Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | The Morning Report — 3/ 31 /25![]() The headquarters for the Republican Party in New Mexico was targeted Sunday in what is being called “a deliberate act of arson,” leaving the entryway to the building destroyed. In a post on X, the Republican Party of New Mexico revealed the damage to the state’s GOP headquarters in Albuquerque also included the words “ICE=KKK” spray painted on a wall of the building. The attack was described as being “fueled by hatred and intolerance.” . . . “We are deeply relieved that no one was harmed in what could have been a tragic and deadly attack,” Barela said. “Those who resort to violence to undermine our state and nation must be held accountable, and our state leaders must reinforce through decisive action that these cowardly attacks will not be tolerated.”Continuing on with the completely unsurprising category, I give you this story on the eve of a most crucial special election here in my new home state of Wisconsin: The elections director of Milwaukee, Wisconsin is apparently playing sheriff. Meanwhile, workers allegedly have been handling ballots in secret rooms inadmissible to observers for weeks. City workers are allegedly using secret offices, off limits for observers, to handle ballots for the Wisconsin Supreme Court race, multiple sources told The Federalist. Milwaukee Elections Director Paulina Gutierrez also allegedly claimed “police powers” to remove observers in a March 19 meeting at Milwaukee Central Count. Early voting began in the race March 18, and election day is April 1. Former Wisconsin Attorney General Brad Schimel, backed by Republicans, is running against Democrat-backed Judge Susan Crawford for a 10-year term on the state Supreme Court. Leftists took control of the court in 2023, but with the retirement of Justice Ann Walsh Bradley, this race could decide the ideological tilt of the state’s highest court for years. . . . . . The rooms are purportedly used to scan ballots as received then divide them by “ward” — the equivalent of an election precinct. “They’re scanning them in, and then they’re sorting them by ward,” the observer said. “Why would it happen in secret?” The observer claimed to have personally seen the back rooms in Milwaukee Central Count — described as offices with windows “papered over so you can’t actually see what they’re doing.” Gutierrez and the city attorney allegedly confirmed to the observer “they were using those rooms again” and that “they had every right to do that.” . . . The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel claimed on election day that “Wisconsin has secure elections.” But in 2020, Milwaukee was home to “Zuckbucks” meddling and late-night ballot dumps. In 2024, it was the site of alleged ballot harvesting, broken tabulator seals, and a mysterious “black curtain.” As one unnamed source said, “this is a major perception issue.”I guess Democrat terror goons firebombing Wisconsin's GOP headquarters might be misinterpreted by the unwashed masses and so that option was nixed. Meh, with Election officials and administratators like they have in Milwaukee, the election has been in the bag for weeks already and tomorrow's magic show is just pro forma. I would have hoped that both the state and national GOP would have been preparing for this election for months now. Or is that hoping for too much. But considering what's at stake . . . All eyes are on the Wisconsin Supreme Court election, where liberals currently hold a 4-3 majority. On Tuesday, voters will choose between a conservative judge, Brad Schimel, and a liberal judge, Susan Crawford, to fill a vacancy and possibly flip the court to conservative control. What difference does it make? A lot — and not just in Wisconsin. If liberals retain control, it is likely that the court will unwind the public sector union reforms enacted when Scott Walker was governor, something high on labor unions’ wish list for the past decade. Issues such as abortion are also on the agenda. Voters gave Republicans an 18-15 majority in the Wisconsin State Senate and a 54-45 majority in the Wisconsin State Assembly. Yet a liberal Supreme Court bench would spell disaster for any Republican initiatives. . . . . . Redistricting could net Democrats two extra seats, and control of Congress. Crawford supporters even put out a campaign email touting the election as a “chance to put two more House seats in play for 2026” Democrats know what is at stake. So this state court election is about control of the nation, not just Wisconsin. Soros saw an early opportunity, and donated $1 million directly to Crawford’s campaign before the race received its current publicity, plus his network has raised far more. Have a great day — And. . . A gentle reminder to my fellow Wisconsinites Tomorrow is Election Day so get out and vote early absentee today if you can and for sure tomorrow for BRAD SCHIMEL Well, I voted early as it supposedly makes shenanigans and thievery on the part of Democrats harder to pull off on and immediately after election day itself. If any of my fellow Wisconsinites can go vote today, wherever you may be, do so. I did not flee NYC just to live in its arctic equivalent. And then there's this little nugget: Constitutional scholars believe they have identified a loophole in the Constitution that would allow President Trump (or any President) to serve more than two terms. The revelation stems from a 1999 Minnesota Law Review paper by Professor Bruce Peabody. The move, which some dismiss as improbable, could be facilitated by a new interpretation of the 22nd Amendment. Academic circles, Congress, and staunch Trump supporters have discussed exploiting a potential loophole in the language of the amendment. The 22nd Amendment, ratified to prevent any individual from being elected as President more than twice, holds a phrase that experts argue does not restrict someone from returning to office if they were not re-elected President.Eh, something else for Lefties to go apeshit about. Vote Early & Often! Go BRAD SCHIMEL! And lastly, a quick shout-out and thank you for your continued support in hitting our tip jar. It truly is appreciated more than you can know.

Lee Zeldin's kamikaze run for NYS Governor fell short but helped flip several NYS House seats and win the Rs the House. Else we'd still have Speaker Nancy (shudders).
Zeldin's at it again as head of the EPA and, nerdish as it is, it will have momentous consequences. The core fiction of the Global Warming Scam is the assertion that CO2 is a "pollutant" enshrined into current law as the Endangerment Finding, and not just a trace gas that's vital plant food: "the endangerment finding has served as the foundation for a massive expansion of EPA authority, enabling it to impose its will into most aspects of American life. The finding also provided the driving rationale for the U.S. to sign onto the 2015 Paris Climate Accord, which in turn has driven the global effort to invoke a forced energy transition with trillions of dollars in government subsidies." What's actually been going on is that the Earth has been warming for other reasons that have nothing to do with Man. CO2 in the atmosphere has been increasing but that's a lagging effect of, not a cause of, the Earth's warming. As the oceans warm they can't hold gases as well so a small amount of those gases moves into the air, CO2 included. It's science!
As a youth, I unwittingly ran an experiment that proves this. More than once I let my tropical fish tank get too warm which drove out the O2 (and CO2) so my guppies went belly up. Where's my Nobel Prize? Zeldin just had the EPA propose rule changes to overturn the Endangerment Finding and more. This will have momentous consequences but you won't hear of it in our Media which only covers its own circus. Posted by: Ignoramus at March 31, 2025 07:17 AM (Gqoy+) 37

I don't even get what people are doing when "processing" ballots other than rigging elections. If we have to electronically vote, instant automated tabulation should be possible, with auditing to address eye-raising results. Now, I'd prefer paper ballot that have to be processed because I think they'd make fraud easier to document and prove. But electronic voting and processing make no sense.

I’m not sure but ai think they can be re-charged overnight on a standard 100 amp residential service. The old school used 4 big 6 volt lead-acid battery bank wired in parallel series. Posted by: Common Tater at March 31, 2025 07:59 AM (XH8Ra) 73

No matter what David French says. I don't think that's the case, the Trump administration has stated publicly that they Europe's Free Ride is over, the Signal Op was intended to ensnare in a *Gate scandal with fall guys and calls for investigations. The GOP, as opposed to Trump, has not given anyone much of a reason to prefer it at this point.
== More than anything, turnout is the key to why D's seem to win these special elections. Even according to Scott Presler, the Republican voters just don't seem to want to get off their couches and go vote. I can only hope and pray they realize what's at stake, because the Democrats do and they will be out in droves for this election. Couple that with the subterfuge that will likely happen during vote counting, it will be a miracle if the R wins. But anything's possible. https://tinyurl.com/3tvhvyfw Posted by: Biden's Dog sniffs a whole lotta malarkey, at March 31, 2025 07:39 AM Appreciate that. So it sounds like it IS possible. And it would save money compared to a gas engine vehicle. But would you really want to do it. There's a lot of needle threading involved. You have to stop at THOSE charging stations. You have to plan on 45 minutes to do so. You lose the flexibility to take an impulsive side trip to see the world's largest ball of yarn. And those cars don't carry many people comfortably or very much gear. As opposed to jumping in the trusty Acura MDX with four people and luggage while having the freedom to refuel at hundreds of places in about ten minutes time without the stress of needle threading. Freedom. It wins every time. Posted by: But you do you at March 31, 2025 08:04 AM (dg+HA) 77
Any time an election is close and it goes into extra innings the democrats win it by hook or by crook. I don't expect much outta those wisconsinite yankees as most are inbred alcoholics with wet brains, small penises and an even smaller sex drive who live to vote democrat to stay on the federal teat. Posted by: bear with asymmetrical balls at March 31, 2025 07:43 AM (1M0ma) - I'm not skeptic that it can be done. If you read what Grok responded, it's not enthusiastic. It talks about stops, waiting, lines, different chargers, etc. Plus it doesn't take into account Murphy's new Laws which apply to Tesla roadtrips. The point is it can be done and you can assess in advance what to expect. Then decide whether this is worth it for you or not. I'm a hybrid owner. I don't have these problems. THE BEFUDDLED TRUMP TEAM HAVEN’T READ “ALL THE PRESIDENT’S MEN”. THEY SHOULD DO SO NOW. The new “President’s Men” have been deeply penetrated...The exposure of the meetings were not a happy coincidences, the result of a bumbling Secretary of Defense, it was by design. The media became aware of sensitive information by execution of a deliberate plan, not by chance. I hope this is true. I've wondered why the editor of The Atlantic was the one inadvertently added to the Houthi attack plan text. Seemed almost unbelievably convenient. Maybe it was. is the whole point of this insider’s actions to make them all look stupid and inept? To what end? Everyone knows Trump and his minions are morons. How does further confirmation change anything? This explanation is heartening. Speaking of...I saw a commercial yesterday by PP. You can donate X number of dollars every month to help people get the "health services" they need! They rattled off all this care they say they provide, when statistics show almost all they do is abortion, and that's the sole reason women go to them. On the special election question, and really on elections in general.
End early voting. It widens the window for the fraud we are now seeing. It greatly decreases the ability for corrupt officials to know how many votes they have to manufacture. Straight absentee voting generally requires a paper trail with the voter having to supply a reason for voting absentee, or at least it does in my state. This provides another vector for audit by creating a paper trail that can be checked and won't be as easy to manufacture as a mail in ballot. My opinion.
My opinion. Posted by: WitchDoktor at March 31, 2025 08:29 AM (a9Uqu) I'm going to disagree with you here. Early voting isn't what causes, or even allows, fraud. The acceptance of fraud allows fraud. I know, I know, back when you were young and all the men-folk would saddle up their horses and make the three day trip back to town this is how it was but it isn't that way anymore. What we need to do is have laws, rigorously enforced, that anyone involved in vote fraud, at a minimum, is stripped of their right to vote or work in any government related field for life. Good news! Hubbymayhem and Thing One were able to bully the girl spawn car trunk back in to place. You may recall that a few months back the car got "tapped" by a big truck at a stop sign. It broke the taillight and pushed the back passenger corner in and forward a bit. This fucked up the trunk. The trunk was wiped shut but the lid didn't close right and got full of water if it rained.
Hubbymayhem and Thing One used a piece of a 4x4, A Bloomfield Jack, and some rubber mallets to force everything back to where it belongs. Mostly. It's still a little cattywompus but the trunk lid closes and stays closed. It can be opened too! They also replaced the taillight assembly. The car looks almost normal again. Sneaky hi-jinx in WI election processes. While the state can vote in-person absentee for 2 weeks before the formal election day, there is no consistency on time. Milwaukee and Green Bay somehow stay open for voting lots more hours than random out-state offices. I tried to get my son in to vote (he was on spring break) on Friday at 1:30. Nope. Appleton City Clerk decided to close voting at noon. I'll still vote in person...but lost my son's vote. The inconsistency between big cities in Wisconsin and outstate towns is glaring. Towns are rife with stories of 1 or 2 hours in the 2 week run up that voting is available vs. cities which are open crazy hours. Appleton disenfranchised my son and the stream of people before/after us who learned of Appleton-office laziness by showing up to vote within state-allowed hours to vote.

TheFGA dot org: >Where Zuckerbucks Actually Went During the 2020 Election May 12, 2021, BY Sarah Coffey In part, "CTCL’s election grants—or “Zuckerbucks”—were advertised as additional resources to help election jurisdictions “safely serve every voter” amid the COVID-19 public health emergency. However, a deep dive into the available data shows that the funds were largely requested for get-out-the-vote efforts, influenced voter turnout in favor of Democrats, and may have impacted the results of the election in some states. According to currently available information, less than one percent of the funds were actually spent on PPE nationwide." >Zuckerbucks grant dollars followed Democrats May 13, 2021, BY Sarah Coffey In part, "The fact that local jurisdictions used funds advertised as a “COVID-19 Response Grant” program for their own get-out-the-vote initiatives displays a dramatic lack of transparency. Further, election officials gave themselves generous pay raises and bought cars with this grant money when they should have, in theory, been spending the grant money on PPE and other related COVID-19 expenses. What’s worse, the grants were not distributed even-keel between election jurisdictions. Grant dollars followed Democrats, with blue jurisdictions receiving significantly more funding than their red counterparts.
It appears these grants were much less about protecting voters from COVID-19 and much more about registering and getting Democrat voters into the polls." --- From above, "The observer claimed to have personally seen the back rooms in Milwaukee Central Count — described as offices with windows “papered over so you can’t actually see what they’re doing.” Gutierrez and the city attorney allegedly confirmed to the observer “they were using those rooms again” and that “they had every right to do that.” Damn, shades of Detroit, Philly during 2020. But really, we just imagined it was for nefarious reasons. And, see? They recycle (circle back) ideas, their political weapon's knowing they're dealing with really low info voters & those with absolutely no intention of negotiating &/or playing fair - ever. The Federal government is awash with SGEs.
Wikipedia, in part, "In United States federal law, a special government employee (SGE) is an advisor, expert or consultant who is appointed to work with the federal government. The role of special government employees is defined in Title 18 of the United States Code (U.S.C.) § 202.[a] The SGE category was created by Congress in 1962 and was aimed at allowing the federal government to take advantage of outside experts who are employed in the private sector.[2] The Office of Government Ethics has stated that "SGEs were originally conceived as a 'hybrid' class, in recognition of the fact that the simple categories of 'employee' and 'non-employee' are no longer adequate to describe the multiplicity of ways in which modern government gets its work done."[2] By the 2000's they were doing the hard work as the managerial class of employees from many federal agencies simply doled out assignments & collected finished products. In others, w/o SGEs there would be no 'agency' in operation. It's still much money better spent than on endless contractor operations with no end & issues ignoring ethical conduct, imo. --- Good day! 🤗 Posted by: L - No nic, another fine day at March 31, 2025 10:18 AM (NFX2v) 300

Posted by: Ashes Are Burning" ****** Wasn't the BR under repair at a dock or shipyard? Firefighting may not have been under Navy control. Posted by: Cosda at March 31, 2025 11:08 AM (5YpIl) 302

As a former Navy shyd ee: During ship maintenance and repair, sailors serve as firewatchers, continuously observing for and responding to fire hazards, especially during hot work operations, and ensuring the ship remains safe.
--- ProPublica: The Navy Accused Him of Arson. Its Own Investigation Showed Widespread Safety Failures. by Megan Rose, Sept. 23, 2022, 10:40 a.m. EDT After the USS Bonhomme Richard fire, investigators found missing fire hoses, a broken sprinkler system and other systemic failures. The Navy is still accusing a sailor of arson, against the advice of a military judge. ----- Also see, The USS Belknap (CG-26), Wikipedia And, in addition to the USS Bonhomme Richard, other aircraft carriers had experienced major fires, including the USS Forrestal (1967) & the USS Oriskany (1966), resulting in casualties and significant damage. At sea, but shipboard firefighting is always tough. Posted by: L - No nic, another fine day at March 31, 2025 11:38 AM (NFX2v) 304
Isn't it about time for the 'Great Milwaukee Reichstag Fire' of 2025 or something? It's the only game in town, but the Communists are the only players on the field. How 'bout doin' what all the commercials on the T&V call 'leveling up' ... ? Just sayin', tovarischi ... (or is it 'meine Freunden'?).

"Cheap drones make the F-35 obsolete—missile shields, not jets, are the future of defense."
And offense? A BFO- (blinding flash of the obvious) shields aren't for attacks. You still need a strike force. Aren't F-35s being used to strike the Houthis as we speak? To attack Yemen. Maybe there are good reasons to kill the F-35 and use something else. But given we can't be sure what type of combat we'll engage in the future requires us to have a mix to deal with all the likely, and hopefully less likely scenarios. Defense department is like insurance. The cost is based on what situations you won't to be covered for. It's a waste of money until you need it, but when you need it you can't go back in time to get the coverage. Posted by: You're in hell, the world ended at March 31, 2025 12:15 PM (XBCmR) 306
I've already done my duty and voted for Schimel. We'll see how he does, but I've noticed a ton of the libs with signs for his radical opponent while almost none for him; her funding is massive. I'm frankly worried about turnout.

My favorite union story is a concrete worker from Chicago.
He was like: "up there, we'd pour 30-40 yards a day on a busy day. I come down here (TX), and these fucking Mexicans are doing over 100 a day! And like every day. " Back in the day in California, union cement finishers were supposed to be limited to finishing 800 square feet in an eight-hour day, so you had to hire enough cement finishers to accommodate that footage restriction. On a non-union job, myself and two other skilled finishers and a laborer were placing and finishing 6,000 feet per day (about 75-80 cubic yards). Granted it was a 14 hour day, but with temperatures exceeding 105F. The following day we were so wiped out that we were pretty much hors de combat and not real productive. The owner paid $5/hour, but he said you can work all the hours you want. Other concrete contractors were shaking their heads and muttering, asking how are these white guys doing it? Oh, do you know how to break up a Mexican wedding? You run in and yell, "The concrete truck is here!"
