The Texas Democrat congresswoman, who absolutely loves accusing conservatives of inciting violence and stirring up imaginary “insurrections,” apparently has no qualms with openly threatening other members of the legislature. When asked about Texas senator Ted Cruz’ victory over challenger Colin Allred in the November election and what Allred could have done differently to squeeze out a win, Crockett said Democrats should become "okay with punching."“I think you punch. I think you punch. I think, you know, you okay with punching,” the wannabe-gangsta-turned-elected lawmaker said during an interview with Lone Star Politics.
“I love Colin, and I think towards the end he started to punch a little harder, but like, this is Ted Cruz! Like, this dude has to be knocked over the head - like, hard,” she went on.
I'm sure the usual DU trolls will be falling all over themselves to insist she was using a metaphor. The same ones who rushed to slime anyone who defended Sarah Palin and the target meme way back when.

With all of the handwringing and garment tearing over Trump's downsizing of the federal government and sending power back to the states what seems to be getting lost is that Trump is attempting to return the country to its original and intended form with a limited federal government focused on a few enumerated duties and everything else being done by the individual states. When using Signal it’s been made very clear that content could be compromised and you should use it with the thought that someone could potentially be reading it. I think the rules are that anything that happens during trials have to be listed as potential side effects.

The students in any university granting "Education" degrees have the lowest SAT scores and the highest GPAs in the university.
Think about it.
A B.A. in education is 13th, 14th, 15th, and 16th grades, with "social promotion".
A graduate degree in education is a participation trophy.
The solution? Back to "Normal Schools"; basically an Associates 2 year degree/diploma for Elementary Ed. Require a real degree in the subject matter taught for High School Teachers, i.e.: a STEM degree to teach math or science, a history degree to teach history or civics, etc.with an additional"teaching techniques" cert. The military takes subject-matter-expert people and turns them into instructors in 6 months. Commensurate pay - HS teachers should make more than elementary teachers, and HS teachers should be stratified by comparable "civilian" pay scales, with, of course "barista" being a floor.
