  • Skype will die in May. (Tom's Hardware)

    May 5, to be precise.

Microsoft thinks you will move to Teams. I don't think anyone who isn't already using Teams is going to switch to it because the messaging app they liked is being killed off.

10 Teams is awfu software with an obnoxious UI. One small detail, whenever you briefly over over a person's avatar/circle a detailed panel of info and options flies out. It happens all the time by accident and is annoying to vomit out all that info when you don't want it.

I had just ordered and received the new Milwaukee 1/4" starter pack form Big Orange, and damn if the battery/charger wasn't defective straight out of the box. If I held the battery just right, I could get it to charge, but multiple attempts gave me about a 50% "Bad Battery' indicator light.

I think it's like the line that's always used in movies, "you look like shit". No one ever actually says that to a person in real life. It's just a narrative trope to tell the audience that this one person is supposed to have been through the wringer, and the other person notices it.

"Smile more" is just a narrative trope used by radfems to tell their audience that all women are dour joyless bitches suffering under the patriarchy and all men are arrogant superficial dicks who don't care that she's suffering under their patriarchy. No one actually says that in real life, it's just for storytelling purposes.

54 Radfems have their own patriarchy, made up of 'trans' men, ie: men who dress up as women.

These men can do no wrong, and radfems are happy to submit and bow down to them all day long. They are happy to diminish themselves at their very core to make room for big, hulking men in dresses. Now THAT is subjugation.

"You'd be prettier if you'd smile more" doesn't apply at all to men. For men it's either "if you were richer" or "if you'd meticulously attend to a restrictive diet while you also spend hours in the gym for months at a time over the course of a few years"

Women know if they are attracted to men within the first 30 seconds or so of seeing/meeting them. Men don't get more attractive with some simple action.

Some women compliment their husbands rather regularly. If someone is not being complimented it's probably because the woman grew up in a house where there weren't many compliments or because they have a lot of anger. Best way to deal with this is to pray together and to spend some of that time thanking God for qualities in the other person. Of course, if one is married to someone who doesn't share their faith that won't work. In which case a person can always pray, "Open the eyes of their heart, Lord."'which is a phrase from the Bible. It is very hard though when one doesn't feel appreciated.

105 Dassault Catia is pretty big in manufacturing, especially aerospace. I know Autocad is used for architecture, I'm not not sure what else. I've never seen it used anywhere in commercial manufacturing. Sometimes I've seen baby Catia ie. SolidWorks.

Some companies that have bought into Siemens whole product line use NX cad. Doing that railroads your company into sticking with that software through all their bad decisions, price restructuring, bad updates, loss of features, etc. And you're stuck there at least through a product's design and implementation phase. For an aircraft or automobile with tight regulations you could also be stuck for the entire products continued lifecycle. Decades with a design software company. Not great.

It must be the only one of Philip MacDonald's novels, mystery or thriller, to have been filmed -- though he did pen a lot of screenplays and teleplays. Sahara w/ Bogart, for instance, and Rebecca for Hitchcock. IMDB says he did an uncredited rewrite on Bride of Frankenstein. He knew how to make a story dramatic, for sure.
