NBC "News:" Trump Plans to Fire Very Senior Bureaucrats Resisting His Voter-Mandated Agenda

From Jeff Charles at Townhall, NBC "News" is very sad.

This week, the three sources told NBC News, career employees at high managerial levels, namely Senior Executive Service and General Schedule 15 employees, may be removed from agencies across DHS -- not to reduce the size of the workforce but to remove employees whom the administration sees as potentially standing in the way of goals the Trump administration has for the agency.

DHS, which includes Customs and Border Protection and Immigration and Customs Enforcement, is the primary agency tasked with enforcing U.S. immigration law. Trump has relied heavily on CBP to secure the southwest border and on ICE to ramp up arrests and deportations of undocumented immigrants living in the United States.

Charles adds:

A former senior Biden administration official told NBC News that those targeted "are career people who have an influence on policy and strategy in those positions."

An official in the current administration argued that the individuals who will be released "willfully grind things to halt" when it comes to enacting President Trump's agenda -- especially as it pertains to immigration policy.

Meanwhile, a Democrat DOJ ringer has resigned rather than carry out her lawful order to investigate Biden's lawless spending of taxpayer monies on "climate change."

Bonus: FCC Chairman Brendan Carr will investigate NBC for its illegal DEI racial and sex discrimination.

So the interesting part about this is she didn't just take the role and sit on the actual investigation which leads me to believe:

2) She fears that the people doing the actual investigation work under her would turn her in for insubordination if she did just try and sit on the investigation

The way things ended for him in The Last Jedi is why I hate that movie so much. Not because of Rey, or Purple Admiral, or anything else.

The death ray had the Resistance trapped, and he was going to sacrifice himself by flying his fighter into it--sad, but a heroic end to his story arc--and f*cking Rose what's her face knocks him off-course and he crashes, and then she justifies it with some stupid line about using love, not hate, that's supposed to sound super wise, because she's an Asian woman. Even though she's put everyone else in imminent danger of being killed.

What a stupid, stupid ending.

Lucas would have made a solid, long term, career film editor.

His reputation as a visionary was always oversold. He relied way too much on other people.

I mean...filmmaking is a collaborative medium and requires input from a host of people. On 2001, Kubrick was asking for ideas from everyone (Gary Lockwood came up with the idea of HAL reading the astronauts' lips), but with Lucas, it was like everyone was carrying him. He wasn't collaborating, he was getting lucky.

4) Sidious mostly does nothing outside of encourage bullheaded arrogant Jedi and Republic pols to keep making things worse, but by not being an obvious corrupt SOB he builds a following
5) The people tired of war with no hope of victory turn to Sidious, who in turn uses the real corruption of his enemies to use the laws of the Republic to get rid of them
6) Only at the end of the prequels do Yoda, Obiwan, and their allies realize THEY were the cause of the rise of Sidious and realize they have to turn everything over to new leaders that aren't clueless - which is why at the start of the original star wars movies they aren't important any more.

269 Lucas would have made a solid, long term, career film editor.

Posted by: TheJamesMadison, watching B-movies with Roger Corman at February 18, 2025 04:30 PM (GBKbO)

I really don't see much of Lucas in the OT, if the prequel trilogy is a sample of his writing and directing.
I think one of the big contributors was his wife at the time.

The idea he has had 12 movies even roughed out is an obvious lie. He's even hiding out under his real father's name with his real aunt and uncle. And he planned to join the Navy? Vaders place in the universe was buffed up massively between 1 and 2 when he was a big hit.

No, Indy led them to Marion and to the medallion Him bringing the medallion to Egypt led to the Ark being found in the first place, as the final clue was not burned into the Nazi's hand.

If he had not gone to Marion, nothing happens.

Its pretty unclear how the ark ends up in the hands of the US. I suppose he got back in contact with his friend and smuggled it out before the UK could grab it.

Yes, without a doubt.

Rs have to try to hold AG if they want a shot at VA in 2028 - with an incumbent running, that's their best shot.

After prices collapse, Congress needs to buy up the homes and bulldoze them. Depopulate the D.C. area. Personnel is policy and it will be much harder for the deep state to reconstitute itself if D.C. is surrounded by a million acres of Donald J. Trump National Wetlands.

The outlet reports the pope has therefore been working to "tie up loose ends," including in extending the term of the dean of the College of Cardinals, 91-year-old Italian cardinal Giovanni Battista Re. When a pope dies, it is the dean who delivers funeral rites, prepares for the papal conclave, and convenes cardinals to discuss the desired qualities of the next pope."

Also, Kamala sidelined a bunch more.
Look at her campaign head in PA--a must-win state:
Asian, female
PolySci masters
Lobbying job at a Pittsburg union
Deputy for Biden's PA campaign

That's her resume for a must-win state job.

Dems got so fat and lazy, so flush with unlimited federal funds, not only is their bench of politicians weaker then ever but their operatives are even worse.
Literally anyone would win so competence was completely abandoned.

409 Here's another story to bring a tear to your eye.

Missouri AG sues Starbucks for "systemic race and sex discrimination” in diversity policies
. . . .
Missouri brings this lawsuit because Starbucks has violated federal and state laws prohibiting race discrimination. Starbucks ties compensation to racial and sex-based quotas, discriminates on the basis of race and sex in training and advancement opportunities, and discriminates on the basis of race and sex with respect to its board membership. All of this is unlawful.
