Honestly, if Trump can grow the economy and just add $1T to the debt in his 4 years, we'll be in a way better place for Vance...
I mean, the goal should be zero debt growth, but I'm realistic about interest rates (which could destroy any shot at a balanced budget just on their own)...
In 4 years, if we can turn $36T debt into $37T debt, but have GDP get from $29T to the same $37T, we'll be in such a better place...maybe that's too much growth, and we should shoot for more growth in GDP than debt - we haven't done that in years...
Good growth, slow to no debt increase...done over years...that's the soft landing...

Lots of people are going to be made sweet by getting a money that will offset a lot of the inflation caused from printing it. It is helicopter money, and it will have a faster effect than trickling it through the NGOs and hedge funds, but the inflation is there, If the plan to pay down the debt by the same amount is followed, the deflation will offset a bit of it.

I think it's important to realize what this is: there is a small(ish) group of people who Eisenhauer and Trump called the "Deep State" and who Obamas people called "the blob" who basically have set up a shadow government going back at least as far as WWII, where they operate similarly to the mafia crime families.
They do not give a shit about America (as in, you know, the people who live here).
No part of their brain is saying "hey, we should slow down on this corruption / blatant theft from the treasury because Joe Sixpack's great great grandkids are going to be paying off this debt and it's going to fuck the middle class."
It's "how can I get more money, more power, more no show jobs for my cronies, more influence" etc.
And that's the toxic stew that all of Washington DC is stewing in. "Well, my neighbors brother in law got rich off a no bid contract, why shouldn't I get some of that?"

Who gets TARP funds in 2024?
I'm sure there are people who do, but I'm just curious who it is.

The other day, a story on FEMA offhandedly mentioned that they still have Covid relief funds scheduled for disbursement through 2026.
Are there banks still getting TARP funds? Probably.
And the rest of that baseline "it's still TARP" is how they've padded out the rest of the kickback, bribes and embezzlement.

hemangiosarcomas a lot of the time. they start as skin cancers and become systemic. light-colored dogs are susceptible
why the increase I do not know. maybe the cancer has multiple causes. feeding commercial food (kibble) has been a terrible change for dogs.

I can remember mutts living 14-15 years or so when I was young, with less than basic care. Rabies shots if you liked the animal or the county required it. Maybe.
Now that they have checkups and multiple injections every six months they don't live nearly as long.
Probably a coincidence, though.

Andy Jackson ignored Scotus, it is far less problematic to stiff arm those lower courts hacks in black that are actually violating both the law and legal principles of separation of powers.
Essentially those partisan judges have outed themselves as politicians in black robes. Once you lose respect you can never get it back. And for a judge to have power, his rulings must be respected as based on law.
Same as the Dem slander campaign against the Orangeman. At some point, average people just roll their eyes and keep on enjoying less crime, fewer bureaucrats and their overreach, and cheaper gas.

For a long time the US has worshipped intelligence but forgets that intelligence without wisdom or a conscience makes people both foolish and evil.
Trump has wisdom born of experience plus quite a bit of native intelligence. I would also argue that he has demonstrated a conscience in helping the little guy far beyond most people's imagining. The stories of good deeds just keep coming out like the Kathie Lee Gifford story among others.
That being said, you cannot argue someone out of a position that they never used rationality to get to. People who OrangeMan is bad or deplorable won't change their minds until they die.
