lot of district court judges are likely to have the TRO power stripped especially to be able to apply to a class.

When you piss on that with Calvinball rules, then public respect for the judiciary implodes. In the end, judges almost always lose to society--sometimes violently like the Civil War and sometimes by having their rulings ignored.

The colleges have no incentive to stop fraud because they rake their tuition, etc. off the top and instructors get paid to teach non existent students.
