The killer is a gentle giant who hoped to be a rapper and just got accepted to CUNY.

The victim was probably a white supremacist who deserves to have been stabbed in the heart.

Benjamin Crump is en route to the jail where the gentle giant is being held and will be suing the family of the victim for causing the killer emotional harm by dying.

Austin Metcalf was attacked after telling a teen from a different school that he was sitting in the wrong spot.
Karmelo Anthony has been been arrested and charged with first-degree murder.
Just days ago, Metcalf shared a post on X where he said, "Faith that God got me and my work will pay off."
Metcalf reportedly didn't know the teen who stabbed him.
"They were twins, identical twins, and his brother was holding on to him, trying to make it stop bleeding, and he died in his brother's arms," Jeff Metcalf, the father, said.
"I rushed up there and I saw him on the gurney and I could tell... they said he wasn't breathing. I could see all the blood, and I saw where the wound was, and I was very concerned, so I had to find his brother, and we rushed to the hospital."
Austin Metcalf had a 4.0 GPA and was the MVP of his football team.
He was getting ready to go to college. What a SENSELESS death.

It's kind of unclear exactly what happened between that remark and the stabbing, but that doesn't do much for a self-defense plea.

Doubtful. This is Texas even though plano is a bit more urban it isn't austin or houston. The accused was witnessed by multiple people approaching the white kid and stabbing him with no altercation at all.

While I doubt he will get the death penalty he will most likely spend at least the next 25 years in prison before he can get paroled. His lawyer is already looking to set up a plea deal by claiming the stabbing was "self defense" even though there are half a dozen witnesses that saw the entire thing.

He said some not so very nice things about my mother and physically impossible things I should do with myself. I looked around and there were kids and families. I didn’t think conflict was the right action, so I went back and found this security guard the size of a small home. Oddly the man moved.

I just meant that kids go in other tents and sit wherever they want at meets. so telling him to leave wasn't necessary and I have seen lots of mixing of kids from various schools - not all have nice tents or even ANY tent and no one says "you can't come in our tent." maybe they had a beef from football or something else - usually track is your second or third sport

This is basically what happened in the case of a woman who was shot dead in a parking lot near Columbia, SC a couple years ago -- argument over a parking space. The woman who shot her claimed the victim called her The Word and spat on her car, so she went back to her car, got her gun and shot her in the back. The victim's baby was in her car. Her brother had been murdered two week before, IIRC.

Yep, missed playing football after college so joined the local Rugby Club (played briefly on a team with the actor Billy Campbell -- tremendous dude and athlete); we'd all go out to a local bar or pub with the other team after the match.

Great guys -- and what surprised me most is that virtually all of all my teammates, me, and other teams' players were white collar professionals (whereas I assumed most would be the blue collar workers).
