I would say that depends on the statute in question. It is unlikely that congress passed any laws that mandate federal dollars sent to a given exact state or require the executive branch to give money to the states without any flexibility or judgement on the part of the president.

My disagreement with Trump accepting the early debate was that it was all part of the Democrats' plan to either get reassurances about Biden, OR push him out of the race.

Outside the urban areas, the poverty and decay in this state are appalling. I wasn't. Trump 1.0 was under investigation as a possible Russian agent, it still sounds idiotic just saying it, and nobody wanted to work for him before he was even inaugurated. He was fighting for his job from day 1 and he still managed to get a bunch accomplished largely working on his own. At the time the deep state was still controlling social media and he was receiving almost universal bad media. And then of course he lost an entire year to the virus bullshit when he was just getting his legs.
4 years later and the environment has universally changed. The contrast to Biden couldn't be more stark and people aren't buying the hoaxes any longer. Musk owns X and people can debunk the fake news in real time and now everybody wants to work for Trump. And now he knows where all of the bodies are buried.
I can't say I expected it to be this good this fast but I absolutely expected more than his first rodeo.

In part, "The Trump administration has removed Caleb Vitello, the acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, from his position, according to two former senior officials with the Department of Homeland Security, under which ICE falls, as well as one current senior DHS official.
Vitello's removal comes after both border czar Tom Homan and President Donald Trump have expressed anger that the number of people being deported is not higher. Homan has also been upset with media leaks coming out of ICE that he said has led to fewer arrests than ICE has anticipated in certain operations.
The current senior DHS official said Vitello will stay on with ICE overseeing enforcement of arrests, targeting and field operations." (More)

They took over the southern Rockies via commercial flights from Mexico.
And got their asses "stopped cold" as the Colonel said, on the Plains.
A million starving skeletons in Denver, etc.
I don't think it covered the Rooski advance west to the coast.
But I think it was basically stopped at the Sierra Nevada.

LEGO minifigs are on a very similar scale to traditional tabletop miniatures. I used one that way once upon a time, worked nicely.

It is amazing that the rent-a-mobs have evaporated. Now you have a couple of dozen weirdos carrying handmade signs while they do an interpretative dance. It's becoming obvious the USAID was funding a lot of the mayhem we saw in 2020.

Russia's currency is worthless. Their economy was never great shakes. Now it is worse. None of that is untrue. As the war started a bunch of talented young men fled the country. Then they lost more men in the fighting.
The war I assume is ending about where I said it would, along the lines that have been around for what, a couple years. Ukraine has all the same problems only moreso, they lost a ton of young men too. They held better than I expected on the battle field, but in all seriousness, I don't believe either side is in great shape. Russia will have extended its borders somewhat, but at what cost. Putin thought he had a chance to improve his border situation quickly. That didn't prove out. In the process we learned they are no longer a first world fighting force.
