San Francisco Gay "Pride" Event Scrambling to Find New Funding After Woke Corporations Close Their Wallets
Cancelling the funding for PRIDE MONTH?!!?
Three months before PRIDE MONTH?!!?LOL, GFY.
A host of longtime sponsors have begun backing out of their involvement in San Francisco's 2025 gay "Pride" celebrations, SFGATE reported.
The government was essentially funding all of this through DEI grants, which passed through "Non"-governmental organizations and paid-off corporations. Now that that money is drying up, the left doesn't have a trillion in funds embezzled from the taxpayer to play with.
San Francisco Pride, a nonprofit that host's the city's annual pride event, has recently been scrambling for other methods to raise $300,000 for this year's festivities, according to SFGATE. Notably, the news comes amid President Donald Trump's ongoing efforts to crack down on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) efforts nationwide.
San Francisco Pride's executive director, Suzanne Ford, told the outlet that she was "really disappointed" by the sponsors' decisions. Sponsors pulling out of the pride event include Comcast, Anheuser-Busch, the company behind Budweiser and Beck's beer; wine company La Crema, and Diageo, a beverage company known for producing Guinness, Ford told KTVU-TV in an interview published March 15. The sponsors all cited a shortage of funds when informing San Francisco Pride that they were backing out of partaking in the 2025 pride events, and none of them mentioned the current political climate in the U.S., according to SFGATE. Still, Ford added that it was "very abnormal" for several longtime sponsors to suddenly drop their support for the event. A few sponsors pull their support every year, she said, but they typically do so after a series of conversations with the nonprofit, the outlet reported. "I just interpreted that companies are making decisions that at this time it's not good to be sponsoring Pride," Ford told SFGATE. "I think in this political environment that they thought that was a risky decision. But that's just me reading the tea leaves. I think for a long-term sponsor not to sponsor us, they are responding to what we are." ... "La Crema remains fully committed to the LGBTQ+ community," A spokesperson for La Crema said in a statement shared with the Daily Caller News Foundation. "While we had to scale back our SF Pride activation this year, it was never our intention to step away entirely and we are still in ongoing conversations with event organizers on how we plan to participate. We will continue to support Pride, both nationally and in our backyard, and continue our long-standing advocacy partnership with Equality California." San Francisco Pride, Comcast, Anheuser-Busch and Diageo did not respond to requests for comment from the DCNF.

I too am frustrated that no one is focusing on what should the one of the biggest stories in the history of the US.
Our own government and intel agencies were running a likely several decade like psy op on the citizens of the US.
That has moved from "conspiracy theory" to "hard to deny" in recent months with the USAID exposure.
But I guess no one in media is certain that they're not part of that network, so no one wants to talk about it too much. (yes, I do believe that a lot of the independent journalists and whatnot were likely not aware of where their funding originated.)

I'm not sure about San Francisco but in my area you have to get permits to block the street for a parade and you have to pay for the cops to put up barricades and block the streets and it's more expensive than you'd think. Also graft.

It's very expensive. Permits, paying for cops, insurance, etc. etc.
A small parade in a small city can easily cost 6 figures to put on. I've done some pro bono work with groups hosting parades, it is shocking expensive. Insurance for a 2 hour parade can easily cost $25,000 alone. Cops usually double that.

My thoughts on the Cyber Truck
As a pickup, I have my doubts, though it may work as a "weekend warrior" type of truck. Price, though, puts it out of reach.
I do find the truck to be interesting to look at. I wouldn't call the vehicle attractive but it is certainly different from the usual run of the mill vehicle.

All these companies went all in on this stuff not because they believed in any of it. They did it because their HR department or the special guest who did a talk at the office, or the legal team did a pitch they were trained to give:
"the younger generation is growing up to love diversity and tranny bathrooms, they are the future and they see you being too white, too straight, and too old. They will go and buy at the companies who go along with our agenda, and you'll lose money and customers!"
And they thought it was true. They believed that their future and the much desired 18-30 demographic was all super left wing and they would be left behind and lose money if they didn't jump on the bandwagon. And they just found out that is all a pile of horsecrap and are backing away from it.

They have their AVA now ("credential" for a wine growing area), so apart from industry-wide trends, I'd guess the "get in early" phase down here is long over too.

The price of grapes has been terrible for at least 5 years maybe longer. So the growers are losing their ass and pulling out grapes all over the valley. The winemakers that buy their grapes instead of growing them are in the best position. They aren't selling as much wine and I don't know if it's oversupply. Plus regulations and permits, fight with neighbors over how many functions the wineries can have. All sorts of problems.

Everything is cyclical. The wine glut happened in the late 70s 80s, then again in the late 90s and again now. This is what happens in farming is someone makes a mint, then everyone and their brother starts planting wine grapes. Oversupply and the bust starts anew.
Storage is huge money. I knew an old grape grower that pressed his own grapes and was paying the storage fees and then he bottled it and made a fortune on a table blend. He was just trying to not go broke because the wine grape market sucked. He marketed the wine himself all over the state and didn't go broke.

About 63000k pages out of approximately 80k were released last night in two dumps. The first in the afternoon and the second about 10:30 PM EST. 1100 documents in the first dump, about 1000 in the second. So we have roughly 17k pages to go as far as being released in an unknown number of documents (some of the documents are one page, others are multipage).
The dumps annoyed me as the second dump last night basically is interspersed with the first. The documents are presented in document identifier order and some are post 1963 addressing Watergate related individuals, the requests of the Church Commission. Even an odd letter from JFK Jr to Joe Biden in 1994 calling him a traitor (LOL).

It's very expensive. Permits, paying for cops, insurance, etc. etc.
A small parade in a small city can easily cost 6 figures to put on. I've done some pro bono work with groups hosting parades, it is shocking expensive. Insurance for a 2 hour parade can easily cost $25,000 alone. Cops usually double that.

I don't believe we lost anyone during my 4 years of high school. I do know of a suicide after I graduated. I new the guy, but wasn't friends with him.

Ugh.
Senior year in high school lost a beautiful young woman (tennis player) to a lightning strike and she was riding in the bed of a pickup with some others (they were returning to Las Vegas from a trip to Lake Mead when a thunderstorm hit).
Awful, as one of my buddies was driving and had a hard time with it -- not to mention the others in the vehicle who survived ...
