Quinippiac Poll: Democrats Fall to Lowest Approval Level Ever, Now at 21% Approval

A lot of their disapproval comes from fanatical extremist Democrats (also known as "Democrats") who demand that the Democrat Party double down even harder on the 20 side of every 80/20 issue.


CNN showed the Democrats at 29%, then NBC showed them at 27%, now they're down to 21%.

Haven't see the exit polling but I suspect it was strongly pro abortion crowd, predominately female, lots of gubmint workers and family (school board elections/bond issues election too), etc.

I've been pointing this out in these here comments vis-à-vis Arizona since 2018 (when they stole a US Senate seat won by the R) after suddenly "finding" 40,000 ballots post-election mostly all for the D -- not to mention that mail-in ballots were mailed to all the college students here in 2020.

Universities are only important because they serve as credentials rather than education markers nowadays. Even though I retired as a prof, most education spending is simply wasted. Was helping one of my wife's students and the current average for actual spending 2022-23 (most recent)

K12 is not exempt. Spending per student has reached 18k per year which is simply not sustainable with current cost structures.

Under any scenario, public debt is not going to be repaid. It is well over 140-150 percent of GDP and that does not figure state spending in.

Only workable political solution is what we did after WWII, e.g. debt repression by outgrowing it and keeping tight rein on consumption.

The major issue is a decreasing Debt to GDP ratio as a richer economy can pay back debt steadily without very much pain. A federal debt to gdp ratio that is halved in something like 20 years would be exceptional and relatively rare in economic history.

I agree. I don't have a firm stance on prisoners doing labor. Personally, if I were in prison, I think I'd rather be picking up garbage on the side of the highway or whatever than sitting in a common room watching Judge Judy all day but that's just me.

As far as everything else -- yeah, we should treat them as humanely as possible, including feeding them well.

The shit we feed our prisoners (and K-12 students for that matter) is disgraceful.*

*I know I'm generalizing, and some prisons and schools don't fit this general pattern.
